Abstract

Inefficient material distribution at PT XYZ causes production delays in tactical vehicles and increases operational costs. This study aims to identify waste in the material distribution process using the Lean Logistics approach with the help of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Process Activity Mapping (PAM) tools. The analysis shows that out of a total distribution time of 6,835 minutes, only 273 minutes (4%) are value-added (VA) activities, while the remainder consists of non-value added (NVA) and necessary non-value added (NNVA) activities. These findings highlight the dominance of wasted time due to delays, transportation, and inefficient storage. The study recommends continuous improvement through lean tools and the implementation of digital technologies to accelerate distribution flow and reduce waste. This approach can enhance overall logistics efficiency and company productivity.

Abstract

Methanol (MeOH) and ethanol (EtOH) are commonly used fuels in Direct Alcohol Fuel Cells (DAFC). The advantages of these two fuels are influenced by electrochemical reactions centered around the Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA). In this study, Pt/C catalyst was used on the cathode and Pt-Ru/C on the anode, with catalyst loadings of 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 mg/cm2. The anode and cathode were characterized using Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), while the conductivity properties were evaluated through Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS). The Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) of the MEA in a single DAFC cell reached 0.65 V, with the highest value observed at a MeOH:EtOH volume ratio of 70:30 at concentrations of 3 M for MeOH and 2 M for EtOH. In addition to oxidation at the anode, oxygen reduction plays a significant role in the MEA performance on the cathode side. The oxygen supply to the cathode increased the power density by 52.17% at the optimal blower voltage of 5 V.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and enhance the User Experience (UX) of SEKAPAI, a web-based AI learning assistant developed to support Computational Thinking (CT) development. The initial version was assessed using Cognitive Walkthrough, System Usability Scale (SUS), and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ), involving ten participants. Data collected from these instruments were analyzed using descriptive statistics to quantify usability scores, and qualitative feedback from the walkthroughs was subjected to thematic analysis to identify pain points. The preliminary results showed a success rate of 90%, but also revealed issues in clarity and feature navigation. Based on user feedback, the platform underwent a redesign process guided by User-Centered Design (UCD) stages, resulting in improvements in structure, interaction flow, and interface clarity. The updated prototype showed clear improvements, supported by Maze testing with a UX score of 80 ('Good') and a SUS increase to 86 ('Excellent'), and the task success rate improved to 97.14%, indicating a significant enhancement in user satisfaction and efficiency. This study not only validates the effectiveness of UCD in refining AI-based learning tools but also highlights the potential for future system development. These findings contribute to the design methodology of intelligent educational systems by aligning pedagogical goals with interactive design strategies.
