Abstract

This research aimed to identify differences in the ability to write poetry in grade 5th students who are taught using STAD learning model with 5th grade students who are taught using NHT learning model, identify the differences in writing poetry skill of 5th grade students who have high and low learning motivation, identify the interaction of learning models and learning motivation with poetry writing skills. This research is Quantitative Research with Factorial Design. The research subjects were 25 fifth-grade students of SDN Purwotomo in the 2018/2019 academic year. The data were collected with essay test and non test (Questionnaire). They were analysed using prerequisite test analysis. There is a difference in the poetry writing ability of students taught with STAD learning model and students taught using NHT learning model indicated by FA = = 12,63 > Ftable = 4,08, there is difference in the poetry writing ability of students who have high learning motivation with students who have low learning motivation indicated by FB = 15,29 > Ftable = 4,08, there is an  interaction between learning model and learning motivation towards poetry writing ability indicated by FAB = 12,82> Ftable =4,08.

Abstract

Penilaian merupakan salah satu komponen pokok dalam proses pembelajaran. Penilaian atau asesmen seharusnya dilakukan sebagai upaya untuk mengukur tingkat ketercapaian indikator pembelajaran. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan penilaian afektif sikap sosial berbasis teknik peer and self assessment pada kurikulum 2013. Metode yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode diskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan studi pustaka. Hasil pembahasan dari penulisan ini menyimpulkan bahwa kemampuan afektif merupakan bagian dari hasil belajar yang memiliki peran sangat penting. Model penilaian afektif berbasis teknik peer and self assessment merupakan model penilaian inovatif yang sedang dikembangkan di dunia pendidikan karena model penilaian ini dapat memberikan dampak positif pada perkembangan kepribadian peserta didik.

Abstract

The objectives of this research were: (1) to describe students’ and lecturers’ needs on poetry and drama appreciative textbook, (2) to describe the development of textbook model (3) to find the effectiveness of textbook model 4) to describe textbook dissemination. The type of research used was research and development. Research was done through 4 stages: (1) exploration, (2) model development, (3) model testing, (4) dissemination. Exploration stage used qualitative descriptive approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Data analysis technique was interactive analysis model. Model testing was done through experimental research. The results of this research were: (1) the exploration stage showed that the poetry and drama learning textbook used by Elementary Teacher Education Program (ETEP) studentsin Surakarta did not meet the students’ and lecturers’ need, (2) model development stage producedappreciative poetry and drama textbook through preliminary field testing; (3) model testing phase was to test effectiveness of the textbook used t-test non-independent technique.It was obtained tobtainof 23 and ttable(90; 0.05)of 1.67. Thus, tobtained (23)> ttable (1.67) which meant that the hypothesis was accepted (Ho was rejected). In conclusion, the Appreciative Poetry and Drama textbook model was effectively improve students' poetry and drama appreciation skills. Dissemination was done through national seminars, article writing in international journals, as well as the publishing of an Integrative-thematic Textbook of Poetry and Drama Learning with ISBN.

Abstract

Writing poetry is a subject taught at the primary school level. Outdoor learning activities require students directly invited to interact with objects that will be used as material for writing poetry, so that the process of writing poetry learning an object will become more clear and more real. Outdoor learning stimulates the creative power and imagination of the students in order to put their ideas, thoughts, and ideas into poetry. In addition, the teaching and learning process will feel more alive and more fun than by doing the teaching and learning process in the classroom

Abstract

The aim of this study was to describe critical thinking ability on the fraction division of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Tegalayu Surakarta. This study used qualitative research method, specifically qualitative case study. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Tegalayu, totalling 25 students. Data collection techniques in this study included interviews, observation, and documentation. The data validity technique in this study was triangulation that consisted of technical triangulation and source triangulation. The data were analysed by using interactive analytical model of Miles, Huberman, & Saldana. The results of this study showed that the ability to think critically was generally in the low category. The interpretation ability was in the medium category. The analytical ability was in the low category. The evaluation ability was in the low category. The inference ability was in the low category. The indicator of the lowest critical thinking ability was the inference indicator. Thus, this mathematical critical thinking study can be used as a reference for another study in other elementary schools. Besides school and teachers are expected to have the skills to develop students' critical thinking ability.

Abstract

Mastery of 21st-century competencies for students is one of the efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of human resources, and one of these competencies is critical thinking skills. Learning tools integrated with technology have become one of the needs of 21st-century students in the digital era. This article is part of research on developing a Problem-Based Learning-based flipbook e-module to enhance critical thinking skills in elementary school students. The article describes one of the results of the needs analysis, which is a literature study consisting of previous research studies related to the use of Problem-Based Learning-based flipbook e-modules in improving critical thinking skills in elementary school students. The research method used in this study is a literature review, specifically analyzing articles from previous research studies on using Problem-Based Learning-based flipbook e-modules to enhance critical thinking skills in elementary school students. The review is limited to accredited journals from 2019 to 2023. The conclusion drawn from this study is that flipbook e-modules have been widely used in elementary school learning, focusing on specific subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and thematic subjects. Flipbook e-modules can be created using Kvsoft Flipbook Maker or Fliphtml5, incorporating elements such as images, videos, music, and quiz exercises. Flipbook e-modules can be effectively used to enhance critical thinking skills when integrated with innovative learning models such as Problem-Based Learning. The findings of this study can serve as a reference for future research and development of e-modules.

