Abstract

This research aims to produce e-magnetic learning media products based on the Smart Apps Creator (SAC) application on magnetic material that meets quality criteria regarding validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. The research subjects were 21 students in class IX-C of SMP Negeri 11 Gorontalo, Gorontalo Regency, Gorontalo Province. The research results show that (1) the validation results of e-magnetic learning media based on SAC by two validators obtained an average validation score of 96.88%, meeting the criteria of being valid and usable; (2) The practical aspect shows that observations of learning implementation obtained an average percentage of 88% with very good criteria and student responses obtained an average percentage of 9% with very good criteria. The results obtained indicate that the e-magnetic learning media based on SAC that was developed is practical; and (3) The effectiveness aspect is determined through student activity, which reached 84.42% with very good criteria and learning outcomes for the cognitive domain in magnetism topic reached an N-gain value of 0.70, including in the high category and the classical percentage results of participant learning outcomes. Students reached 80.12%. The results of this research can be concluded that e-magnetic learning media based on SAC on magnetism topic at SMP Negeri 11 Gorontalo has met the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, bahwa terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan pada tes three tier diagnostic test yang dibarengi dengan model pembelajaran inquiry based learning dalam pembelajaran dibutuhkan untuk mengetahui besar atau kecilnya tingkat pemahaman peserta didik pada topik Fluida Statis dan meminimalisirkan miskonsepsi pada peserta didik disekolah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Bonepantai tahun ajaran 2023/2024, yang berjumlah 2 kelas. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 2 kelas, yaitu kelas XI Fisika 1, sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI Fisika 2, sebagai kelas replikasi, yang ditentukan secara acak dengan cara pengundian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes three tier diagnostic test atau tes tiga tingkatan. Tahap analisis menerangkan 1) Kevalidan, diamati dari perangkat pembelajaran yang disusun dan divalidasikan oleh validator ahli melalui lembar validasi mendapat skor 3,52 dalam kategori “Valid”; 2) Kepraktisan, dilihat dari keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang diperoleh dari pengamatan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran didapati skor dengan persentase pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 90% sedangkan kelas replikasi adalah 89,25% artinya, kedua kelas yang digunakan memiliki persentase tinggi dan masuk pada kategori “sangat baik”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kelayakan dan kualitas perangkat pembelajaran Model inquiry based learning (IBL) memenuhi aspek “valid dan praktis’ dan dapat digunakan untuk pembelajaran dikelas.

Abstract

Community empowerment is an effort to increase the power or strength of the community by providing encouragement, opportunities, opportunities, and protection by not regulating and controlling community activities that are empowered to develop their potential so that the community can increase their abilities and actualize themselves or participate through various activities. Community empowerment is basically a process of growth and development of community power to be involved in various aspects of development in an area. With the empowerment can release the community from backwardness. The purpose of this activity is to provide motivation for out-of-school children to be able to return to school through empowerment and mentoring activities based on motivational and non-academic classroom learning. This activity is expected to be useful for out-of-school children so that they can participate in activities well and receive learning materials through guidance by KKN students and can produce recommendations for forms of activities to the government in order to minimize the dropout rate. The expected result of this activity is the presence of data on children dropping out of school so that educational problems in the village are resolved. Increasing the capacity of village officials in the preparation and use of digitalized village data platforms to realize a digitized village. Pemberdayaan masyarakat adalah upaya untuk meningkatkan daya atau kekuatan pada masyarakat dengan cara memberi dorongan, peluang, kesempatan, dan perlindungan dengan tidak mengatur dan mengendalikan kegiatan masyarakat yang diberdayakan untuk mengembangkan potensinya sehingga masyarakat tersebut dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan mengaktualisasikan diri atau berpartisipasi melalui berbagai aktivitas. Pemberdayaan masyarakat pada dasarnya adalah suatu proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan kekuatan masyarakat untuk ikut terlibat dalam berbagai aspek pembangunan di suatu wilayah. Dengan adanya pemberdayaan bisa melepaskan masyarakat dari keterbelakangan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah pemberian motivasi bagi anak-anak putus sekolah untuk dapat kembali ke sekolah melalui kegiatan pemberdayaan dan pendampingan berbasis pembelajaran kelas motivasi dan non akademik. Kegiatan ini diharapkan bermanfaat untuk anak-anak putus sekolah sehingga mengikuti kegiatan dengan baik dan menerima materi pembelajaran melalui bimbingan oleh mahasiswa KKN dan dapat menghasilkan rekomendasi bentuk-bentuk kegiatan kepada pemerintah guna meminimalisir angka putus sekolah. Hasil yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini adalah terdapatnya data anak putus sekolah sehingga permasalahan pendidikan di desa teratasi. Peningkatan kemampuan aparat desa dalam penyusunan dan penggunaan platform data desa secara digitalisasi untuk mewujudkan desa digitalisasi.

