Abstract

The objective of the experiment was to elucidate the effect of pollard utilization on the layer diets and the addition of critical amino acid to produce the eggs with lower content of cholesterol. The experiment used in the study with 315 Lohman strain were randomly limited in to 7 treatments in 7 replications with 15 birds each. The treatments were: R0 (control diet without pollard and without critical of AA), R1 (10% pollard + 50% critical of AA), R2 (10% pollard + 100% critical of AA), R3 (20% pollard + 50% critical of AA), R4 (20% pollard + 100% critical of AA), R5 (30%pollard + 50% critical of AA), R6 (30% pollard + 100% critical of AA). The results showed that the utilization of pollard with amino acid addition had given no significant different on production and eggs quality. The exception result was in yolk color had significantly different. It can be concluded that the treatment of 30% with amino acid addition resulted better production and egg quality

Abstract

The experimental methods and design was carried out by Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments, replicated five times and 21 day long fermentation process. Based on analysis of variance showed that average DM (Dry Matter) content in each treatment amounted were: P0 = 22,83%; P1 = 23,58%; P2 = 25,12% and P3 = 26,95%. Average OM (Organic Matter) content were: P0 = 91,05%; P1 = 91,01%; P2 = 90,59% and P3 = 91,74%. Average CP (Crude Protein) content were: P0 = 20,91%; P1 = 21,08%; P2 = 22,33% and P3 = 22,81%. Based on analysis of variance showed that different level of onggok gave significant difference (P

Abstract

This research aimed to study the effect of Viterna Usage on woof performing production of the broilers finisher. Items witch used in the research were 80 broilers (female) strain Lohman with age 1 – 42 days. Attempt device that used is complete random device (CRD) that using 5 treatment with 4 restating water/day. Treatment description is P0 control; P1 use viterna 0,5 cc/l drinking water/day; P2 use viterna 1,0 cc/l drinking water/day; P3 use viterna 1,5 cc/l drinking water/day; P4 use viterna 2,0 cc/l drinking water/day. The result showed that the effect feed supplement (viterna) with different dose for each treatment do not give the performing production. Suggestion for further more research about influence of viterna usage to woof consume, body weight accretion and woof conversion at broiler with different dose have use woof mixture until viterna usage at broiler with different dose have use woof mixture until viterna usage more effective

Abstract

This study has aims for : (1) knowing the superiority usage of sawdust as the supplementation of rabbit feed. (2). Knowing the factors effected to the degree of the usage sawdust efficiency as rabbit feed supplementation. (3) knowing the degree of feed convertion and feed cost per gain of sawdust fermentation usage as rabbit feed suplementation. By this study, it expected can be : (1) information for rabbit breeder as an alternative feed as sawdust concentrate which can improve the carcass production and anality. (2) the cheap alternative feed for substituting the expensive one. This study has done at husbandry laboratory of Universitas Tribhuwana Tunggadewi Malang. It used 20 local rabbits at the age of 6 months with the weight average 1,2 to 1,5 kg. This study used experiment methods which designed by Complete Random Design (RAL) consists of 4 treatments repeated for 5 times, and there is 4 rabbitd each experiment. The treatments have given are: P0. Fresh vegetable feed + conevntional concentrate; P1: fresh vegetable feed + 2% fermentation sawdust (from fresh vegetable feed); P2: fresh vegetable feed + 4% fermentation sawdust added (from fresh vegetable feed); P3: fresh vegetable feed + 6% fermentation sawdust (from fresh vegetable feed). The variables have been observed are feed consumption, feedd convertion dail weight addition and FCG (Feed Cost per Gain) and IOFC (Income Over Feed Cost).According to this study, it can be concluded that the usage of sawdust increases weight, dry matter consumption, feed costs, and decrease feed cost pr gain and FCR. The usage of 2% fermentation sawddust supplementation gave best results for all variables. It is suggested to use 2% fermentation sawdust supplementation from forage rabbit in order to increase the feed and decrease feed cost per gain.

Abstract

The purpose of the research was to study the effect of Aspergillus rice bran fermentation on intestinal characteristic (pH, intestinal digest viscosity, proteolitic intestinal digest activity) and internal organs weights (liver, bile, pancreas). The materials used for this research were 96 Lohman broiler chicks with average initial body weight of 47,99 ± 4,93 g without difference on the sexes. The method used Complete Random Plan (RAL) with 4 treatments ie control (P0), control + 5% rice bran fermentation (P1), control + 10% rice bran fermentation (P2), and control + 15% rice bran fermentation (P3) with repeated 6 times. If there were significant influence it would be further tested with Duncan’s Multiple range Test (BNT). The result showed that treatments gave very significantly affected (P0.05) on internal organs. The conclusion is that the using of 15% rice bran fermentation gives the best result based on intestinal characteristics

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of two commercial feed and feed the rational against the appearance of chicken. One hundred and twenty chickens unsexed placed randomly assigned to 3 treatment groups feed with four replications, each repeat of the three feed treatments, a commercial broiler starter feed (BR-I) production Japfa Comfeed Indonesia (P1), the commercial broiler starter feed (Br IA) Charoend production Pokphand Indonesia (P2), and a rational feed prepared with crude protein (CP) and metabolizable energy (ME) commercial feed (P3). Feed and water were given ad libitum. Data observed were feed intake, weight gain, feed conversion, protein consumption, balance efficiency of protein, and amino acid consumption. Data were analyzed by analysis of variance of a completely randomized design unidirectional pattern, if there are differences in test followed by Duncan Multiple Range Test. From the results of this study concluded that the two types of commercial diets produce feed intake and higher weight gain and feed conversion efficiency and balance of feed protein is better than rational

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out how the effect of vegetable waste on the quality of carcasses and non-carcasses of broiler chickens. The research used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with five treatments and five tests. P0 (control of feed without vegetable waste), P1 (use of 5% vegetable waste in 100% of feed formulations), P2 (use of 10% of vegetable waste in 100% of feed formulations), P3 (use of 15% of vegetable waste in 100% of feed formulations), and P4 (use of 20% of vegetable waste in 100% of feed formulations) are the difference in the percentage of vegetable waste used in the study. The parameters observed the quality of carcasses and non-carcasses of broiler chickens. The results showed that the use of vegetable waste in broiler chicken feed did not have a significant effect on non-carcass weight but had a real impact on carcass weight. The results showed that the variable weight of broiler carcasses, especially treatment with 15% vegetable waste formulations, gave the best results

Abstract

This research aimed to find a solution for substitute feed for animal feed that is economically complete and increases the omega content. The research method employed a quantitative descriptive approach with four treatments, and the test livestock consisted of dairy goats of the sapera type, with a lactation period of four treatments. The treatment is as follows: P0 : control ration (concentrate Feed), P1: concentrate+5% sancha ichi beans, P2 : concentrate+10% sancha ichi beans, P3 : concentrate+15% sancha ichi beans and corn stalk forage. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the addition of sancha ichi nuts at the 5% level in the concentrate addition increased the omega-9 fatty acid content of dairy goat's milk compared to the content of fatty acids 3 and 6 at the 10% and 15% levels.
