Abstract

Masalah penelitian ini adalah siswi SMA N 10 Padang dengan berat badan berlebih memiliki denyut nadi istirahat yang buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan aerobik terhadap penurunan denyut nadi istirahat pada siswi SMA N 10 Padang dengan berat badan berlebih. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu yang di lakukan di G sport center Gunung Pangilun kota Padang dari tanggal 14 Agustus 2020 sampai dengan 18 september 2020. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah siswi SMA N 10 Padang dengan berat badan berlebih yang berjumlah 10 orang dan diberikan pelakuan sebanyak 16 kali latihan. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan puls meter test. Data yang telah terkumpul di gunakan untuk menguji hipotesis yang menggunakan uji-t, sebelum uji-t di lakukan terlebih dahulu uji persyaratan anlisis yaitu uji liliefors. Dari hasil uji hipotesis yang menggunakan statistik uji-t dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut : bentuk latihan menggunakan sepeda statis berpengaruh tehadap penurunan denyut nadi istirahat siswi SMA N 10 Padang dengan berat badan berlebih dengan thitung 4,43 > t tabel 2,228. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis, bentuk latihan menggunakan sepeda statis yang diberikan kepada sampel member pengaruh dalam usaha menurunkan denyut nadi istirahat pada sisiwi SMA N 10 Padang dengan berat badan berlebih, oleh sebab itu agar dapat menjalankan latihan aerobik dengan baik dan sungguh-sungguh.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini diduga rendahnya kemampuan groundstroke tenis lapangan yang di sebabkan oleh banyak hal, diantaranya metode pembelajaran yang belum sesuai dan tepat digunakan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran global dan elementer (X), terhadap kemampuan groundstroke (Y). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment atau exsperimen semu desain pada penelitian ini pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini mahasiswa tenis lapangan dasar FIK UNP berjumlah 20 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan adanya pengaruh latihan metode pembelajaran global terhadap kemampuan groundstroke tenis lapangan mahasiswa FIK UNP sebesar thitung 20,686 sedangkan t tabel sebesar 2,262 dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Berdasarkan pengambilan keputusan diatas maka t hitung > t tabel (20,686 > 2,262). Metode pembelajaran global lebih efektif dari metode pembelajaran elemeneter di lihat dari hasil uji hipotesis ketiga sebesar sebesar thitung 2,870 sedangkan ttabel sebesar 2,093 dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Berdasarkan pengambilan keputusan diatas maka thitung > ttabel (2,870 > 2,093). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis yang menunjukkan Ha diterima karena thitung > t tabel, dan dapat dikatakan bahwa metode pembelajaran global lebih efektif dari metode pembelajaran elementer.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyzed the effect of professional and social competences as a main competency component which give effect toward the physical educators performance. The performance assessment as an urgent mechanism to push desirable behavior of teacher based on Teacher Act. This research using correlational design with associative causal methods for collecting an information from 67 sample, which was an high school physical educator in Padang city West Sumatra. The data collected by questionnaire focus grup discussion. To account the effect of this study, researchers using IBM SPSS software. The result shows there is the differences between male and female teachers on professional and social competences with the physical educators performance. The power of direct effect identified that significantly giving positive f effect toward physical educators performance. For that reason, professional and social competence becoming the main factor in achievement of physical educators teachers.

Abstract

The goals of this research was to analyze the Influence of pedagogic and professional competencies, and its effect on the performance of the Physical Education teacher of the Elementary School level in Padang, West Sumatra. This study applies the causal associative method, and uses  54 samples. The data collection techniques  using tests and questionnaires. The data is processed by using the IBM SPSS software application. The result of this research shows  that from 54 physical education teachers who have competence in the poor category, 63.45%, consisting of pedagogic competence 64.87% is in the less category, and 64.43% professional competence is in the less category. For male teachers, pedagogic and professional competencies are correlated with teacher performance. The data also shows that there are differences in the relationship and influence between the pedagogic and professional teachers of male and female teachers. Based on the analysis, we could make the conclusion that the pedagogical and professional components are the main factors regarding the success of the performance of physical education teachers  at the elementary school level in the city of Padang, West Sumatera.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyzed the performance of sports education teachers of Senior High school on education. The Educational system in the word had been adopted the performance assessment as an urgent mechanism to push desirable and modelling behavior among teachers as accountable object from Professional Competency, social and personality. This is considered as a survey research using descriptive method. The data is collected from 88 senior high school teacher in Padang city. The data was collected by using by questionnaire and group focused. The data analyzed by table and theme. The result of the research shows that the professional competencies in medium range categories , and social competencies in good categories. From this result, we highly recommended that assessment for the sport education teacher has to be based on the frame of development professional competencies, social and professional to enhance the education quality in Senior High School.