Abstract

This research aims to develop digital pocket book learning media based on animation on circulatory system material, as well as describing the suitability of the media in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. This research method uses Research and Development (R&D) research according to Brog and Hall. In this research, it was carried out in a limited trial, the subjects for the trial were 22 students in class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Telaga. The results of this research are: 1) Validity of learning media which consists of validation of material experts and media experts. Material expert validation consisting of 83% introductory aspects, 96% learning material, and 100% conclusion with very feasible criteria. Meanwhile, the validity of media experts with assessment aspects consisting of 100% application introduction, 100% appearance, 88% end of application, and 100% linguistics obtained the criteria, namely very feasible. 2) Practicality is seen from the implementation of teacher and student activities. The implementation results at the first meeting obtained a percentage of 100% with very good criteria, at the second meeting they obtained 89% -100% with very good criteria. Meanwhile, students' activities at the first meeting obtained a percentage score of 67% -89% with good and very good criteria, at the second meeting they obtained 78% -89% with good and very good criteria. 3) Effectiveness in terms of student learning outcomes obtained a total n-gain of 15.80 with an average n-gain of 0.72 obtaining high criteria.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are very important as a benchmark for success in the learning process. This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on improving student learning outcomes in the material of classification of living things at SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa. The method used is Quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class VII A as the experimental class and class VII C as the control class, which were selected by random sampling. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test of 15 questions. The pretest results showed an average learning outcome of students in the experimental class of 49.8 and the control class of 50.2. After learning, the posttest results increased to 84.3 for the experimental class and 72.1 for the control class. The N-gain value of the experimental class was in the medium-high category with an average of 0.68, while the control class was in the medium category with an average of 0.44. The t-test results showed t-table, namely 5.62 ˃ 2.00 (at a significance level of 0.05), which means that there is a significant difference between the learning outcomes of students using the PBL model and those using the Discovery Learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that the PBL model-based learning has a positive and significant influence on student learning outcomes in the material on the classification of living things.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam riset ini adalah untuk menyelidiki apakah terdapat dampak penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT terhadap pencapaian studi siswa pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup (suatu penelitian pada murid kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Quasy Experimental Design dengan desain Pretest and Posttest Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini ialah murid kelas VII-I dengan jumlah 27 murid untuk kelas eksperimen, dan kelas VII-II berjumlah 23 murid untuk kelas kontrol. Riset ini menggunakan sistem pengumpulan data menggunakan percobaan berupa soal pilihan ganda. sistem analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dengan percobaan validitas, percoban reliabilitas, percobaan normalitas yang menggunakan rumus Kolmogorov-Smirnov, dan percobaan homogenitas, dan percobaan hipotesisnya menggunakan percobaan -t. Berdasarkan hasil kalkulasi diperoleh thitung = 2.319 dan ttabel = 2.010, karena thitung > ttabel maka H_(0 )dan H_1diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan model penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) pada materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup berpengaruh pada hasil belajar murid kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Suwawa.

