Abstract

This research aims  to analyze: the management of the broiler chicken poultry production of independent supervision, semi-independent and partnership, the cost of goods broiler production independent supervision, semi-independent and partnership in Purwoasri Village North Metro District Metro City and in Kedaton 2 Village Batang Hari Nuban District regency of East Lampung. This research was conducted in October until November 2013. Primary and secondary data were collected in this reserch. The amount of research respondents were three people, who were an independent poultry, semi-independent and partnership. The methods of data analysis used in this research was descriptive, qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results showed that (1) the management of the broiler chicken production with the supervision of partnership was the best with scores 132 higher than the semi-independent and independent supervision. Some of excellence management production partnership supervision were the application of the cleaning system equipment enclosure, transportation of DOC, admission of DOC process to the cage, preservation of the cage, giving the woof and handling of harvest item (2) the highest cost of goods production per kilogram of broiler chicken was the poultry with partnership supervision Rp13,531.00/kg, whereas the poultry with independent supervision was Rp13,496.36 and the poultry with semi-independent supervision was Rp13,109.67/kg. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the main production cost of probiotic and non probiotic broilers, the profit of probiotic and non probiotic broilers business, and the influencing factors on the demand of probiotic broilers. The research data was collected in September 2014.  The research was conducted in Central Metro and North Metro Subdistrict of Metro City.  These locations were chosen purposively and the samples were drawn by purposive sampling method.  Samples consisted of eight broilers breeders and 33 consumers of probiotic broilers.  The data was analyzed quantitatively by   full costing and variable costing methods to the main production cost and profit, and multiple linear regression analysis for the influencing factors on the demand. The results of this research showed that the main production cost of probiotic broilers was higher than non probiotic broilers.  The full costing method showed that the main production cost of probiotic broilers and non probiotic broilers were Rp16,329.06 and Rp15,824.37.  The variable costing method showed that the main production cost of probiotic broilers and non probiotic broilers were Rp15,409.74 and Rp14,932.55.  The profit of probiotic broilers was lower than non probiotic broilers, which was probiotic broilers Rp922,542.19 and non probiotic broilers Rp1,238,754.05.  The factors which influenced the demand of probiotic broilers were the price of probiotic broilers, price of non probiotic broilers, price of range chickens, number of family members, and health knowledge. Abstract

This research aimed to assess the income, the risk of farming, and the correlation risk toward income of ginger farming.  This research was conducted by survey method, involving 60 farmer respondents with four years farming experiences.  The data of this research was collected in Juni – Juli 2016.  The third objective was analyzed by multiple linear regression and the other analysis used in this research was descriptive and quantitative analysis.  The results showed that the income of ginger farming was Rp28,038,043.74/ha and the value of R/C on total cost 1.68. The risk of ginger farming was on high category in which CV value was 0.51.  The risk of ginger farming had significantly influence the income.Key words: ginger, income, production, risk

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the implementation, analyze the effectiveness of the implementation, the welfare and income of beneficiaries, the relationship between effectiveness of Rastra and BPNT in addition to the level of income and welfare of beneficiary families in Yukum Jaya Village. The research was conducted by survey method, include location was determined purposively of Yukum Jaya Village. The data was analized qualitative, effectiveness analysis methods, household income, welfare according to the BKKBN and Rank Spearman test. The results showed that the distribution of Rastra and BPNT has not fully complied with the regulations set by Ministry of Social Affairs. The effectiveness of Rastra and BPNT was not effective. The highest average income of Rastra was earned by 7 entrepreneurs in which average income month was Rp5,842,105 and the lowest income was earned by a laundry worker and clothes iron Rp378,947. The highest income of BPNT was earned by 10 vegetables trader with an average income/month of Rp6,659,032 and the lowest income was a tofu trader with an average income/month of Rp587,097. The welfare level of the respondents Rastra was in the stage of prosperous family II (KS II) and prosperous family III (KS III) of BPNT was classified on prosperous family stage III (KS III). There was no positive relationship between the effectiveness of Rastra and BPNT program and the level of income and welfare of beneficiary families.Key words: BPNT, effectiveness, income, Rastra, welfare

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the pattern of food consumption, the pattern of processed local food consumption, and factors that affected the pattern of household food consumption in Pringsewu district.  This research was conducted by survey method.  Location of this research was determined purposively in Margosari Village North Pagelaran subdistrict as program implementers and Mulyorejo Village Banyumas subdistrict are not program implementers.  The amount of research samples in this research was as many as 74 households who were selected by simple random sampling.  The data was collected in month of Apri-May 2017. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistic analysis, and verification analysis by demand consumption function model.  The result showed that the amount of energy consumption of Margosari village was 5,474.17 kcal/household/day and household energy consumption of Mulyorejo village was 4,745.22 kcal/household/day with their Desirable Dietary Pattern (DDP) score 78.24 and 68.96.  Fried bananas was locally processed food sources of energy consumed and have the largest consumption frequency.  Cassava was a local food that has the most processed product.  Most of household got the processed local food by making them self.  The pattern of household food consumption in Pringsewu district was influenced by the household income and number of household’s member.Key words: consumtion pattern, Desirable Dietary Pattern (DDP) score, local food

