Abstract

In the development of science and technology, especially information technology, it is not followed in the field of morals. The world is getting more advanced, but on the other hand, humans are increasingly backward. Man succeeded in achieving his goals in the world, but he failed to think about his fate in the hereafter. The fall of a nation and state in any age has never occurred due to an intellectual crisis, but generally due to a moral crisis. A country no matter how poor and backward it is can still be guaranteed to survive, if the morals of the implementers of the State and its people are not damaged. Morals have a very important role in determining life and relationships. The phenomenon of using the hijab today has shifted its meaning, so that the hijab is not only a cover for aurat according to Islamic law, but now it has become a fashion for some Muslim women to impress or present a religious atmosphere in the life they live.

Abstract

Intelligence is a gift from Allah SWT that distinguishes humans from other creatures. In Islam, intelligence is not limited to intellectual ability but also includes spiritual, emotional, and moral aspects. This paper aims to examine the concept of intelligence in Islam, its types, and the role of intelligence in shaping faithful and moral individuals.

Abstract

Students’ mathematical problem-solving skills regarding plane figures remain relatively low, primarily due to the use of conventional teaching methods that tend to be teacher-centered and focused on rote memorization. This situation results in students being unable to relate mathematical concepts to real-world situations and experiencing difficulties in solving problem-based questions. Therefore, an innovative, student-centered learning model is needed; one such model is Project-Based Learning (PjBL), which emphasizes active student engagement through contextual and collaborative projects. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of implementing the PjBL model on the problem-solving skills of fourth-grade students in the geometry unit at MIMA 26 Al-Falah Sumberejo Ambulu Jember during the 2025/2026 academic year. This study employs a quantitative approach with a pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistics, with a Paired T-Test performed using SPSS. The results indicate a significant improvement in students’ problem-solving skills following the implementation of PjBL, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. This indicates a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. Additionally, interview and observation findings suggest that PjBL enhances students’ collaboration, communication, and active participation in learning. The discussion indicates that the PjBL model is effective in improving students’ ability to understand problems, implement solutions, and evaluate the validity of those solutions. Project-based learning encourages students to think critically, work collaboratively, and reflect on their work. Thus, PjBL has proven to be an effective learning model for enhancing elementary school students’ mathematical problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed education by enabling adaptive, personalized, and data-driven learning environments. In the context of Islamic education, however, the integration of AI presents both opportunities and challenges related to ethics, spirituality, and the preservation of humanistic educational values. This study aims to analyze the opportunities and challenges of AI implementation in Islamic education in the digital era and to formulate an ethical framework for its responsible integration. The study employed a qualitative approach using a library research design. Data were collected from books, scholarly articles, empirical studies, and other academic publications related to Artificial Intelligence, Society 5.0, digital pedagogy, and Islamic education. Data were analyzed using content analysis, including literature identification, thematic categorization, critical interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The findings indicate that AI has the potential to enhance personalized learning, improve educational efficiency, strengthen digital literacy, and expand access to Islamic knowledge. Nevertheless, its implementation also raises challenges, including the digital divide, data privacy concerns, algorithmic bias, the dehumanization of education, and the decline of students' critical thinking skills. This study proposes Digital Adab as an ethical framework grounded in the principles of amanah (trustworthiness), tabayyun (verification), ‘adl (justice), ihsan (benevolence), hikmah (wisdom), and maslahah (public benefit). The successful integration of AI in Islamic education depends not only on technological advancement but also on balancing innovation with ethical reflection, pedagogical wisdom, and the holistic objectives of Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze educational management innovation policies in improving the quality of education at Nurul Huda Mangunsari Islamic Boarding School (Pondok Pesantren), located in Tekung. As an Islamic educational institution, the pesantren plays an important role in character building and the development of Islamic knowledge. However, the demands of modern developments require pesantren to implement innovations in their educational management systems in order to enhance institutional quality and produce competent graduates. This study employed a qualitative approach using a case study research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the pesantren leader, teaching staff, and students (santri). The findings indicate that the educational management innovation policies implemented at the pesantren include strengthening institutional management systems, improving teacher competencies, integrating the pesantren curriculum with formal education curricula, and utilizing technology in educational administration. The implementation of these policies has had a positive impact on improving educational quality, both in terms of academic achievement and character development among students. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited infrastructure and human resources. Therefore, the development of sustainable educational management strategies is necessary to support the continuous improvement of educational quality in Islamic boarding schools in the future.
