Abstract

This study focuses on sustainable waste management efforts in Kaliabu Village, Magelang Regency, through socialization and practical training on compost production involving PKK members. The initiative aims to address household waste issues by promoting effective waste management solutions, such as composting organic waste. The training covered the selection of appropriate materials, preparation techniques, and maintenance methods to ensure high-quality compost production. The results showed that the compost produced after three weeks exhibited optimal characteristics, such as a crumbly texture, dark brown color, and a fresh earthy aroma. This initiative is expected to encourage active community participation in sustainable waste management while providing economic and environmental benefits.

Abstract

This class action research skill is very suitable to be developed in this new normal era because there are so many classroom problems that occur during online and hybrid learning. This community service program aims to help teachers improve the skills of preparing classroom action research proposals. The implementation method used in this PKM consists of interactive discussions, and practices. The results of this community service program include: improving the skills of teachers in compiling class action research proposals, scientific journal publications, mass media publications, draft class action research proposals, and IPR posters.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This research aims to develop and test the VARK learning style instrument in Citizenship Education Learning using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) to produce a valid, reliable and goodness of fit instrument for more accurate measurement of learning styles. Methodology: This study employs quantitative methods to evaluate the VARK learning styles theory in citizenship education through three primary phases: (1) assessing interrater validity to verify the construct's feasibility, (2) establishing empirical validity via Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) to examine the construct's effectiveness and reliability, and (3) utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) along with goodness-of-fit (GOF) analysis to determine the model's overall suitability. Main Findings: The findings of this research indicate that the VARK learning styles framework and related instruments in citizenship education are very suitable for measurement. The model meets the main criteria: (1) Inter-rater Validity Test confirms its validity, (2) Construct Validity Test using Confirmatory Factor Analysis shows validity and reliability, and (3) Goodness-of-Fit Test places the model in the acceptable fit category. So this instrument can be used to measure learning styles accurately. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this research lies in the development and instrument of VARK learning styles in Citizenship Education learning which was tested using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to produce a feasible and accurate instrument for measuring learning styles.

Abstract

This literature review explores the relationship between professional ethics and exemplary behavior from the perspective of Pancasila values, which are relevant in addressing the complexities of modern professionalism. Various moral issues, such as abuse of authority, weak integrity, and the crisis of exemplary behavior, demand a stronger ethical foundation rooted in the nation's noble values. This study uses a conceptual approach based on literature with a critical analysis of the literature on professional ethics, Pancasila values, and the practice of exemplary behavior from figures. The novelty of this article lies in the integration of professional ethics with Pancasila, which is not only positioned as a normative guideline, but also synthesized into a conceptual model of Pancasila-based professional ethics that emphasizes the integration of moral values, social responsibility, and exemplary behavior from figures. The main synthesis of the study confirms that the revitalization of Pancasila values ​​strengthens the moral foundation of the profession while offering a practical ethical framework that is contextual, adaptive, and relevant to global challenges. The practical implications of this study are the importance of implementing Pancasila-based professional ethics in professional education, character development of the younger generation, and the development of ethical leadership capable of building a society with integrity, justice, and civility.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enable teachers to understand and have the skills to write scientific papers. Based on the results of observations and interviews at MTs N 3 Magelang, teachers had difficulty writing proposals and reporting on classroom action research, from determining titles, problems, learning methods, research methods, and writing reports. The results of the workshop on writing classroom action research reports and scientific papers are that participants (teachers) have gained a better understanding of the material contained in classroom action research proposals (PTK). Second, participants have gained an understanding of how to prepare a PTK proposal and publish it in a service journal

Abstract

Penilaian hasil belajar pada mata kuliah umum yang telah dilaksanakan dalam pembelajaran telah dilakukan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Salah satu objek wisata tersebut tertuang dalam Rencana Pembelajaran Semester (RPS). Terdapat berbagai macam hasil belajar dari mata kuliah umum, sehingga peneliti ingin mengetahui penyusunan perencanaan, penilaian hasil belajar mata kuliah umum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran mata pelajaran umum (MKU) di Universitas Tidar berbasis e-learning. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah dosen MKU Universitas Tidar. Objek penelitian ini adalah evaluasi hasil belajar MKU di Universitas Tidari berbasis e-learning. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Tidar pada bulan Maret sampai September 2021. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dosen telah melaksanakan hasil belajar dengan memberikan pertanyaan atau konfirmasi, membuat instrumen, memberikan umpan balik dan memberikan umpan balik kepada mahasiswa yang berprestasi tinggi. Masih ada dosen yang mengevaluasi hasil belajar, tidak menyusun rubrik penilaian, memberikan tugas, dan memberikan umpan balik dengan kinerja rendah.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan memberikan tinjauan teoretik dan analisis kurikulum 2013 edisi revisi 2018 pada mata pelajaran PPKn dalam kontribusi pendidikan demokrasi di Indonesia. Suasana demokrasi Indonesia menjelang pemilihan umum 2019 memberikan pengalaman menarik bagi bangsa Indonesia. Intrik dan kusak kusuk politik praktis membahwa dampak pada sisi negatif seperti politic money, black campaign, isu hoax, saling bersingungan antar pendukung membuat suasana menjadi panas dan terjadinya konflik. Rendahnya pemahaman demokrasi mengakibatkan masyarakat mudah tersulut emosi dan konflik yang terjadi diakar rumput. Dari beberapa literature dan analisis kurikulum menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewarganegaran dengan pendidikan demokrasi memiliki kesamaan yaitu menanamkan dan memahamkan nilai prinsip, konsep, dan budaya demokrasi pada warga negara. Pada kurikulum 2013 edisi 2018 bahwa PPKn memiliki kompetensi yang berkaitan dengan pilar-pilar demokrasi. Kompetensi yang terdapat pada kurikulum pendidikan kewarganegaraan mengandung kesepuluh pilar demokrasi.
