Abstract

Literasi merupakan bagian penting pada Capaian Pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini fase Fondasi dimana disebutkan pada sub elemen bahwa anak memiliki kemampuan literasi dasar, anak menunjukkan minat, kegemaran, dan berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pramembaca dan pramenulis. Capaian pembelajaran merupakan hasil akhir yang akan di raih anak selama menempuh fasenya. Dari beberapa survey di sekolah menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan literasi masih sebatas pengenalan huruf (47%), hanya sebatas buku bacaan (36%) mulai mengenal home reading (20%). Home reading adalah kegiatan membacakan buku cerita untuk anak oleh para orang tua atau pengasuhnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui capaian literasi dasar pada anak usia 4 -6 tahun melalui aktivitas reading atau membaca. Subyek penelitian adalah anak usia 4 – 6 tahun. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah systematic literature review. Kebaruan penelitian ini adalah pelibatan orang tua sebagai mitra terbaik sekolah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dasar anak usia 4 – 6 tahun melalui membacakan buku cerita di rumah.

Abstract

Flood periods require special attention, particularly in affected areas such as Pasuruhan Village, Kayen, Pati, which experiences annual flooding. This event disrupts public facilities, including education services. RA Al Huda faced a two-month hiatus in learning activities during the flood, leaving early childhood students (ages 4–6) to play at home without structured learning. Creativity in teaching mathematics, science, and technology (MST) for early childhood education became a critical innovation in a community service program under the KOSABANGSA 2024 initiative by DRTPM Kemendikbudristek. This program was implemented by the Universitas Ivet team in collaboration with Universitas Negeri Semarang as the advisory team. The initiative aims to develop learning media to sustain education during floods. The implementation strategy involves management and social empowerment aspects, including flood-period management for early childhood education, parenting programs, and partnerships with parents. The development of this community service project follows the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The study sample consists of the principal and teachers of RA Al Huda Pasuruhan, Kayen, Pati, along with parents. The innovation was validated by experts, achieving a score of 3.59 in the "excellent" category. The outcomes of this community service include enhanced management capabilities and social empowerment for teachers and parents in implementing creative MST learning media for early childhood education during flood periods. The novelty of this project lies in the technological innovation of learning media specifically designed for early childhood education during floods.

Abstract

The fulfilment of logistical needs during floods is vital to address challenges such as access to clean water, medicines, drinking water, and hygienic ready-to-eat food. Desa Pasuruhan, located in Kayen Subdistrict, Pati Regency, faces unavoidable flooding every rainy season. Surrounded by the Kendeng mountains, the village's water source contains limestone, making it unfit for consumption. To mitigate these challenges, the Kosabangsa team from Universitas Ivet conducted a disaster education program from September to December 2024. The program targeted the village’s youth group (Karang Taruna Bina Sejahtera) to prepare the community for recurring floods. Materials included disaster mitigation guides and educational pocketbooks for various age groups, distributed through micro-teaching sessions, both in- person and online. An innovative disaster service website was also launched as part of the initiative, providing access to disaster education resources. This platform offers a scalable solution for broader applications, combining tailored theoretical knowledge with the specific needs of the region. Accessible to both local residents and the public, it represents a unique integration of education and technology, showcasing its potential to address disaster challenges through digital marketing strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap faktor-faktor penyebab gifted pada anak usia dini melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Giftedness merupakan fenomena kompleks yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai aspek seperti faktor genetik, lingkungan, serta interaksi antara anak dan lingkungan sekitarnya. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan SLR yang merujuk pada pendidik PRISMA, studi ini mengidentifikasi temuan-temuan utama dari berbagai publikasi ilmiah yang relevan dari tahun 2013 hingga 2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor stimulasi lingkungan, keterlibatan orang tua, dan dukungan dari sekolah memainkan peranan penting dalam mengembangkan potensi gifted anak usia dini. Implikasi dari hasil ini diharapkan dapat memberikan arahan dalam pengembangan kebijakan dan strategi pendidikan anak gifted di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis proses internalisasi nilai moral agama dalam pola asuh orang tua pada keluarga Muslim di wilayah perkotaan. Internalisasi nilai moral agama merupakan proses transformasi nilai-nilai keagamaan dari luar ke dalam diri individu melalui pendidikan dan pembiasaan dalam keluarga. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus terhadap 15 keluarga Muslim yang memiliki anak usia dini di Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Kecamatan Gajahmungkur. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses internalisasi nilai moral agama dalam pola asuh orang tua meliputi tiga tahapan utama: transformasi nilai, transaksi nilai, dan transinternalisasi nilai. Strategi yang digunakan orang tua meliputi keteladanan (qudwah hasanah), pembiasaan (habituation), dialog interaktif, dan penguatan positif. Faktor pendukung internalisasi meliputi komitmen religius orang tua, lingkungan keluarga yang kondusif, dan dukungan institusi pendidikan. Adapun faktor penghambat meliputi pengaruh media sosial, pergaulan negatif, dan keterbatasan waktu orang tua. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam pengembangan konsep pola asuh berbasis nilai moral agama Islam dan implikasi praktis bagi pendidikan karakter anak usia dini di lingkungan keluarga Muslim perkotaan.

