Abstract

Laminated beams of two, three and four layers of coconut wood the bottom, middle and top part with PVAc adhesive (Poly Vinyl Acetat). The purpose of this research is to make coconut wood laminate beams for structural building materials. The results showed that the laminated beam two, three and four layers are made of wood bottom and middle part produce strong mechanical strength class II and III, so that qualified for structural building materials (SNI.03-3527-94). laminated beams of two, three and four are made of wood mechanical strength of the top part produces a strong class IV and meet for structural building materials (SNI.03-3527-94). Abstract

Limbah tempurung kelapa sawit untuk briket bahan bakar. Perlakuan yang digunakan yaitu kehalusan serbuk (7 mesh, 16 mesh dan 25 mesh), perlakuan tekanan kempa (3 ton, 5 ton dan 7 ton), dan perlakuan perekat (2,5% dan 5%). Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh kehalusan serbuk 7 mesh menghasilkan nilai kalori lebih besar dan kadar abu lebih rendah dibandingkan 16 mesh dan 25 mesh. Tekanan kempa 7 ton dan perekat 5% menghasilkan kekuatan tekan lebih besar dan kadar air lebih rendah dibandingkan tekana kempa 3 ton dan 5 ton serta perekat 2,5%. Kadar sulfur briket tempurung kelapa sawit adalah rata-rata negatif.

Abstract

Finishing of coconut wood use the polyurethane, melamine formaldehyde and ultran vernis with the spraying 1 times and 2 times. Research target for the change of performance of colour and fibre of coconut wood more interesting. Result of research indicate that the use of substance of finishing polyurethane, melamine formaldehyde and ultran vernis can change the colour and fibre. Before coconut wood done  finishing have the black chocolate colour  and  fibre pattern rather dark. After doing finishing colour become the squeezing chocolate, fibre pattern rather look and flatten.Keywords: coconut wood, finishing, interior materi, bahan interior, polyurethane, melamine formaldehide, ultran vernis.

Abstract

The treatment of waste water palm oil industry using  UAF reactor. The research purpose was to make a prototype that includes a wast ewater tank, a sedimentation tank  and UAF reactor, and then trial the waste water treatment. Filters used were pieces of PVC pipe, and at the bottom of the UAF reactor filled with sludge. To quickly decrease waste water TSS, the sedimentation addition 0.5% PAC (Poly Aluminium Chloride). Acclimatization process doing duration 30 days, and the waste water treatment process at UAF reactor doing duration 24 hours, then doing  analyzed the raw waste water quality before and after the processing of the reactor. Results of analysis of wastewater before treatment is pH 7.36; BOD 980 ppm; COD 1960.6 ppm ; TSS 50 89 ppm ; fatty oil 43 ppm; NH3-H 2,80 ppm and N-Total 246.64 ppm. The results of waste water treatment for 24 hours in the UAF reactor is pH 6.64; BOD 28.84 ppm; COD 56.94 ppm; TSS 48 ppm; fatty oils <1 ppm; NH3-N 0.082 ppm and N-Total 11.31 ppm.Keywords: waste water, palm oil, anaerobic, UAF reactor, tube PVC

Abstract

Oil palm empty fruit bunches (OPEFB) fiber were industrial waste that has not been widely used by the community, only stacked and cause odors that interfere with the surrounding environment. This research studied the utilization of OPEFB fiber for cement board products using cement as resin and CaCl2 as accelerator. Laboratory scale cement board made from OPEFB fiber were mixed with cement, and CaCl2. The composition of fiber and cement were 1:1, 1:1.5, 1:2, and CaCl2 variations were 0%, 1% and 3%. A mixture of fibers, cement and CaCl2 was compressed at the pressure of 4 ton for 24 hours. The cement boards were tested for physical and mechanical properties according to JIS A 5417-1992, and the results were compared to the requirements of the cement board JIS A 5417-1992. Cement board made from fiber and cement composition 1:1.5 and CaCl2 content 3% produced moisture content, thickness swelling, water absorption, density, modulus of rupture/MOR, modulus of elasticity/MOE and screw withdrawal strength that met the requirement of JIS A 5417-1992. The composition of fiber and cement and the variations of CaCl2 content produced significant effect on water content, water absorption, thickness swelling, modulus of rupture/MOR, modulus of elasticity/MOE and screw withdrawal strength on cement boards.Keywords : oil palm empty fruit bunches fiber, cement boards, physical and mechanical properties

Abstract

Palm shell waste has not been used optimally. Utilization can be as fuel in the form of biobriquette. The purpose of this research studied the effects of pressure hydraulic and adhesive concentration on biobriquette properties. Research includes palm shell crushed, screened with fineness 7 mesh, mixed with amylum adhesive solution 2.5% and 5%. Printed in diameter of 3 cm and a height of 7 cm. The emphasis with the pressure of 3 tons, 5 tons and 7 tons. Biobriqutte dried naturally. Quality analysis with refers to the National Standardization Agency (1994). Results pressure 3 tons and adhesive concentration of 5% produces the best with sulfur levels of negative value and calorific 4442.78 cal / g and qualify for household fuels. Treatment interactions pressure and concentration of adhesive very significant effect on moisture, ash, carbon, volatile matter content, density and compressive strengtth biobriqutte.Keywords:  palm shell,  consentration of adhesive, pressure hydraulics, biobriquette

