Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research there are three. First, Describe the influence of the skill of writing text about a grade X SMA Semen Padang before using the models of Problem Based Learning assisted audiovisual media. Second, it describes the influence of writing skills Text about a grade X SMA Semen Padang after using the model of Problem Based Learning assisted audiovisual media. Third, describe the influence of the application of the model of Problem Based Learning assisted media audiovisual against the writing skills text about a grade X SMA Semen Padang. This type of research is quasi experiment method with quantitative. Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is aim to find out the contribution between listening skills on the story to the re-write skill on the story by the student on SMP N 1 Kinali West Pasaman. The research conducted by quantitative and descriptive method. There were three results of research conducted by the were (1) the listening skill of students can be clasified into good enough that is 72,45 %, (2) the re-write skill of students can be clasified into good enough that is 72,34% and (3) the listening skill give more contribution to the students in by the second grade students  SMP N 1 Kinali West Pasaman in re-write the story, that is in 92,2%. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was (1) to describe the skill level of writing text fable class VII students SMPN 5 Koto XI Tarusan before using the model of discovery learning media of  series image, (2) to describe the skill level of writing text fable class VII students SMPN 5 Koto XI Tarusan after using the model of discovery learning media of series image, (3) to describe the effect of discovery learning model with serialized media aid to the skill of writing fable text of gride students SMPN 5 Koto XI Tarusan. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is aimed to describe three things. First, to describe the knowledge of descriptive text of 7 grade student at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. Second, to describe the writing skill of descriptive text of 7 grade student at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. Third, to describe the relation between the knowledge of descriptive text and writing skill of descriptive text of 7 grade student at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. It was a descriptive research and using correlational analysis. The result revealed there is a correlation between the knowledge of descriptive text and the writing skill of descriptive text on 7 grade student at SMP Negeri 8 Padang. Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to find the correlation between Reading comprehension skills of exposition texts with writing skills in writing exposition texts. The data of this research was score of reading test of exposition text and score of writing test of exposition texts. The data were obtained by using two types of tests. They were multiple choices to measure the skills of reading comprehension of exposition texts and performance tests to measure writing skills in writing exposition texts. Based on the results of data analysis and the discussions, there were three things found. First, the average score of intermediate reading comprehension of Exposition text by grade X SMK Negeri Padang 9 were qualified good (80.84). Second, the average score of writing skills text exposition class X students of SMK Negeri Padang 9 were at good qualifications (80.00). Third, there was a significant correlation between the skills of reading comprehension of exposition text with writing skills in writing exposition texts done by  the students of grade X SMK Negeri Padang which was at significant levels 9 95% with dk = n-1. Based on t-test hyphothesis, the results were accepted because t calculate > t table, 4.52 > 1.67. Kata kunci: korelasi ,keterampilan, membaca, pemahaman, menulis, teks eksposisi

Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence model of discovery learning by using audiovisual media the skills of news writing. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. Abstract

This article of research to describing the comprehension of vocabulary, describing the writing skill of description text, and describing the contribution of  vocabulary towards the skill in writing description text at students grade X SMA Negeri 2 Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The method used is this research is descriptive and correlational design. Based of result data analyze and explanation, were concluded 3 case. First, comprehension of vocabulary students grade at X  SMA Negeri 2 Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan was on good qualification (77,43). Second, writing skills of description text  at students grade X SMA Negeri 2 Lengayang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan was on good qualification (79,01). Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aim at describing the  effect of inquiry teaching and learning strategy using audiovisual toward student’s argumentative writing. Method used is experimental research. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that. First, student’s writing argumnetative skill at grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pua especially control class is moderate (66,91). Second, student’s writing argumentative skill at grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pua especially experimente class is good (81,94). Third, inquiry teaching and learning strategy inquiry audiovisual influential to ward student’s writing argumentative skill at grade X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Pua because t counted is bigger than t table (7,28>1,698). Kata kunci: pengaruh, strategi pembelajaran inkuiri, argumentasi

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) desciribe the skill of writing the news berfore using cooperative learning model tipe think pair share, (2) desciribe the skill of writing the news after using cooperative learning model tipe think pair share, (3) describe effect between using of cooperative learning model type think pair share on the skill of writing to the news of class VIII SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. The result of this study is the influence of cooperative learning model type think pair share to news writing skill.