Abstract

SDS Mutiara Hati Ponorogo established Reyog Ponorogo Art as a program for the Strengthening Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project with the theme of local wisdom. This program not only provides an understanding of local arts and culture but also has the potential to shape students' creative character. The objectives of this research are: 1) To describe and analyze the creative character of students through the Reyog Ponorogo arts program. 2) Describe the supporting factors for students' creative character through the Reyog Ponorogo arts program: data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. The subjects of this research were phase B, totalling 18 students for the 2023/2024 academic year. Critical thinking skills data was obtained from the critical thinking skills rubric. The analysis was carried out using Milles Huberman's (1984) interactive analysis technique, namely by collecting, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that The results of the research show that 1) students who take part in the Reyog Ponorogo arts program are categorized as having very creative characters. 2), supporting factors for students' creative character through the Reyog Ponorogo arts program, including: students' potential, parental support, and support from the school. In conclusion, students who take part in the Reyog Ponorogo arts program are classified as having a very creative character, which is caused by the potential of the students, support from parents, and support from the school.

Abstract

Artikel "Persepsi Guru tentang Penerapan Pendidikan Anti-Bullying untuk Meningkatkan Pendidikan Karakter di Sekolah Dasar" mengeksplorasi pandangan pendidik tentang pengintegrasian inisiatif anti-bullying untuk meningkatkan pendidikan karakter di sekolah dasar Indonesia, di mana bullying merupakan isu yang signifikan. Agresi ini terjadi di berbagai latar, berkontribusi pada peningkatan insiden kekerasan di kalangan mahasiswa. Pendidikan karakter merupakan strategi kunci untuk perkembangan moral pada tingkat ini. Dengan menggunakan metodologi deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini mewawancarai 30 guru dari forum Komunitas Belajar di Kabupaten Pracimantoro, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 89,7% pendidik memahami pendidikan anti bullying, dan semuanya menyepakati efektivitas program anti bullying di sekolahnya dalam meningkatkan karakter siswa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan program-program ini secara efektif mengurangi kekerasan dan mendorong pengembangan karakter, terutama ketika para pendidik menyadari pentingnya mereka dan menyesuaikan pendekatan dengan kebutuhan siswa mereka.

Abstract

Keterampilan membaca dan pemahaman literasi merupakan kompetensi terpenting di era digital, sehingga pengembangan media interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal merupakan strategi yang potensial untuk meningkatkannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi pengembangan media interaktif berbasis kearifan lokal dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan pendekatan PRISMA, menggunakan artikel yang diambil secara acak dari jurnal Q1-Q4 yang terindeks di penerbit Elsevier (ScienceDirect). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan membaca, keterlibatan yang lebih baik dalam pembelajaran, dan respon positif siswa terhadap materi yang relevan secara budaya. Penggunaan cerita digital dan komik elektronik berbasis kearifan lokal khususnya menunjukkan hasil yang menjanjikan dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat baca siswa. Namun, implementasi media ini masih menghadapi tantangan yang signifikan, terutama terkait dengan kurangnya pemahaman dan keterampilan guru dalam mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal ke dalam pembelajaran, keterbatasan sumber daya dan infrastruktur, dan kesulitan dalam menjaga relevansi kearifan lokal di tengah perubahan budaya. Untuk mengatasi tantangan tersebut, diperlukan pendekatan yang komprehensif yang mencakup pelatihan guru secara intensif, dukungan infrastruktur yang memadai, dan pengembangan pendekatan holistik dalam mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal ke dalam kurikulum modern. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa semua pemangku kepentingan harus menyadari pentingnya mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal dalam pengembangan media interaktif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca, serta perlunya strategi yang tepat dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan media dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GSL) merupakan kebijakan yang berdampak positif bagi peningkatan literasi siswa. Namun, implementasinya seringkali menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan menunjukkan kesenjangan antara harapan dan kenyataan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas kebijakan GSL dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi siswa di berbagai jenjang pendidikan, baik lokal (Indonesia) maupun global. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan 17 artikel akhir yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020-2024 (5 tahun terakhir) yang dianalisis. Penerapan GLS, baik di tingkat internasional maupun lokal di Indonesia, telah menunjukkan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar, motivasi, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan literasi. Namun, ada kesenjangan antara ekspektasi dan kenyataan dalam penerapan GLS yang perlu diatasi. Perbedaan utama antara implementasi di tingkat internasional dan lokal terletak pada fokus kurikulum, pendekatan implementasi, dan tantangan yang dihadapi. Di tingkat internasional, fokusnya lebih pada literasi kritis dan pemikiran global, sedangkan di Indonesia lebih ditekankan pada kebiasaan membaca dan pengembangan minat baca dasar.