Abstract

The problem of the research was student’s lack forehand drive ability that resulting  less points obtained while playing or hitting the ball.  This research aimed to  identify  factors that causally and positively effecting the student’s forehand drive  performance, namely back swing and forward swing phases.  This study involved 31 male student’s who learning tennis subject in Sport Science Faculty, Padang State University. The samples  tested using Broer-Miller-Tennis Test, and observed by judge. The data was analyzed by using Regression Analysis utilizing IBM SPSS software. To find out the causal factors which independently and dependently influence each variable, it is used the significance level <0.05  The results shos that Backswing had significant and positive effect on the accuracy of the forehand drive (p <0.05) . The significance level was p <0.05  or H0 was rejected. Furthermore, Forwardswing had significant and positive effect on the accuracy of the forehand drive (p <0.05) or H0 is rejected.   The results of the study show that there is a positive causal effect of backswing and forwardswing on athlete's forehand drive performance.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to develop and standardize an instrument of pedagogical and professional competency for Physical Education teachers at elementary school level. Based on Law No. 14 of 2002, teachers in Indonesia are required to master four competencies, namely: pedagogy, professional, personality and social. Currently, there are only few numbers of standardized instruments to test these four competencies. Thus, this study aims at developing and standardizing a pedagogical and professional competency instrument in a form of a test. This study applied a procedural research and development (RnD) model using the following steps: research and collection preliminary, research planning, early product development, expert validation, product revision, early test, product revision, field test, final product revision and mass product manufacture. The test subjects in this study were physical education teachers at the elementary school level. Based on data from Education Authorites in Padang, the total population in this study was 480 people and the sample was taken purposively. During the early test, it was carried out to 20 samples and during the field test, it was carried out on 20% of the total population, namely 84 people. Standardization of the instrument was carried out by conducting several analysis, namely: validity, reliability, item difficulty level, item discriminating power, practicality test, and effectiveness. Data were processed using IBM SPSS statistical program with p < 0.05. Based on the results of processing and processing, a standardized instrument that can measure pedagogical and professional competence for Physical Education teachers was successfully made.

Abstract

Masalah yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini adalah belum ditemukannya instrumen baku untuk menguji kompetensi guru Penjasorkes tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan membakukan alat untk menguji kompetensi guru Penjasorkes tingkat Sekolah Dasar, khusus pada kompetensi kepribadian dan Sosial. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model prosedural, yang mempunyai beberapa langkah dalam proses pembakuannya, sampai tercipta sebuah instrumen tes baku untuk mengukur kedua kompetensi kepribadian dan kompetensi sosial. Subjek ujicoba dalam penelitian iniadalah guru-guru Penjasorkes di Kota Padang. Berdasarkan data, guru Penjasorkes tingkat Sekolah Dasar di Kota Padang berjumlah 480 orang. Proses pembakuan dilakukan dengan beberapa tahapan. Pada ujicoba terbatas, dilakukan ujicoba terhadap 20 orang sampel. Pada tahap ujicoba luas, dilakukan terhadap 84 orang sampel. Setelah itu dilakukan uji praktikalitas dan uji efektifitas. Seluruh data diolah dengan menggunakanprogram IBM SPSS dengan p < 0.05. Dari hasil tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan, terciptalah sebuah instrumen baku yang dapat mengukur kompetensi kepribadian, dan sosial untuk guru Penjasorkes tingkat Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low performance of teachers of Physical Education, Sports and Health (PJOK) in SMP Negeri Se Kota Sungai Penuh. This study aims to determine the effect of Professional Competence, Pedagogic Competence and Work Discipline on the Performance of Physical Education Teachers. The type of research is quantitative using correlation research design with causal associative method. The sample in this study amounted to 28 physical education teachers. Sampling using total sampling technique. Data were collected using measurements of the three variables, namely, using tests for pedagogic and professional variables, and work discipline and teacher performance using existing data. Data were analyzed by path analysis (Path Analysis). Based on the results of data analysis shows that: (1) There is a direct influence between professional competence on the performance of teachers in Physical Education, Sports and Health by 15.8%. (2) There is a direct influence between pedagogic competence on the Performance of Physical Education and Sports Education teachers by 19% (3) There is a direct influence between work discipline on the Performance of Physical Education and Sports Teachers by 19.1%, (4) There is no direct effect between professional competence and pedagogic competence. (5) There is an indirect effect of professional competence on the performance of Physical Education and Health teachers through work discipline of 17.4%, (6) There is no indirect effect of pedagogic competence on the Performance of Physical Education and Health teachers through work discipline.
