Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women in Indonesia, with incidence rates increasing every year. Breast cancer is also the second highest cause of cancer deaths in women in Indonesia after cervical cancer. So, it is necessary to raise awareness about breast cancer and the importance of prevention and early detection efforts, in order to reduce the risk of death from the disease. The objectives obtained by carrying out this activity, namely providing information and knowledge and increasing women's awareness to take action to detect breast cancer early through breast self-examination so that they can recognize early signs of breast cancer. The method of activities carried out in this service is in the form of counseling with the lecture method using leaflet and video media. Education is proven to be effective in increasing understanding of breast cancer prevention in participants and also very enthusiastic about the material because they get new knowledge. Therefore, it is necessary to increase socialization and training activities to the head of women, especially PKK mothers of Makassar Port Police about early prevention of breast cancer.

Abstract

Drug management is a pharmaceutical service activity that starts from planning, procurement, distribution, use and disposal of drugs. The aim is to ensure the continuity and availability of efficient, effective and rational medicines, increase the competency of pharmaceutical staff, create a management information system and implement service quality control and implementation relationships in drug management at the Mamajang Community Health Center, Mamajang District, Makassar City. Collection was carried out through in-depth interview techniques and direct observation. The results of drug planning at the Mamajang Community Health Center are in accordance with the drug management guidelines which are seen based on needs at the Community Health Center. Requests for drugs are in accordance with the procedures for procuring/requesting drugs from the Health Service via LPLPO to the District Pharmacy Warehouse (GFK). The distribution of medicines at the Mamajang Community Health Center is not in accordance with the drug management guidelines from GFK and is not in accordance with the needs at the Community Health Center, due to the lack of budget from the APBD which is channeled through the City Health Service. The conclusion is that the planning and use of drugs is in accordance with procedures, while the distribution of drugs is not in accordance with drug management guidelines because the APBD budget is not channeled through the Health Service. So it is hoped that when distributing medicines from the Makassar City Health Service or (GFK) they should pay attention to the procurement/request for medicines based on the LPLPO. The high population ratio in Pamenang, Tanjung, and Gangga Districts compared to existing health facilities and personnel is a very principal problem related to health education for the community, including information about health. One of them is about the correct procedures for obtaining, using, storing and managing medicines which includes how to use special medicines. The aim of this socialization is to educate human resources at the Mamajang Community Health Center. Socialization of this program is carried out through the delivery of material, discussions, questions and answers, demonstrations by pharmacists. The participants happened to be human resources at the Community Health Center who were very enthusiastic about this program because of the participants' activeness in asking and answering questions about drug management.

Abstract

The Indonesian Pediatrician Association also states that Sunnat (circumcision) can prevent the buildup of dirt and prevent phimosis, both of which can cause infections in the genitals of babies and children. However, sometimes the implementation of this Sunnat (circumcision) cannot be carried out because of significant cost factors, so the implementation is delayed. One effort so that every child can perform Sunnat (circumcision) is by carrying out mass circumcision activities in the community around the Medika Farma Clinic. From this mass circumcision activity, it is hoped that many children in Indonesia will be circumcised, thereby achieving an increase in the health status and good growth of Indonesian children.

Abstract

Biopori absorption holes are useful for processing organic waste from households and can be applied in narrow urban residential areas. Organic waste is put into biopore absorption holes, where the fauna in the soil will then convert the organic waste into compost. The resulting compost can be taken and used as fertilizer for surrounding plants. So the benefits of biopore infiltration hole technology in general are to reduce puddles, increase groundwater reserves, reduce the volume of organic waste. This socialization and training activity on making biopore absorption holes was carried out in Tunikamaseang village with the aim of providing knowledge about the benefits of biopore absorption holes and providing knowledge on how to make biopore absorption holes. The implementation of Biopori Socialization is carried out using mentoring and socialization methods.