Abstract

This reseacrh aimed at analyzing the implementation of coffee certification, effect of coffee certification on the use of labor and income structure of coffee farmers. This research was conducted in West Lampung District in which data was collected from November 2016 to February 2017 by survey technique. The samples size in this research were 124 respondents, consisting of certification and non certification farmers. The data was analyzed by implementation of 4C certification, the use of labor, and farm income analysis. The results of the study showed that implementation of coffee certification has not been fully implemented, there was insignificant difference in the use of labor between certification and non certification coffee farmers, and there was insignificant difference in farm income between certification and non certification coffee farmers.  The total income of certified and non-certified coffee farmer households were Rp35,724,221 and Rp30,717,102; whereas, contribution of coffee farm income to certified and non certified farmers were 72.62% and 69.28%.Key words : certification, coffee, income, labour

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income level and the efficiency of rice farming that joining the warehouse receipt system and non warehouse receipt system, and identify contributing factors and  inhibiting factors to the implementation of warehouse receipt system  for rice farmers. This research was conducted in Pulau Panggung Sub District of Tanggamus Regency which data was collected in April 2016. The sample was selected by census technique method  for the farmers who are joining the warehouse receipt system and simple random sampling method for the farmers who are not joining the warehouse receipt system. The data was analyzed by farm  income analysis and Decision Matrix Analysis (DMA). The results of this research showed that the income of farmers who were joining the warehouse receipt system was higher than farmers who were not joining the warehouse receipt system. The total income of farmers who were joining the warehouse receipt system was Rp5,148,487.78  in the first planting season and Rp7,120,807.78 in the second planting season, while the total income of farmers who were not joining the warehouse receipt system was Rp3,881,849.76 and 5,029,974.72 respectively. The farmer influencing factor on joining the warehouse receipt system was the cost was cheap, while influencing factor on unjoining the warehouse receipt system was the low socialization to farmers. Key words : farm income, rice, warehouse receipt system

Abstract

This research aims to predict the trades of Indonesian coffee in the international market for the next decade.This research used secondary data, specifically the export volume of robusta coffee from 1975 to 2011.Forecasting process was done by using the method of linear time series analysis with ARIMA models. Theresults showed that the model for maximum export volume of robusta coffee was Yt = Yt-1 + 6.646 – 0.5028(Wt-1 – Wt-2) – 0,4134 (Wt-2 – Wt-3) + et.. It was predicted in the next 10 years, from 2012 to 2021, the exportvolume of the Indonesian coffee will increase. The growth of the export volume of robusta coffee will be1.6% each year. Finally, in 2021 the export volume of robusta coffee will reach 493.295 tons.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze consumen’s behavior and strategies in the development of siger rice agroindustry. This research used a case study method.The samples are stakeholder on agroindustry and consumen of siger rice. Technique sampling for consumers is snowballing.  The method of data analyzes used descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis. The results of this research showed that: The consumen’s satisfaction that seen from the repay of siger rice product and consumers have information and knowledge about the characteristics of siger rice, Combination value IFE was 0.19 and value of EFE was-0.05 in the IE matrix shows that the position the businessin quadran II. Its mean the agroindustry are in the a readiversification. The best priority strategies for developing the agroindustry are in creasing the capital of agroindustry from agroindustry fund and government institutions to fullfill the demand of siger rice.                                                                                                                        Key words: consumen, development strategy, siger rice, SWOT analysis

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of industry sub-sectors of agriculture and forestry product processing in Bandar Lampung on the theory of the economic base. The data used were secondary data from various institutions which was analyzed by analytical tools of location quotient (LQ), and the multiplier effect. The research results showed that the manufacture as sub-sectors of agriculture and forestry in Bandar Lampung has a value of LQ > 1 in which  average was 1.3654 (Base).  The role of the industry sub-sectors of agriculture and forestry product processing in Bandar Lampung was in the economic base region.  Any change in the average income of Rp1, the subsector of agriculture and forestry product processing could increase the total revenue of Rp5.90. The average change in total revenues in Bandar Lampung in the year of 2006-2010 amounted to Rp374,619,000,000. It is suggested that the manufacturing subsector is more developed together with the community and all policy holders in Bandar Lampung industry sub sectors, namely food, beverages, and tobacco, due to its rapid growth and competitiveness. In addition, to improve the economic could also be one of the tourist attractions in Bandar Lampung as the city's of “Tapis Berseri”.
