Abstract

Abstract

This study systematically reviews the literature on the ability of sectoral stock indices to predict sectoral economic growth, particularly using mixed-frequency forecasting approaches in emerging markets. The issue is important because stock markets operate at high frequencies (daily or weekly), while sectoral economic indicators—such as industrial output, sectoral GDP, and production indices—are typically available at lower frequencies (monthly, quarterly, or annually). This mismatch creates both methodological challenges and analytical opportunities in integrating financial and real-sector data. Using a systematic literature review, the study synthesizes theories of market efficiency, the relationship between finance and economic growth, and the Mixed Data Sampling (MIDAS) approach. The literature indicates that stock prices may contain forward-looking information related to profit expectations, sectoral demand, financing conditions, and investor sentiment. However, empirical evidence at the sectoral level in emerging markets remains mixed due to differences in market structures, macroeconomic volatility, uneven liquidity, and data limitations. The study concludes that integrating sectoral stock indices with economic indicators through mixed-frequency models offers valuable contributions to macro-financial forecasting, although further sector-specific and country-specific empirical research is still needed..  Keywords: sectoral stock indices; economic growth, mixed-frequency, MIDAS; emerging markets; forecasting; macro-financial.

Abstract

Public-sector organisations in developing countries face increasing pressure to achieve sustainability through responsible innovation and environmentally oriented human resource management practices. This study investigates the direct effect of Responsible Innovation Practices (RIP) on Organisational Sustainability (OS) and the indirect effect through Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) among Indonesian public-sector employees. A quantitative causal-explanatory approach was employed using survey data from 300 civil servants, analysed with Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that RIP has a significant positive effect on both GHRM and organisational sustainability. GHRM also positively influences organisational sustainability and partially mediates the relationship between RIP and sustainability, indicating that responsible innovation strengthens sustainable outcomes through environmentally oriented HRM practices. These results suggest that public organisations should integrate responsible innovation into recruitment, training, performance management, and reward systems. This study contributes to the sustainability and HRM literature by providing empirical evidence from Indonesia's public sector and highlighting the strategic role of green HRM in achieving organisational sustainability

Abstract

Abstract

Introduction: This study aims to analyze the effects of compensation and work motivation on turnover intention among employees at Rumah Hijab Ummu Hafidz in Gorontalo City. Compensation in this study includes direct compensation, such as salaries and incentives, and indirect compensation, such as allowances and work facilities. Methods:  This study involved 50 respondents among employees at Rumah Hijab Ummu Hafidz, Gorontalo City. The research method is quantitative, using data collection techniques through questionnaires. The sample in this study comprises all active employees at Rumah Hijab Ummu Hafidz, using a census method. The data analysis tools used include classic assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination (R²), using SPSS 27.Results: The research shows that, in part, the variables of compensation and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on turnover intention. Simultaneously, both have a considerable effect, accounting for 93.7% of turnover intention, while 6.3% is influenced by factors outside this research model, such as work environment conditions, psychological pressure, or family factors. Thus, improving fair compensation and creating good work motivation can reduce employees' intention to leave their jobs. Keywords: Compensation, Turnover Intention, Work Motivation

Abstract

The accelerating transition toward sustainable industries demands strategic human resource management that integrates Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles with Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices. Despite global recognition, conceptual and operational integration between ESG and GHRM remains limited, particularly in Asia, where adoption rates and standardized performance indicators are still low. This study aims to identify and map international publication trends, thematic structures, and research gaps in ESG–GHRM integration, while proposing a conceptual framework to guide future research and practice. Employing a systematic literature review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA 2020 protocol and supported by bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer, the study synthesizes findings from 26 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025, retrieved from Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The bibliometric mapping reveals five dominant thematic clusters: green recruitment, green training, green performance appraisal, pro-environmental employee behavior, and ESG-linked sustainability performance. Emerging research directions include the role of green transformational leadership, digital transformation in sustainable HRM, and culturally grounded leadership models such as Mo’odelo Leadership. Findings indicate that strong GHRM adoption correlates positively with environmental commitment, organizational adaptability, and innovation in sustainability practices. However, research gaps remain in addressing the social and governance dimensions of ESG, developing standardized measurement frameworks, and expanding studies to underrepresented regions such as Southeast Asia. The study contributes to theory by providing evidence-based recommendations for aligning HR policies with sustainability goals. These insights hold significant implications for policymakers, industry leaders, and scholars in fostering resilient, ethically governed, and environmentally responsible organizations.
