Abstract

Jumlah Calon mahasiswa yang masuk ke perguruan tinggi khususnya perguruan tinggi swasta adalah merupakan masalah serius. Terjadi penurunan jumlah calon mahasiswa yang terjadi dalam masa pendemik covid-19 antara tahun 2018-2019 dan berlanjut sampai tahun 2022. Ini merupakan masalah serius bagi perguruan tinggi Swasta di Indonesia karena keberadaan mahasiswa yang menentukan keberlanjutan perguruan tinggi. Karena itu, dalam penelitian ini menggali lebih dalam tentang karakteristik seorang manajer atau pejabat struktural program studi yang memiliki kemampuan marketing di perguruan tinggi swasta, dan diperlukan untuk memilih calon manajer baru yang akan masuk di perguruan tinggi swasta. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah data mining, dan data yang dipakai adalah berasal dari data primer yang didapat dari kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi swasta di Jakarta dan sekitarnya. Dengan menggunakan metode Logistic Regression dan Supervisor Learning akan didapat model dari keputusan dalam memilih karakteristik seorang manajer yang memiliki kemampuan marketing di perguruan tinggi swasta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana faktor-faktor seperti kepemimpinan transformasional, budaya organisasi, kepuasan kerja, keterlibatan karyawan, dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh terhadap komitmen organisasi dan kinerja pegawai, dengan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel moderasi. Penelitian dilakukan di RSUD Palembang BARI dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain survei korelasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel dalam model penelitian memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi dan kinerja pegawai. Secara khusus, kepemimpinan transformasional, dengan koefisien 0,24, menunjukkan pengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan komitmen karyawan. Budaya organisasi yang kuat (koefisien 0,21), kepuasan kerja (koefisien 0,24), keterlibatan karyawan (koefisien 0,22), dan pengembangan karir (koefisien 0,33) semuanya berperan penting dalam memperkuat komitmen karyawan. Lebih lanjut, komitmen organisasi terbukti memiliki pengaruh besar terhadap kinerja pegawai, dengan koefisien 0,39, yang mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi komitmen karyawan terhadap organisasi, semakin baik pula kinerja mereka. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya pengembangan kepemimpinan, budaya organisasi yang mendukung, peningkatan kepuasan dan keterlibatan karyawan, serta peluang pengembangan karir untuk meningkatkan komitmen karyawan, yang pada gilirannya akan berkontribusi pada kinerja yang lebih baik di lingkungan organisasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji tentang faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kepuasan pasien BPJS di RS Bedah Khusus Al-Ishaqiy yaitu daya tanggap, keandalan, kepastian, empati, dan bukti fisik yang disajikan. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif. Pasien yang dirawat dengan BPJS di RS Bedah Khusus Al-Ishaqiy selama bulan Januari dan Februari 2024 dimasukkan ke dalam sampel penelitian. Jumlah responden yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seratus orang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, komponen bukti fisik dan kepastian terbukti memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien terhadap BPJS (nilai p < 0,05). Temuan ini sangat relevan bagi manajemen rumah sakit, yang harus terus mengembangkan karakteristik layanan yang terkait dengan kelima dimensi tersebut untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pasien BPJS dan memastikan keberlanjutan perawatan kesehatan yang baik. Temuan penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu rumah sakit meningkatkan kualitas layanan dan lebih memahami elemen-elemen yang memengaruhi kebahagiaan pasien.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of grit on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and nurse performance, as well as the effect of grit on nurse performance mediated by job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The study adopts a quantitative descriptive approach with a cross-sectional design. Data were collected through a survey method using a questionnaire, and the sample was purposively selected, consisting of 230 nurses working at RS X, South Sumatra. Data processing and analysis were conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results indicate that grit has a positive and significant direct effect on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and nurse performance. The study also demonstrates that grit positively and significantly influences nurse performance, partially mediated by job satisfaction, while organizational commitment shows an insignificant effect in mediating the relationship between grit and nurse performance. The managerial implications of this study suggest the need for evaluation the factors that improve nurse performance at RS X, South Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of liquidity ratios, leverage ratios, profitability ratios, asset turnover ratios, and working capital ratios on financial statement misstatements in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used is panel data covering 52 companies with two years of observation, namely 2022 and 2023. The regression model used is the random effect model. The results indicate that liquidity ratio (CR) has no significant effect on financial statement misstatements, leverage ratio (DER) has a positive effect on financial statement misstatements, while profitability ratio (ROA) has a negative effect on financial statement misstatements. Furthermore, asset turnover ratio (TATO) and working capital ratio (PER) also have no significant effect on financial statement misstatements. These findings contribute important insights for managerial practice in financial statement management and accounting regulation oversight.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors influencing customer churn at PT XYZ, a B2B application-based company selling essential goods. Machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest and Logistic Regression were used to predict churn based on demographic and behavioral variables, including age, membership duration, monthly transaction averages, spending value, and product variety. Transaction data from January 2023 to August 2024 was analyzed to understand partner behavior patterns. The results indicate that the Random Forest algorithm provides more accurate predictions than Logistic Regression, based on evaluation metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and ROC-AUC. This study provides strategic insights for PT XYZ to reduce churn and maintain customer purchase retention through a data-driven approach.

