Abstract

ABSTRACT This research is aimed to explain the influence cooperative model type TSTS concerning re-biographical story writing skills of student class XI SMA Negeri 1 Padang. The research method of this study is experiment method with quasi experiment. The results of this study thre was significant influence cooperative model type TSTS concerning re-biographical story text writing skills of student class XI SMA Negeri 1 Padang at significant level 95% with degrees of freedom (dk) = n-1, namely tarithmetic > ttable (14,04 > 1,67). Ho was rejected and H1 was accepted because the results of the hypothesis test prove that value of tarithmetic was greater than ttable. Kata Kunci: pengaruh, kooperatif, TSTS, teks cerita ulang biografi

Abstract

ABSTRACT  There are three purposes of this research. First, to describe of writing argumentative paragraph without using discovery learning. Second, to describe of  writing argumentative paragraph by using discovery learning. Third, to describe the effect of the first grade students in writing argumentative paragraph by using discovery learning.Based on the analysis of the data, the researcher concluded that, first writing argumentative paragraph without using discovery learning was classified into (C) with averange 63,26. Second, writing argumentative paragraph by using discovery learning was classified into (B) with averange 78,52. Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is three. First, describing fable text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman before using discovery learning models. Secondly, describing fable text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman after using discovery learning models. Third, analyze the influence of the use of discovery learning models on fable text writing skills of class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. this type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design of this study was the design of one group pretest and posttest. The population of this study was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman which amounted to 184 people scattered in six classes. The data of this study is the score of the results of the fable text writing skills test before and after using the discovery learning model. the instrument of this research is the performance test. The results of this study are three, namely as follows. First, fable text writing skills before using the discovery learning model, class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman are in a sufficient qualification (C) with an average value of 58.18. Second, fable text writing skills after using the discovery learning model, class VII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman are in the qualification of More Than Enough (LdC) with an average value of 68.60. Third, based on the t-test at the level of 0.95 obtained tcount> t table (2.90> 1.70). Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the discovery learning model can be used as a model problem in learning to write fable text. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Discovery Learning, Teks fabel

Abstract

 This research is purpose to describe the influencing of using copy the master technic for writing explanation text ability for students class VIII SMP Negeri 15 Padang. The kind of this research is quantitative. The research uses experiment method which emphasizes on semu design experiment for one group pretest posttest design. There are three result on the research are (1) the students’ ability in writing explanation text before using copy the master technic at SMP Negeri 15 Padang is low and grades LdC with average 65,97, (2) the students’ ability in writing explanation text after using copy the master technic at SMP Negeri 15 Padang is high and grades BS with average 85,97, and (3) the significant influenced from using copy the master technic writing explanation text ability for students class VIII SMP Negeri 15 Padang. Based on t-test on the significant phase 95% and degrees of freedom (df) = nI because t-table<tcountt (1,70>10,91). Kata kunci: pengaruh, teknik copy the maser, menulis, teks eksplanasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article has written the contribution of reading comprehension ability of short story text toward the students’ writing short story text ability at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang. This research is quantitative research using the descriptive method and the contribution research design. The research data is the test result score of reading short story text ability and the test result score of writing short story text ability. The data has obtained through two types of test that are the objective test which uses yo measure the writing ability of short story text. Based on the result of data analysis and the discussion, the researcher concludes the three things follow; first, the average score of the student’ reading comprehension ability of short story text at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang is in the good qualification (78,29). Second, the average score of the student’ writing ability of short story text at XI class of SMAN 7 Padang is in the good qualification (75,89). Third, there are the significant contributions between the reading comprehension ability of short story text toward the students writing ability of story text at XI class of SMAN 7 padang as much as 70,56%.   Kata Kunci: kontribusi, keterampilan, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is to discribe the using of preposition and conjunction in the expotition text as class VII at SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The result of this research is found that the using of preposition that is states of meaning of whex a place, direction from, purpose direction, comparison, subject, and restriction. The conjunction that is which used are intra-sentence conjunction and antar-sntence conjunction. The student still can not using preposition and conjunction correctly. Kata kunci : kata tugas, preposisi, konjungtor

Abstract

ABSTRACT                 The purpose of this study is to describe the contribution of reading skills to appreciate the short story text writing skills of short story students in grade XI SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi. The data of this research is score of reading skill test result of appreciation of short story text and score of skill text writing skill test result. The collected data is analyzed according to the indicators to score and score the students. The instrument of this study is an objective test for the appreciative skills of reading short story text and performance tests for short story text writing skills. Based on the result of the research, it is concluded that the skill reading comprehension skills of the short stories contribute significantly to the skill of writing the short story of the students of grade XI SMA Negeri 5 Bukittinggi on the n-1 freedom degree (56-1 = 55) and 95% significant level. Kata kunci: kontribusi, membaca apresiatif, menulis, teks cerpen

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of the discovery learning modelon essay writing official letter class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Padang. Data of this study is the result of the test writing official letter before and after treatment. Data collected by the test performance by providing employment to students in the form of test essay writing official letter. Essay writing official letter before and after treatment compared to see the effect of discovery learning model by using t-test formula This research is a quantitative experimental method. The results of this research are three: (1) skill bouquet of official letter class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Padang before using discovery learning model is the qualification Fair (C) with an average value of 62,60, (2) the exposition essay writing skills after using discovery learning class VIII SMP Negeri 4 Padang regency are in the qualification Very Good (BS) with an average value of 82,16, and (3) based on the t-test, concluded that there was a significant influence on the use of discovery learning model in teaching writing official letter essay class VIII SMPN 4 Padang. Kata kunci: pengaruh model discovery learning, menulis surat resmi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research is describe the influence of cooperative model of TPS type by using image media the skill of procedure text writing for student at VIII grade in 2 Junior High School Padang Panjang. The research method is experimental. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe skills in writing short story of studentsclass X SMA Negeri 1Lubuk Sikaping before and after use modeling techniques, with describe the effect of the use of modeling techniques in writing short storyof studentsclass X SMA Negeri 1Lubuk Sikaping. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design.The results of this research areshort story writing skills of students class X SMA Negeri 1Lubuk Sikaping before use modeling techniques is more fairly and grades LdC, and after use modeling techniques is good and grades B, and based on t-test, results concluded that the use of modeling techniques influence the short story writing skills class X SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Sikaping because ttable<tcount (1,68<10,32). Kata kunci: pengaruh, teknik pemodelan, cerita pendek.
