Abstract

Abstract: The research on application of active learning strategy planted questions to improve learning achievement of learners on the subject of solubility and solubility results in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar on April. Form of research is experimental research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consist of two class, namely class XI MIPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 3 as control class which randomly selected after had tested normality and homogeneity. Experimental class is a class that implemented of active learning strategy planted questions while the control class used discussion information methods. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of the final data processing using t-test formula obtained tcount > ttable (4,615 > 1,669) means the application of active learning strategy planted questions can improve student achievement on the subject of solubility and solubility results in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar, with an increasing percentage of 23,851% .Keywords : Active learning strategy planted questions, Learning Achievement and solubility and solubility.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed to increase student achievement by application ofcooperative learning model POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) on learning topic ofthermochemical in XI IPA SMA N 9 Pekanbaru. This is an experimental research withrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. Subject of this research are XI IPA 4as the experimental class, XI IPA 3 as the control class which were determinedrandomly after conducting normality and homogeneity test. The experimental groupwas treated with the application of cooperative learning model POE (Predict, Observe,Explain) while the control group without the application cooperative learning modelPOE (Predict, Observe, Explain). The data analysis to test the hypothesis was using ttestright side. Based on the data analysis, it is obtaine tcount = 3,53 and ttable = 2,00 withα=0,05, dk = 73, tcount > ttable is 3,53 > 2,00, It’s mean that the application ofcooperative learning model POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) can improve studentsachievement on the subject of thermochemical in XI IPA SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the difficulties and factors that cause learning difficulties of students on the ion balance and pH of salt solution in class XI MIPA 3 SMAN 1 Kuantan Mudik. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative case study approach, the population of class XI with a sample size of 35 people in class XI MIPA 3. The data collection technique uses the technique of test questions and questionnaires, and interviews, while the data collection tools use test questions and questionnaire sheets. The results showed that the students had difficulty learning in determining the pH of the salt solution with high and very high categories of learning difficulties. Internal factors that affect students 'learning difficulties are motivational aspects with indicators of learning efforts about ionic balance and pH of salt solution and students' attention to learning these materials with percentage effects of 59.28% and 57.85%, respectively, while external factors which affects learning difficulties in the aspects of teacher teaching 59.86% respectively. The conclusion of this study is that there are learning difficulties of students on the matter of ionic equilibrium and the pH of the salt solution and there are both internal and external factors that affect the learning abilities of students.Key Words: Analysis, Ionic Equilibrium and pH of Saline Solution, Learning Difficulties for

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to improve student learning achievement on hydrocarbon material using the KAPRA learning model (Associate, Experience, Think, Negotiate, and Apply) in class XI SMAN 5 Pekanbaru. The research design used was a randomized control group pretest-posttest design with right side t-test analysis. The results of the calculation with the t-test obtained tcount> ttable, namely 1.72> 1.67. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the KAPRA learning model on hydrocarbon material can improve student achievement in class XI MIPA SMAN 5 Pekanbaru and can be recommended as an alternative learning model to improve student learning achievement in other chemical materials.Key Words: Hydrocarbons, Capra, Application, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

Proses asimilasi dan adaptasi pada pengendalian dari persebaran COVID-19 berdampak pada fenomena tingginya stres kerja guru kimia di Provinsi Riau dalam menghadapi proses pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh efikasi Diri dan penguasaan konsep kimia terhadap stres kerja guru kimia pada masa pandemi COVID-19 di Provinsi Riau. Metode Penelitian ini adalah kuantitaif dengan teknik korelasional pada pengaruh langsung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru Kimia SMA di Provinsi Riau khususnya pada empat kabupaten/Kota yaitu Pekanbaru, Siak, Indragiri Hilir, dan Indragiri Hulu dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 224 orang guru kimia, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian diambil dengan teknik proportionate random sampling sehingga diperoleh 144 guru kimia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner online dengan menggunakan skala efikasi diri, penguasaan konsep kimia dan stres kerja guru kimia. Kuesioner telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel dalam uji coba terhadap 23 orang sampel guru kimia. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri, dan penguasaan konsep berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap stres kerja guru kimia pada masa pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bahwa guru kimia dalam meningkatkan indikator keyakinan dalam mengajar (efikasi diri), kemahiran (penguasaan konsep kimia). Selain itu, penelitian ini juga memberikan saran agar guru memiliki strategi koping dalam menghadapi stres terutama yang bersumber dari sistem sekolah, tuntutan pengembangan diri dan fasilitas perangkat keras sekolah

Abstract

The objective of this research was to develop the student’s activity sheet as support the implementation. This research used a research and development Research and Development (R & D) with 4-D model of development that includes Definition, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Research and development conducted in the Laboratory of the Department of Study Program of Chemistry Education PMIPA the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education University of Riau. The object of this research was the students’ activity paper based on the problem solving. The data analysis techniques used in the study was descriptive statistical analysis, by calculating the percentage of validation value. The average score of the five aspects of student’s activity sheet by validator’s team, such as the content properness, presentation, didactic, construction (linguistic) and technical (graphical) respectively has a value of eligibility 89.58%, 93.75%,90, 96.67% and 89.5%, totality score validation is 91.9% meaning the student’s activity sheet developed (LKPD Developed) is proper be use in chemistry learning.Key Words: Student Activity Sheet, Problem Solving, Ksp

Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of cooperative learning model Time Token has been conducted to improve student learning achievement on the topic stoichiometry at class X SMAN 2 Siak Hulu. This research is experimental research with randomized control group pretest-posttest design. The sample took in the month February – maret 2013. The sample consisted of two class, X3 class as control class. Experimental class is the with cooperative learning model Time Token and Control Class is the class with cooperative learning model Time Token. Analyze of data by used t-test formula. Result of data processing obtained t count>t table is 2,07 > 1,67. It means that the application of cooperative learning model Time Token can improve student achievement on the topic redoks at class X SMAN 2 Siak Hulu with the increasing percentage of 6,299%.Keywords : Cooperative learning, time token, learning achievement, redoks

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research are to know the improvement of student learning achievement and value of influence by implementing learning strategy the firing line subject in the class X IPA SMAN 10 Pekanbaru. This research is experimental research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted two class, class X IPA 3 as experiment class and class X IPA 4 as control class that has tested by normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test. Hypothesis was done by using test-t right side. Research result shown that the implementation of learning strategy the firing line can improve student learning achievement on the stoichiometry subject where tarithmetic = 2,18 > ttable = 1,67 with value of its influence to student learning achievement is 0,71.Key Words : Learning strategy the firing line, Learning Achievement, stoichiometry

Abstract

Abstrack: This study aims to determine the suitability of the content of high schoolchemistry textbooks class X with feasibility contents and feasibility presentation on thesubject of atomic structure and the periodic system unsure with Curriculum 2013. Thisresearch was conducted at PMIPA Chemistry Study Program Guidance and CounselingUniversity of Riau. Data retrieval time is in April 2014 through June 2014. Populationof this study is high school chemistry textbooks which is the subject of class X of atomicstructure and the periodic system unsure labeled Curriculum 2013. Data was collectedby observation techniques dominant book. Data analysis by using descriptive analysis.Based on the research that has been conducted found that the major conclusions ofconformity feasibility Erlangga chemistry textbook content was 72.22% and Yudhistira70.22% were the suitability category "Enough". Suitability of large chemical textbookspresenting feasibility Erlangga are 89.13% and Yudhistira 87.56% is conformity withthe category of "Good". Based on the percentage of Erlangga chemistry textbooks havesuitability levels higher than Yudhistira chemistry textbooks.
