Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of corporate actions, namely stock split-up, stock split-down, and right issue on the share price of multimedia companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019-2024 period. The methods used were descriptive statistical analysis and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test test to test the significance of the difference in stock prices before and after corporate action. The data analyzed is secondary data from the company's financial statements and official capital market sources, which are processed using the EViews 12 software. The results show that stock split-ups and right issues do not have a significant influence on stock prices, while stock split-down tends to reduce stock prices insignificantly. The implications of these findings suggest that the market tends to view these corporate actions as nominal changes with no fundamental basis that affect the perception of a company's value. This research makes a new contribution to the understanding of market responses to corporate actions in the multimedia industry in Indonesia, although limited to a quantitative perspective and a specific time period.

Abstract

This study utilizes a quantitative approach to examine the relationship between financial performance indicators (ROA, ROE, EPS, and OPM) and stock prices in the tourism and hospitality sector from 2018 to 2021. Secondary data, sourced from the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) containing annual financial reports of listed companies, was analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression. The results indicate that ROA and ROE do not significantly affect stock prices, while EPS has a positive and significant impact, supporting Hypothesis 3. OPM, however, does not demonstrate a significant influence on stock prices, contradicting Hypothesis 4. These findings emphasize the critical role of earnings per share (EPS) in evaluating stock performance in the sector. Highlight: This study examines the relationship between financial performance indicators (ROA, ROE, EPS, OPM) and stock prices in the tourism and hospitality sector. Results indicate that ROA and ROE do not significantly impact stock prices, while EPS plays a crucial role. OPM was found to have no significant influence on stock prices, suggesting EPS is a vital metric for assessing stock performance in this industry. Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of financial literacy, digital financial inclusion, and self-control on financial management behavior among Generation Z, as well as to analyze the role of self-control as an intervening variable. This research employs a quantitative approach using a survei method by distributing questionnaires to 120 Generation Z respondents who actively engage in digital financial activites. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The resluts show that digital financial inclusion and self-control have a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior. In addition, financial literacy and digital financial inclusion have a positive and significant effect on self-control. However, financial literacy does not have a significant effect on financial management behavior, indicating that financial knowledge alone is not sufficient to drive behavioral changes without internal motivation or habitual application in daily life. Self-control also fails to mediate the effect of financial literacy and digital financial inclusion on financial management behavior. These findings suggest that financial education should not only focus on cognitive aspects but also emphasize character building and the development of positive habits from an early age in order to foster healthy and sustainable financial bahevior.