Abstract

This study was conducted to predict the effect of monthly income on 6 other demographic variables. Research data was obtained through internal questionnaire data of PT XYZ involving 393 respondents of middle residential class and 47 respondents of upper middle residential class. Data collection done with a field questionnaire containing 6 demographic questions. The data was analyzed using the CRISP-DM integration method and the Random Forest analysis method. The results of this study state that middle-class residential targets with variables such as Monthly Expenditure and Age Group have a significant influence on Monthly Income and upper-middle-class residential targets with variables such as Age Group, Employment Status and Occupation have a significant influence on Monthly Income.

Abstract

Background: Social media has become an effective platform for marketing products and increasing brand existence amidst intense business competition. Methods: This research aims to examine the influence of social media marketing activities on brand awareness, brand image and brand loyalty in the beauty clinic industry. These concepts were measured as mediating variables, and research was conducted on 160 respondents who were customers of beauty clinics using quantitative methods and SEM-PLS analysis. Result: Social media marketing activities have a positive influence on brand awareness, brand image and brand loyalty. Brand awareness has a positive effect on brand image, which in turn has a positive effect on brand loyalty. Apart from that, brand awareness also has a direct positive influence on brand loyalty. Conclusion: These findings support previous literature which shows that social media plays an important role in shaping consumer perceptions of brands and building consumer loyalty.

Abstract

Indonesia's manufacturing sector faces significant challenges due to deficiencies in quality management and information technology (IT) innovation. The objectives of this research are to analyze the influence of Supply Chain Operational Abilities, Supply Chain Technology and Quality Management on Innovation Capability. Also investigate the mediation effect of Innovation Capability on the impact of Supply Chain Operational Abilities, Supply Chain Technology, and Quality Management on Supply Chain Performance. This study is quantitative research and, based on its objectives, it belongs to the type of explanatory research. The population of this research is the supply chain department employees in manufacturing companies in Indonesia with 330 respondents as the research sample. This research uses partial least squares-structural equation model (PLS-SEM) regression analysis to test the hypothesis. Research results demonstrated that Supply Chain Operational Abilities and Supply Chain Technology have a significant positive effect on Supply Chain Performance, but Quality Management does not significantly affect Supply Chain Performance directly. Innovation Capability serves as a significant mediator for the impact of Supply Chain Operational Abilities, Supply Chain Technology and quality management on Supply Chain Performance.

Abstract

Burnout is a condition of exhaustion that includes physical, emotional, and mental aspects due to prolonged stress in the nursing profession. High workload, significant emotional distress, and lack of institutional support can trigger this condition. Study aims to evaluate the effect of nurse burnout on the quality of patient care and adverse events in a hospital, by considering the role of work engagement as a mediator. Background of this study is based on the increase in patient safety incidents as well as the high turnover rate of nurses over the period 2022 to 2024, which reflects significant challenges in the healthcare system and its potential impact on quality of care. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional research design and sample data in this study was taken using non-probability sampling method, by purposive sampling obtained from nurses in three private hospitals using a questionnaire. There were 282 eligible samples and analyzed with PLS-SEM. Results show the model explained 21.6% of the variation in adverse event occurrence (R² = 0.216), 39.3% of quality of patient care (R² = 0.393), and 2.6% of work engagement (R² = 0.026). A moderate predictive ability was found for adverse events (Q² = 0.168), while quality of patient care (Q² = 0.022) and work engagement (Q² = 0.016) were moderately predictive. CVPAT of this study shows that the PLS-SEM model has better predictive ability compared to the indicator average (IA) and linear model (LM) (negative ALD value and p-value ≤ 0.05) which indicates adequate predictive ability.
