Abstract

The objectives of this study are to: 1) ascertain the level of YouTube Kids viewing in the Karawang Barat district; 2) ascertain the evolution of the speech abilities of children aged 5 to 6; and 3) ascertain the impact of YouTube Kids viewing intensity on the speaking abilities of children aged 5 to 6 in the Karawang Barat districts. Ex Post Facto was the qualitative method employed in the study, and 237 respondents were chosen by random sample procedures. We use an online tool to gather data. Analysis of research data: SPSS Version 23.0 for Windows is used in this study to do basic linear regression analysis. Based on the study's findings, it was determined that children in the Karawang Barat district watch YouTube Kids at a medium intensity, scoring a 57% presentation score, and that their speaking abilities develop at a preset rate of 59.9%, which is in line with expectations. A linear regression test yields a significance result (Sig) of 0.001<0.05, indicating a significant relationship (R square score of 4.2% ) between the amount of time children aged 5–6 watch YouTube Kids (X) and their capacity to speak.

Abstract

This study aims to see how the use of word stick puzzle media can affect the ability of children aged 4-5 years to recognize letters. The focus of this study is to compile a word stick puzzle containing pictures and letter descriptions, mention and point to letters, match letters, and sort letters using word stick puzzle media. This research was carried out because there was a problem with the ability of class A children to recognize letters. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental design. This is a type of study in which only one group is tested, without comparing it with another group. Before and after the experiment, there will be measurements taken. This study involved 16 children. In this study, the method of collecting data was carried out by observation, and to analyze the data, a simple paired t-test was used. The results of this study show that using word stick puzzle media can help children recognize letters.

Abstract

Kompetensi utama yang harus dimiliki seorang guru adalah kompetensi pedagogik. Kompetensi pedagogik merupakan kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan kewajiban-kewajibannya secara bertanggung jawab dan layak. Semakin baik kompetensi pedagogik guru maka semakin baik kemampuan yang akan dimilikinya. Motivasi adalah suatu perubahan energi dalam diri seseorang yang ditandai dengan munculnya perasaan dan didahului dengan adanya tujuan, motivasi siswa dalam pendidikan akan mempengaruhi langkah selanjutnya dari apa yang akan dilakukan oleh siswa, karena itulah berbagai macam cara siswa berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk memotivasi belajarnya dengan baik.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui tingkat kompetensi pedagogik guru di Lembaga RA se Kecematan Karawang Barat. (2) mengetahui tingkat motivasi belajar di RA, (3) mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di Lembaga RA Kecamatan Karawang Barat.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Subyek penelitian berjumlah 48 responden yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Dalam pengumpulan data, peneliti menggunakan metode angket berupa skala likert. Analisa data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis regresi Linier Sederhana, dengan bantuan SPSS versi 16.0 for windows.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan hasil ; pada guru RA Kecamatan Karawang Barat memiliki tingkat kompetensi pedagogik dalam kategori yang tinggi sebesar 71%, motivasi belajar RA usia 5-6 Tahun sendiri juga masuk pada kategori yang tinggi sebesar 77 %. Dari hasil regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan besarnya nilai (1,229) (0,087) dan signifikansi (0,601) (0,05), maka hasil ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif signifikan kompetensi pedagogik guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of giving junk food on the nutritional quality of children aged 4-5 years, and also to find out whether there is an influence of junk food on the nutritional quality of children, as well as finding out what treatment is given to deal with the understanding of consuming junk food. This research was conducted in Kota Baru District in 2023. The method used in this research was quantitative ex post facto. The research subjects were 96 children aged 4-5 5 years. Data was collected through data collection techniques in the form of identity questionnaires and junk food frequency questionnaires, and measuring height, weight and head circumference documentation. The results of the research show that there is an influence in providing junk food on the quality of children's nutrition. The causal factors are divided into 2, namely internal and external factors such as family environmental factors, home environment. And the treatment given can be seen from the provision of food by parents, such as bringing healthy supplies and teachers who help in providing an understanding of junk food, learning activities at school.
