Abstract

Online learning is currently one of the lecture models that is widely applied on various campuses. However, learning control raises a problem so a solution is needed to maintain the quality of learning. This study aims to test the effectiveness of textbooks in online learning in morphology courses. The method used is a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods. to assess the feasibility of textbooks, researchers distributed questionnaires to students. statistical test results showed that there is a significant influence between the use of exercise-based textbook with students’ learning outcomes (Sig. = 0.021<0.05) in which class B who used textbooks scored 81.190 or higher than class A who did not use textbooks with a score of 70.727. Students’ response to the textbooks used are 71% good so that the textbook is suitable for use as textbooks. Thus, the use of exercise-based textbook on online learning in morphology courses is very helpful in improving the quality of learning.

Abstract

Driving at high speed and recklessly is the main cause of traffic accidents. In several places speed bumps are installed as a medium to warn drivers to slow down the speed of the vehicle, but the installation of speed bumps in several places has become a problem in itself with inconvenience for drivers traveling at low speeds, so it is necessary to develop an intelligent system to warn drivers when speeding. vehicles break safety boundaries, making drivers safer and more comfortable. At the vehicle identification stage, a combination of the Adaptive Background Subtraction method with the Haar Cascade Classifier is proposed, and vehicle speed estimation is carried out by calculating the time difference in the detection area or Region of Interest (ROI). Testing was carried out using traffic videos with three conditions, namely day, evening and night, with each condition using the same object data, namely 55 images of car objects. The proposed method produces car detection accuracy with an average of 85% and MSE 0.5 in vehicle speed measurements.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has influenced educational patterns and styles in Islamic boarding schools. To increase learning efficiency and wider access to information, the digital world also provides new means for obtaining and communicating religious ideas and opinions. However, concerns arise regarding the potential negative impact of digital media which could erode Islamic boarding school culture and traditions such as the tradition of face-to-face learning (mumukaah), searching for references through Turast books/books (istimbat), and direct interaction between teachers (ustadz) and students. The use of cellphones, laptops and smart TVs as learning media presents its own challenges. Responding to this situation, the aim of the service is to collaborate to provide actualization of digital literacy for female students, the asatidaz board and supervisors at the Hikmatusysyarief Salut Narmada Islamic Boarding School. This activity is a manifestation of the university's active role in supporting digital literacy among Islamic boarding schools to prepare Indonesia's golden generation in 2045. The implementation method uses a visual integrative thinking method approach, which combines various methods such as visualization of integrative ideas, informative lectures, open discussions, and reflection. in-depth and problem-solving based on students' real experiences during the learning process in Islamic boarding schools. In conclusion, digital literacy for female students' self-actualization is very important. This can increase the self-confidence of female students to respond to the challenges of this modern era and avoid negative digital behavior.

Abstract

Child marriage is one of the major risk factors contributing to the high prevalence of stunting in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas. Adolescents, as a group transitioning into adulthood, play a strategic role in preventing early marriage through improved literacy in reproductive health and nutrition. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and awareness of youth members of the Karang Taruna in Sukaraja Village regarding the dangers of child marriage and its association with stunting risk. The program involved 23 adolescents as participants. The implementation methods included initial observation, development of educational materials, coordination with village authorities, interactive lectures, participatory discussions, and demonstrations of educational media. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test instruments, attitude observation, and brief reflective interviews. Results showed a significant increase in participants’ knowledge, indicated by an improvement in the average score from 52.8 to 80.97 after the educational session. Participants also demonstrated more critical attitudes toward child marriage practices and expressed commitment to becoming agents of change in stunting prevention within their community. This program proved effective in improving adolescents’ reproductive health literacy and shows potential for sustainability through Karang Taruna initiatives to continue educational campaigns. Community-based education efforts such as this are essential to support the postponement of marriage age and reduce stunting risk among future generations.