Abstract

The ability view and remember the conditions surrounding is important in navigation. Ability of the kinect sensor have limitations viewing angles, and limitations reading the distance. Due to not all objects can reflect laser light very well. This research the proposed navigation system uses data of kinect depth and databases map. The experiment uses a mini computer (raspberry pi 2) to process data of kinect. Average processing each frame is 379.73 ms, the processing speed is not too fast, but navigation mobile robot can be resolved.

Abstract

Computer Vision, suatu bidang yang melibatkan metode proses, akuisisi, analisa, dan pengolahan citra berdimensi tinggi dari dunia nyata untuk menghasilkan informasi numerik maupun simbol. Informasi itu dapat digunakan untuk melakukan suatu interpretasi satuan panjang. Interpretasi tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan pada toko baju untuk sebuah sistem pengukuran badan seseorang. Sistem ini dikhususkan untuk mengukur badan pria karena lebih mudah daripada mengukur badan wanita. Penggunaannya dapat mengurangi kerugian baju yang longgar akibat dicoba oleh pelanggan, serta pelanggan akan merasa puas karena proses pengukuran yang cepat dan mendapatkan ukuran yang sesuai. Sistem pengukuran badan pria akan dilakukan pada suatu ruangan yang dilengkapi dengan sebuah kamera kinect, layar monitor, dan unit proses untuk interaksi pengguna dengan sistem. Kamera kinect digunakan karena selain dapat menangkap gambar ia dilengkapi dengan IR projector dan sensor yang dapat memberikan informasi depth. Setelah pengguna memulai sistem, kamera kinect akan mengirimkan informasi gambar serta depth ke unit proses untuk melakukan pengolahan gambar, feature extraction, serta pemrosesan lebih lanjut untuk mengukur panjang, dan lebar badan dari pengguna. Pada layar monitor akan memperlihatkan data hasil pengukuran serta kategori ukuran baju S, M, L, dan XL yang dianjurkan untuk pengguna.

Abstract

Fokus pada penelitian ini adalah pengembangan sistem mobile robot yang dapat dikontrol secara manual oleh pengguna dengan menggunakan jaringan wifi. Sistem kendali jarak jauh dalam sistem ini digunakan agar pengguna dapat mengontrol pergerakan mobile robot sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Secara garis besar, sistem dibagi menjadi dua bagian besar yaitu bagian server dan client. Bagian server terdiri dari program untuk komunikasi data dengan client dan perangkat keras yang terdiri dari pembuatan mekanik mobile robot dan rangkaian driver motor. Sedangkan client adalah program untuk komunikasi data dengan server yang mengirimkan perintah gerak mobile robot. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian terhadap sistem terdapat faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peforma sistem. Faktor tersebut adalah spesifikasi jaringan wifi yang digunakan meliputi lebarnya bandwidth yang disediakan dan kestabilan jaringan wifi. Kestabilan jaringan wifi yang dimaksud disini adalah tidak adanya koneksi yang terputus (request timed out) pada saat komunikasi data sedang berlangsung. Penerapan sistem dapat memberikan hasil yang optimal jika jaringan wifi yang digunakan stabil dan bandwidth yang tersedia memenuhi kebutuhan sistem. Sistem yang dirancang dalam penelitian ini merupakan inisiasi dari sistem tele-helper-robot yaitu mobile robot yang diharapkan dapat membantu peran perawat di rumah sakit.

Abstract

Wewenang Mahkamah Konstitusi secara khusus diatur dalam pasal 24C Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Dasar 1945 jo. Pasal 10 Ayat (1) Undang-Undang Nomor 24 Tahun 2003 sebagaimana telah diubah dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 2011 tentang Mahkamah Konstitusi yang menyatakan : (1) Mahkamah Konstitusi berwenang mengadili pada tingkat pertama dan terakhir yang putusannya bersifat final untuk menguji Undang-Undang terhadap Undang-Undang Dasar ; (2) Memutus sengketa kewenangan lembaga negara yang kewenangannnya diberikan oleh Undang-Undang Dasar. Mahkamah Konstitusi dimunculkan sebagai lembaga negara dengan hak melakukan uji materi (judicial review, atau secara lebih spesifik melakukan constitutional review) Undang-Undang terhadap Undang-Undang Dasar. Selama Mahkamah Konstitusi beroperasi mulai 15 Oktober 2003, Mahkamah Konstitusi telah melakukan beberapa kali judicial review terhadap Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti Undang-Undang, yaitu Peraturan Pemerintah Pengganti Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2008, Nomor 2 Tahun 2008, dan Nomor 4 Tahun 2008.
