Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of argumentative essay writing skills among students. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of the field trip method on argumentative essay writing skills in class IV students at SD Negeri 3 Simpang Rimba. Based on the research results, the normality test value for the pretest experimental significance was 0.003<0.05, posttest experimental significance 0.003<0.05, pretest control significance 0.001<0.05, posttest control significance 0.016<0.05, so it can be concluded that the residual value is distributed not normal, homogeneity test significance value 0.017<0.05, then it can be concluded that the two classes have non-homogeneous variance, hypothesis test significance value 0.001<0.05. So the Independent Samples T-Test test results were obtained, namely a significance value of 0.001<0.05. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of using the field trip method on argumentative essay writing skills in class IV Indonesian language learning at SD Negeri 3 Simpang Rimba.

Abstract

Students' struggles in recognizing learning related to musical instruments, especially basic information about musical instruments, was the driving force for this research. This is due to inadequate facilities and infrastructure to carry out the SBdP learning activity process. The aim of this research is to create an angklung learning video media product that is useful and valid for SBdP learning. This research uses the ADDIE approach to research and development (R&D). Six students were the subjects of the study's small-scale trials, while twenty students participated in the large-scale trials. To obtain data, questionnaires and interviews were carried out. Analysis of student responses, analysis of teacher practitioner questionnaires, and validation analysis of expert questionnaires are the data analysis methods used. Media experts received an assessment of 87.5% in the "Very Valid" category, material experts received an assessment of 92.8%, and language experts received a 100% recommendation. In the small group trial, 95.8% of students' answers received a score of "Very Practical", while in the large group trial, the teacher's assessment findings received a score of "Very Practical" with a score of 90.4%. Based on the results of data analysis which shows t_count = 13.69 and t_table = 1.729, it can be concluded that there is an influence on student learning outcomes before and after using learning video media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan literasi multimodal terhadap kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa kelas III SD Negeri 21 Belinyu. Pendekatan ini melibatkan penggunaan berbagai modalitas meliputi mode visual audio, yang diintegrasikan dalam proses pembelajaran pemahaman bacaan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif eksperimen menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest. Seluruh populasi penelitian, berjumlah 30 siswa, dijadikan sampel melalui teknik total sampling. Prosedur penelitian mencangkup pelaksanaan pretest untuk mengetahui kemampuan awal siswa, pemberian perlakuan berupa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan literasi multimodal selama tiga minggu (dengan dua pertemuan per minggu), dan posttest untuk mengukur hasil pembelajaran. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pemahaman bacaan berbasis literasi multimodal, yang telah melewati uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Data dianalisi dengan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji paired t-test. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest sebesar 59.00 dan posttest sebesar 77.33, serta selisih rata-rata sebesar 18.33. Nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 (<0,05) menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan literasi multimodal memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil ini, pendekatan literasi multimodal direkomendasikan sebagai metode yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman bacaan siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi bilangan cacah hingga 10.000 di kelas IV-B SD Negeri 8 Belinyu, yang melibatkan 17 siswa. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kesulitan belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Faktor internal meliputi rendahnya kemampuan intelektual, kesulitan membaca, dan daya ingat yang lemah. Faktor eksternal mencakup gangguan dari siswa lain serta suasana kelas yang tidak kondusif, seperti kebisingan dan perilaku bermain-main selama pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rendahnya kemampuan intelektual memengaruhi pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep matematika, sementara kesulitan membaca menghambat pemahaman soal-soal cerita. Daya ingat yang lemah juga menjadi kendala dalam menguasai materi dasar matematika. Di sisi lain, faktor eksternal seperti suasana kelas yang gaduh mengganggu konsentrasi siswa. Untuk mengatasi kesulitan ini, strategi yang diusulkan meliputi pendekatan pembelajaran individual, penggunaan media pembelajaran yang interaktif, pengelolaan kelas yang efektif, serta dukungan dari orang tua. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung. Dengan identifikasi dan pengelolaan faktor-faktor kesulitan belajar, diharapkan siswa dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan hasil belajar mereka, khususnya pada materi bilangan cacah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the challenge of integrating local cultural values into education, especially in elementary schools, amidst the growing wave of globalization. Cultural preservation and increasing student literacy are two aspects that need to be considered in the teaching and learning process. Therefore, this study aims to develop a digital learning media in the form of a digital pop-up flipbook with cultural content that is valid and practical as an effort to literacy for elementary school students. The research method used is research and development with the ADDIE model, which includes needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection techniques use interview techniques, assessment questionnaires, and observation. Data analysis techniques use descriptive and quantitative analysis techniques. The results obtained from this study are learning media developed in the form of a pop-up flipbook containing the culture of Bangka Belitung which has been tested for media and material validity as well as media practicality. The results of the validity test through three media experts were 88% and the results of the material validity test were 94%. In addition, practicality tests have been carried out through teacher and student response assessments of 81%. Thus, developing digital learning media with cultural content functions as a learning aid and a means to strengthen cultural identity and student literacy.
