Abstract

The community health center accreditation program is a government effort to continuously improve the quality of primary health care services. Accreditation emphasizes quality improvement, patient safety, and service performance. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the accreditation program in improving service quality at Community Health Center X. This study used a quantitative design with a cross-sectional approach. The research sample consisted of 50 respondents consisting of community health center patients, selected using accidental sampling techniques. Data were collected using a service quality questionnaire based on SERVQUAL dimensions. Data analysis used the Chi- Square test. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between the implementation of the accreditation program and the improvement of service quality at Community Health Center X with a p value <0.05. The conclusion of this study is that the accreditation program is effective in improving the quality of health services at Community Health Center X.

Abstract

Improper wound care at home can increase the risk of infection and slow the healing process. Families play a crucial role in wound care, especially for patients with chronic wounds or those following medical procedures. Modern wound care emphasizes the principles of hygiene, appropriate dressing use, and infection prevention. This Community Service activity aims to improve families' knowledge and skills in implementing modern wound care to prevent infection at home. Implementation methods included counseling, demonstrations, hands-on practice, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in families' knowledge and skills in performing safe wound care in accordance with modern principles. This training is expected to reduce the risk of wound infection and improve the quality of wound care at home.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Penyuluhan Kesehatan terhadap Pengetahuan Remaja Tentang Penyakit Menular Seksual. Terdapat proses evaluasi Pre Eksperimen dengan desain One Group Pre Test-Post Test. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan pada tanggal 17 – 19 Oktober 2022 lokasi penelitian di Akademi Ilmu Gizi YPAG Makassar. Teknik Pengambilan sampel dengan metode Systematic Random Sampling terdapat 61 responden siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan siswa setelah diberikan Penyuluhan Kesehatan terdapat 60 siswa (98.4%) mempunyai pengetahuan baik, dan terdapat 1 siswa (1.6%) yang mempunyai pengetahuan cukup. Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test setelah diberikan Penyuluhan Kesehatan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan, nilai P Value adalah 0,000 yang menunjukan 61 siswa (100%) responden mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penyakit menular seksual yang berarti (P value= 0,000 atau P<0,05). Kesimpulan, bahwa Penyuluhan kesehatan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan pada pengetahuan remaja tetang penyakit menular seksual di SMPN 5 Bangkala Kabupaten Jeneponto Tentang Penyakit Menular Seksual.
