Abstract

This study aims to describe religiosity in the poetry collection Kamu Tidak Istinewa by Natasha Rizky and its recommendation as a teaching module in vocational schools. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis method. The subject used in this research is the value of religiosity while the object is the collection of poems Kamu Tidak Istimewa by Natasha Rizky. Furthermore, the data collection techniques used are literature study and simak catat. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion and verification. The results showed that the poem ‘Temanku’ contained two data, producing aspects of human intertwining with other humans, and the attitude of religiosity to help and love each other. Whereas in the poem ‘Maha Pencuru’ there are two data, producing aspects of human connection with God, and the attitude of religiosity to worship to further instil love for God. The final result of this research is used as a teaching module for learning poetry in vocational schools.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning in schools requires the right learning model to maximize student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the effect of applying the Jigsaw model utilizing smart TV technology in improving students' review text writing ability. This research is a quantitative research. The research method used was quasi-experiment with Nonequaivalent Control Group Design. The samples of this study were class VIII Gaza as the experimental class and class VIII Kuffah as the control class. The data collection technique in this study used a description test technique. The results showed that the application of the Jigsaw model utilizing smart TV technology had a significant effect on students' review text writing ability. This can be proven from the average value of the experimental class on the pretest 64.57 and posttest 87.39. While the average value of the control class on the pretest 38,91 and posttest 66,96. Based on the results of the N- Gain calculation, there is a significant effectiveness, namely the experimental class 65.01 which is quite effective and the control class 44.91 which is less effective. In knowing the significant difference, the difference test of two average N-Gain scores was conducted. The results obtained are the significance value (2-tailed) 0.005 <0.05, so it is stated that Ha is accepted, meaning that the ability to write student review texts with the application of the Jigsaw learning model is better than students who do the Jigsaw learning model.

Abstract

Independence is important for every individual, especially women, to express themselves freely and do whatever they want without depending on others. Independence does not only occur due to the influence of others, but can occur as a result of encouragement from oneself who is already aware of one's identity. This research aims to describe the value of independence contained in the novel Sabiya by Mellyana Dhian. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. The subject of the study uses the novel Sabiya by Mellayana Dhian and the object of the research is the value of independence. The data collection technique used in this study uses the technique of reading, recording and summarizing. The results of the study showed data the value of independence contained in the novel Sabiya by Mellyana Dhian including behavioral autonomy and emotional autonomy. The results of the analysis are then used as recommendations for teaching materials for novel texts in SMK.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi dan keterampilan menulis menjadi salah satu indikator penting dalam menentukan mutu pendidikan. Meskipun demikian, masih ditemukan banyak peserta didik menghadapi hambatan dalam menulis, terkhusus dalam menulis teks negosiasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model STAD berbantuan media tayangan iklan GO-PAY Indonesia Kebahagiaan Kecil dalam peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks negosiasi. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif beserta metode eksperimen serta menerapkan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Cikampek, dengan sampel kelas X-B selaku kelas eksperimen dan kelas X-I selaku kelas kontrol yang tiap-tiap kelompok terdiri dari 32 peserta didik. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata posttest kelas eksperimen mencapaai 91,23 lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol sebesar 89,76. Hasil pengujian normalitas juga homogentas pada pretest juga posttest dari kedua kelas memiliki distribusi normal serta bersifat homogen dengan nilai signifikasi > 0,05, maka dapat memenuhi syarat untuk uji hipotesis parametrik Independent Sample T-Test. Selain itu, skor N-Gain pada kelas eksperimen mencapai 68,39, sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 45,15. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test mengindikasikan signifikansi < 0,001, yang berarti adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara capaian hasil belajar peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Maka dari itu, hasil yang diambil yaitu menolak Ho dan menerima Ha, yakni model STAD berbantuan media tayangan iklan GO-PAY Indonesia-Kebahagiaan Kecil berpengaruh dalam peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks negosiasi peserta didik kelas X SMAN 1 Cikampek. Penelitian ini bermanfaat dalam mendorong peningkatan keterampilan menulis teks negosiasi melalui pembelajaran yang lebih aktif juga kolaboratif. Dengan melibatkan peserta didik di dalam proses belajar tersebut, diharapkan motivasi belajar peserta didik meningkat, keterampilan berpikir kritis terasah, serta kemampuan menyusun teks negosiasi secara terstruktur dan argumentatif dapat berkembang secara optimal.