Abstract

A teaching module is a learning tool or design based on a curriculum applied to achieve predetermined competency standards. This research aims to use the ADDIE development model to produce a science teaching module based on search, solve, crate and share (SSCS) on valid, practical and effective living things classification concepts. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Molibagu involving 24 students in Class VII C. The study showed that the results of validating the Science Teaching Module (STM) based on SSCS from experts achieved a score of 90%, which was included in the very valid category and suitable for use in learning. The practicality of the STM based on SSCS as shown by the implementation of learning during two meetings with a percentage of 93% and included in the very good category, student response reached 81.2% with very good criteria, and student activity with a percentage of 85.5% with good criteria. The effectiveness of the STM based on SSCS is shown by the results of the analysis of learning outcomes tests by obtaining N-Gain values 0.78 with high criteria. Thus, it is concluded that the concept of STM based on SSCS in the living things classification concept has valid, practical, and effective criteria. The research of STM based on SSCS is expected to be developed in other material concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian Ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan produk media pembelajaran e-tata surya berbantuan Smart Apps Creator pada materi sistem tata surya yang memenuhi kriteria kualitas dari segi Validitas, Kepraktisan, dan Keefektifan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development/R&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4-D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). Subjek penelitian adalah 9 orang peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Kabila Kabupaten Bone Bolango, Provinsi Gorontalo. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) hasil validasi media pembelajaran e-tata surya berbantuan Smart Apps Creator oleh dua validator memperoleh nilai rata-rata 96.88% memenuhi kriteria Valid dan bisa digunakan; (2) Aspek kepraktisan menunjukan bahwa observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata presentase 84% dengan kriteria “Baik” ; dan (3) Aspek keefektifan ditentukan melalui aktivitas siswa yang mencapai 84.66% dengan kriteria sangat baik dan hasil belajar untuk ranah kognitif pada materi sistem tata surya  mencapai nilai N-gain sebesar 0,63 termasuk dalam kategori sedang Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan media pembelajaran e-tata surya berbantuan Smart Apps Creator pada materi sistem tata surya di SMP Negeri 2 Kabila telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa media pembelajaran e-tata surya berbantuan Smart Apps Creator ini layak untuk digunakan dan diimplementasikan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the learning cycle 5e learning model assisted by PhET media on student learning outcomes in the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke's law. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Tapa in class XI during the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year, with a population of students in class XI IPA. The research subjects were class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and XI IPA 2 as the control class, totaling 42 people. XI IPA 1 was taught using a learning cycle model assisted by PhET media, while XI IPA 2 was taught using a conventional learning model. The method used in this study was an experimental method with a research design using a pretest-posttest control group design. The variables in this study were independent and dependent variables. The instrument used was a written essay test to measure the level of student learning outcomes on elasticity and Hooke's law. Sampling in this study was done using a cluster random sampling technique. The data analysis techniques used in this research included data normality test, homogeneity test, hypothesis test, and n-gain test. The results showed that the average pretest value in the experimental class was 43.6, while in the control class it was 37.7. After treatment in each class, the posttest average values were 69.6 in the experimental class and 58.1 in the control class. Based on the results of testing the hypothesis, it was found that tcount = 6.26 ≥ ttable = 2.02, indicating that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. This demonstrates that learning using the learning cycle 5e learning model assisted by PhET media has a significant effect on student learning outcomes. The increase in student learning outcomes can be seen in the n-gain test analysis, with the experimental and control classes obtaining scores of 0.6 and 0.5 respectively, indicating moderate n-gain criteria. This means that the treatment given has an influence on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local Gorontalo cultural values ​​on the learning outcomes of simple aircraft concepts. This research is experimental, with the research design being a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study was all class VIII of SMP Negeri 8 Paguyaman for the 2023/2024 academic year. Research data was collected using test techniques. Then, the data was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics, including normality tests, hypothesis tests, and n-gain analysis. The average score for all sample classes for class VIII students is greater than the minimum completion criteria (MCC), as shown by the average score for the experimental class of 81.97, replication class 1 of 80.91, and replication class 2 of 80.15, compared to the MCC of 75. Based on the course results, the average normalized gain obtained by the experimental class was 0.69, replication class 1 was 0.68, and replication class 2 was 0.68, meaning that all sample classes are in the medium category. Thus, the PjBL model based on local Gorontalo cultural values ​​has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in simple aircraft concepts