Abstract

Pembelajaran sosial emosional pada anak usia dini merupakan salah satu aspek krusial yang berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter, keterampilan sosial, dan kemampuan pengelolaan emosi anak. Usia dini adalah periode emas (golden age) di mana perkembangan anak berlangsung pesat, sehingga stimulasi yang tepat akan memberikan dampak positif jangka panjang terhadap kesiapan anak dalam kehidupan sosial maupun akademik. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di TK Aisyah Bustanul Atfal 5 Salatiga dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan guru serta orang tua dalam memberikan layanan dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran sosial emosional. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi awal untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan interaktif yang mencakup materi tentang konsep dasar sosial emosional dan strategi pengajarannya, pendampingan guru dalam mengintegrasikan keterampilan tersebut ke dalam kegiatan belajar, serta evaluasi terhadap efektivitas program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada kemampuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran berbasis bermain, bercerita, dan interaksi positif yang mendukung perkembangan sosial emosional. Selain itu, orang tua juga lebih memahami perannya dalam menumbuhkan keterampilan sosial dan emosional anak di rumah. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif menjadi kunci keberhasilan pembelajaran sosial emosional pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Background: The development of a curriculum alignment management guide for Early Childhood Education (ECE) is essential to support curriculum adaptation in non-formal institutions such as Playgroups (KB) and Kindergartens (TK). In the context of curriculum changes, it is necessary to have a curriculum alignment model accompanied by effective management practices, ensuring that the adaptation process can be implemented systematically and effectively. Research Urgency: Curriculum changes at the ECE level require non-formal educational institutions, particularly KB and TK, to make curriculum adjustments. However, there is a lack of strategic and implementable management guides to support this process, especially for institutions that are unaccredited or minimally accredited. Thus, a valid and practical model guide is urgently needed. Research Objectives: This research aims to develop a curriculum alignment model for ECE equipped with a sound management guide, and to validate its feasibility for use by Heads of KB and TK in adapting the old curriculum to the new one. Research Method: The method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Validation was conducted by two experts in the fields of language and curriculum management content to assess the strategic and implementative feasibility of the guide. Research Findings: The validation results showed a score of 4.4 for the language aspect and 4.0 for the management substance aspect, both categorized as very good. The trial implementation involving Heads of KB and TK in Tayu District, Pati Regency, resulted in an acceptance rate of 80.35%, which also falls into the very good category. Research Conclusion: The developed curriculum alignment model is feasible for use as a guide in aligning the PAUD curriculum. It provides strategic and implementative direction for carrying out curriculum adaptation within non-formal education institutions. Research Novelty/Contribution: This research introduces a new contribution in the form of a curriculum alignment management guide for ECE that is both strategic and implementable. It offers practical support for Heads of KB and TK, especially those with minimal or no accreditation, to manage curriculum changes in a more structured and effective manner.

Abstract

Early numeracy refers to the ability to think critically using mathematical concepts, procedures, facts, and tools to solve everyday problems in various relevant contexts for early childhood. This study aims to develop early numeracy practices for young children through deep learning approaches. The subjects of this research are 60 Kindergarten students, divided into two developmental stages: 4–5 years old and 5–6 years old. The study employed a development research method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data was collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and numeracy performance assessments tailored to the children’s cognitive stages. The data were analyzed using both qualitative techniques to evaluate the effectiveness and developmental appropriateness of the numeracy practices. The result of this study is a validated early numeracy product that aligns with children's levels of cognitive development: knowing, applying, and reasoning. This product is adapted to each age group to ensure developmental suitability. The novelty of this research lies in the implementation of early numeracy through deep learning, which integrates meaningful, mindful, and joyful learning strategies to enhance young children’s mathematical understanding. Future research is recommended to explore the scalability of this model in various cultural and socio-economic contexts, as well as to examine its long-term impact on children's mathematical thinking beyond the kindergarten years.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of virtual reality media on student learning outcomes seen from the value of the effect size of published studies. This study used the meta-analysis method, with a group contrast design from experimental research and quasi-experiments that had experimental groups and control groups. The database used is the SCOPUS database. The Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) method determines articles. Data collection is carried out by collecting article metadata with specific keywords that have been determined. The article metadata obtained is then sorted based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. The next step is to download a PDF of the article that matches the criteria. The downloaded PDF is tabulated to obtain statistical data in effect size calculations. Calculation of the effect size of each study and data analysis to prove research hypotheses using the R application version 4.2.0 and assisted by the RStudio. The results showed a Q value of 163.54 with a p-value of 0.0001 < α (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is heterogeneity from the observed data regarding the effectiveness of virtual reality media research on learning outcomes. An I2 value of 90.8% indicates substantial heterogeneity categories. For this reason, a random effect size model is used; The results showed a random effect size of 0.6285 with a p-value of 0.0001 < α (0.05). A value of 0.6285 indicates the influence is in the medium category; The results showed that there were differences in the effectiveness of the given continental differences (Q value = 8.24 and p-value 0.02 > α (0.05)). There was no significant difference in the effectiveness of virtual reality media on learning outcomes in terms of education level (Q = 7.39 and p-value 0.02 < α (0.05)); The results showed that the distribution of data showed symmetric, indicating that none of the studies were distorted or article bias occurred.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of digital application-based parenting management to optimize educational interactions between parents and early childhood children in Ngaliyan area, Semarang City. The digital era demands transformation of parenting patterns that are more adaptive and integrated with technology. This qualitative research involved 20 active PAUD schools as samples, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results showed that digital parenting applications can improve the quality of parent-child educational interactions by 73%, facilitate child development monitoring, and create learning continuity between home and school. The main challenges include low parental digital literacy (42%), limited internet access (28%), and resistance to changes in traditional parenting patterns (35%). The most effective applications integrate real-time communication features, child development tracking, educational content libraries, and expert consultations. This research recommends developing digital literacy programs for parents, providing adequate technology infrastructure, and continuous training to optimize the use of technology in parenting. Implementation of digital parenting management has proven to support the achievement of sustainable education goals that are responsive to the needs of digital native generations.
