Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan penerapan pembelajaran praktikum berbasis guided inquiry yang diintegrasikan dengan video transpor membran efektif terhadap KPS siswa namun kurang efektif terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi transpor membran karena pelaksanaan penelitian kurang sesuai dengan perencanaan Practical learning based on guided inquiry integrated with video provide freedom to the students to discover their own concepts and direct experience so that learning process more meaningful. This research aimed to analyze the effectiveness implementation learning of practical based on guided inquiry integrated with membrane transport video toward science process skills and concepts understanding of students. This research used Pre Eksperimental design with One Shot Case Study pattern. Sampling was determined by purposive sampling technique. The samples in this research was X Science 1 and X Science 2 which consist of 63 students. The data of science process skills was obtained from observation, the data of concepts understanding was obtained from posttest scores, the data of students responses was obtained from questionnaire, and the data of the teacher responses was obtained from interview. The result shows that the science process skills of 95% students included in good and very good criteria but the concepts understanding of students has not reach minimal set the standard ≥ 75%. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of practical based on guided inquiry integrated with membrane transport learning video is effective in students science process skills but not effective enough to the concepts understanding of students because the research implementation is not appropriate with the plan.

Abstract

Limited number of microscope in a school become an obstacle to learning process, including to do anobservation to structure and function of tissue, especially from plants. This research discussed aboutplant tissue. Most students considered that this material was difficult due to limited number ofmicroscope and limited textbook information. Students became bored since the learning material wasdone only by listening and noting teachers’ explanation. The learning process suppose to make themactive, one of the alternative was by Numbered Head Together (NHT). The limited number ofmicroscope can be handled by the picture in picture puzzle. The purpose of this research was toanalyze the effectiveness of NHT with picture puzzle to the activity and learning outcome of studenstin plant tissue structure and function material. This research used pre-experimental with One ShotCase Study. The analysis of data included quantitative data to students’ activity, learning outcome, students’ opinion, and descriptive analysis to teacher’s opinion. The result of this research showed that91% of the students became active and very active. 82% of the students were also passed the score.Teacher and students gave positive reviews to the learning process. Based on the learning outcome, itwas concluded that the cooperative learning of NHT with picture puzzle was effective in increasingstudents’ learning activity and outcome in plant tissue function and structure material.

Abstract

The success of learning are determined by many factors, one of them is the use of learning media as learning source. The effective learning media which is used in the plant materials is media that use the plants around the students as learning sources. The operation of learning media will be more efficient if it is packed as easy and understandable media for students. This research aims to develop the effective and efficient learning media for applying in the plants material. This research uses Research and Development (RnD) method. The developed product is an album of seeds plants in the Linggo Asri Forest as a learning media. This research purposes to identify the seeds plants species in the Linggo Asri forest and also to analyse the feasibility of the album in the learning process. The proper test was done by material and media expert, teacher and also students of X.MIA SMA N 1 Kajen. The validator assessment showed that the album is proper to be applied in the learning process. The effectiveness test showed that learning process using the album is effective from the high of students’ learning outcome and passing percentage.

Abstract

Plant tissue competence is to analyze the relationship between structure and function of plant tissue. This study aims to test the validity and effectiveness of the plant tissue module based on blended learning. The research method uses research and development (R & D) which consists of research, development, validation, and field-testing. The research was conducted on learning constraints, teaching materials, and learning materials (plant tissues). Modules are developed from the results of research which are then validated and legibility tests. The field test was conducted at SMA N 1 Jepara by taking 3 classes as a control class (without modules), experiment 1 (using modules), and experiment 2 (using blended learning modules). The results of the characteristics of the blended learning module of plant tissue are images and videos in the module derived from the results of research on plant tissue of xerophytes, mesophytes (monocots and dicots), and hydrophytes in the organs of leaves, stems and roots which are presented along with tissue information to facilitate analysis by comparing between tissue. The results of module validation by teaching materials experts are 97% and learning materials experts are 100% with very valid criteria, and module readability validation is 90% with easy to understand criteria. The results of the effectiveness of the module in the cognitive aspects of the experimental class 2 were higher than the control class and experimental class 1, which was 90,90% with very effective criteria. Classical mastery of the psychomotor and affective aspects of the experimental class 2 by 100% with very effective criteria.

The results of the material expert validation for the first stage obtained 77.05% and the second stage results were 84.33%. The result validation of media experts obtained a result of 99.07%. The results of the legibility, validity, and feasibility tests were then tested at a large-scale level. The results of the effectiveness test obtained the pretest average value of 22, 33 and the average posttest score of 88.44. The results of the paired sample t test show a significance of 0.000 <0.05, which means that there is a significant relationship before and after using the interactive e-book. The correlation strength is 0.848, indicating a very high correlation. The average value of the activities of students in the attitude aspect of 3.36 criteria is very good. The average value of activities on the aspects of skills during discussion and practicum is 3.38, very good criteria. It is concluded that the interactive e-book of ferns can be used as a valid, practical, and effective learning resource in SMA / MA and can then be disseminated. Abstract

The seed plant e-book is an online learning solution. Efforts to improve the quality of learning resources for plantae material, mostly seed plants, are carried out by developing interactive e-books to support online learning. The interactive e-book is designed using a scientific and contextual approach. This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of the interactive e-book on seed plants with a scientific and contextual approach to the learning outcomes of students. This research method is an experiment to measure the effectiveness of using e-books with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group research design to measure learning outcomes. The average of students' learning outcomes in the cognitive aspect is 90.41. The result of the N-Gain calculation of the average learning result or the concept mastery ability test of 0. 72 is included in the high category. Interactive e-books are proven to be effective in improving cognitive, affective, and psychomotor learning outcomes. The use of e-books in online learning encourages student-centered learning because, in the learning process, students are more active and do not depend on the teacher.