Abstract

Pembelajaran menulis teks drama kerap kali menemui kendala, terutama ketika peserta didik mengalami kesulitan dalam menuangkan ide secara kreatif dan sistematis. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah pemanfaatan media komik digital sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan media komik digital dari situs Pendidikan.id dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks drama pada siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Majalaya. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimental digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan nonequivalent control group design yang melibatkan dua kelas, yakni kelas XI.A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan XI.D sebagai kelompok kontrol, masing-masing berjumlah 32 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui pretest, posttest, dan angket, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji normalitas, homogenitas, N-Gain, serta uji hipotesis (paired sample t-test dan independent sample t-test). Hasil penelitian dengan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk kedua kelas menggunakan SPSS v29 berdistribusi normal dengan nilai pretest kelas eksperimen menunjukkan (0,072), hasil posttest kelas eksperimen (0,148), pretest kelas kontrol (0,066), dan hasil dari posttest kelas kontrol (0,116). Kemudian, ditemukan bahwa data pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen serta kontrol bersifat homogen dengan nilai signifikansi pretest sebesar 0,112 dan posttest sebesar 0,051. Skor rata-rata N-Gain kelas XI.A mencapai 65,04 dan termasuk kategori cukup efektif, sementara kelas XI.D hanya memperoleh 31,19 (tidak efektif). Ditemukan perbedaan signifikan dengan pengujian paired sample t-test antara nilai pretest dan posttest pada kelas eksperimen, diperoleh signifikansi < 0,001. Uji independent sample t-test juga mengindikasikan adanya perbedaan nyata antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Selain itu, hasil angket memperlihatkan bahwa mayoritas siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap penggunaan media, dengan 97,51% siswa memilih kategori setuju dan sangat setuju. Temuan ini mengonfirmasi bahwa media komik digital mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa secara signifikan dan diterima dengan baik dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The popularity of foreign cuisine among Indonesia’s young generation has increased in line with the massive efforts of gastrodiplomacy, which has led to a decline in interest in Nusantara cuisine. The novel serves as a medium capable of creatively and symbolically exploring culinary themes. This study aims to analyze the representation of Nusantara culinary identity in Namaku Alam, a novel by Leila S. Chudori, through a literary gastrocriticism approach, focusing on the function of culinary elements as narrative devices, story settings, and the artistic values contained within. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and note-taking techniques on Namaku Alam. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method. The data, in the form of narrative excerpts containing culinary elements, were analyzed to interpret their symbolic and cultural meanings, thereby revealing the representation of Nusantara culinary identity in the text. The findings show that culinary elements in the novel function as a multifaceted narrative device that builds setting and plot while simultaneously constructing characters and triggering emotional conflict. Culinary aspects are also portrayed aesthetically through symbolic language that reflects the artistic value of origin, taste, presentation, and the manner of enjoying the food. This representation demonstrates that culinary elements in literary works are not merely decorative, but serve as an essential component in shaping the cultural identity of Nusantara.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the inferiority experienced by the character Rondasih in Minanto's novel Kemelut Rondasih dan Dua Anaknya (The Turmoil of Rondasih and Her Two Children). The main focus of this study is to explore how Rondasih's feelings of inferiority affect her social interactions, decisions, and character development throughout the story. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis methods. The subject of this study is the novel Kemelut Rondasih dan Dua Anaknya by Minanto, while the object of this study is inferiority based on Alfred Adler's psychological theory. The data collection techniques used in this study include observation, literature study, listening, note-taking, and conclusion analysis. The results of the study show that the character Rondasih reflects an inferiority complex in the form of indecision, fear, insecurity, shame, cowardice, a need for support, and feelings of helplessness. Rondasih's inferiority complex influences her decisions and relationships with other characters in the story. These findings are expected to provide a deeper understanding of the characters and psychological dynamics in the novel.
