Abstract

Dinamika pendidikan tinggi dan era informasi membawa tantangan-tantangan kontemporer bagi perguruan tinggi. Perguruan tinggi sebagai center of excellence memiliki peran penting dan strategis untuk kemajuan suatu bangsa. Kualitas pendidikan tinggi bisa dicerminkan dalam kualitasperguruan tinggi dan perguruan tinggi yang berkualitas adalah perguruan tinggi yang sehat. Kualitas pendidikan tinggi bisa dicerminkan dalam kualitas perguruan tinggi dan perguruan tinggi yang berkualitas adalah perguruan tinggi yang sehat. Jaminan kualitas adalah tuntutan masyarakat sebagai pelanggan, karena pelanggan adalah komponen utama yang harus diperhatikan. Sejalan dengan hal diatas, maka perguruan tinggi perlu melakukan perubahan dan pembenahan, baik dalam arah serta tujuan perguruan tinggi yang menyangkut kualitas dan kuantitas, sehingga perguruan tinggi mampu bersaing. Konsep model standar mutu perguruan tinggi, model pemberdayaan SDM dan perubahan manajemen perguruan tinggi berbasis mutu, faktor utama manajemen mutu serta indikator-indikatorkebijakan mutu. Pengembangan kualitas pendidikan tinggi membutuhkan penjaminan mutu pendidikan tinggi. Simpulan hasil penelitian berikut menjelaskan bahwa kualitas penyelenggaraan Tridharma perguruan tinggi harus menjadi basis dalam pengelolaan perguruan tinggi, Penyelenggaraan perguruan tinggi menjadi tanggungjawab semua pihak diperguruan tinggi, Yayasan, pimpinan PT, Dosen, mahasiswa, alumni pun pemerintan dan perguruan tinggi sehat adalah perguruan tinggi yang memiliki kemampuan untuk bisa memenangkan persaingan tidak hanya pada “hari” ini tetapi juga dimasa depan berbasis mutu, sehingga mampu mengatasi permasalahan yang muncul.Kata kunci : Perguruan tinggi, Kualitas pendidikan, Mutu Pendidikan Tinggi

Abstract

The flexible benefits concept has been widely adopted by a lot of companies around the world. This research examined whether the concept was relevant to be applied in one of the companies in Indonesia that business on agroindustry, whereas the company has owned various employees through generation such as; Baby Boomers, X, and Y generation (millennials generation).Qualitative approach was applied in this research. Therefore, the instrument of the data was obtained by doing observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysing process wasdone in several steps; accumulating, reducting, and serving the data, also concluding the result. Moreover, the result of this research was explained descriptively and will be tested through credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability test. The result of this research showed that the Baby Boomers, X, and Y generation employees apreciate the concept since it provides them with benefits they need. Indeed, however, it is suggested that if the concept, flexible benefits are effective and efficient, before be implemented in certain company, the management team should support it as well as Compensation and Benefits Departement (C&B) should educate their staff deeply about  the concept in order to be applied well.keyword: Flexible benefits; Gen X; Gen Y; Millenials; Baby Boomers

Abstract

Higher education has a very strategic role in the midst of society. The strategic role is often formulated into three paradigms, namely teaching universities, research universities, and bastion of civilization. Strategic concepts towards a quality college will ideally occur if the Tridarma of Higher Education is increased supported by an information technology system, entrepreneurship, and reliable human resources (Sanusi, et al. 2016). The purpose of the strategy of developing competitiveness of information technology based on information technology is to determine criteria that have contributed to information technology and internal management. This reasearch is used AHP method with the number of respondents is 67 respondents. Criteria in this research are internal management & organization (sub criteria : staff performance, planning system, budget allocation, operating prochecure exellence, tranparant management system), academic athmosphere (academic society relationship, The quality of educational processes, Transparency & accountability in academic life, Motivation to work in all academic activities, Community invomen in academic & teaching-learning), and university competitive sustainability (Innovations, Networks, Reputation, Relevance, dan Commercialization).  This research produced the biggest criteria weight was academic atmosphere. Information technology has a contribution to internal management of 63.2%, while internal management has a large contribution to the academic atmosphere of 79.8%.Keywords: competitiveness, information technology, AHP, universities

Abstract

Development has a dynamic nature, continues to develop and process. One of the development focuses of a society or country is Community Development. That assumption appears based on the fact that society continues to develop and process, therefore there should be a dynamic Community Development Model that can assist the community development process. This study aims to describe tangible and intangible factors for the community empowerment model. Through tangible factor variables (physical capital, human capital, social capital, financial capital, environmental capital and intangible factor variables (motivation, trust, mentoring) can increase empowerment which has implications for the level of community welfare. The method used is descriptive method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). To find out which tangible and intangible factors can improve empowerment which has implications for the level of understanding of the community, the method used to solve problems. Tangible and intangible factors that are significant are good or strategic factors to empower the community. while the most dominant factor is the variable of physical capital with a total effect of 0.312 on empowerment compared to the others. this is because its influence on empowerment is very dominant. and variables that have the greatest total effect on welfare are assistance variables with a total effect of 0.416. this is due to its dominant influence on welfare.Keywords: Tangible, Intangible Factor , Empowerment, Community Welfare.

Abstract

The NED Case Indonesia Model is a study that analyzes the economic value of the time allocation of mothers working in the domestic economy in helping families based on the supply chain strategy. The core of this research is the contribution of mothers working in Palembang City, Indonesia and the supply chain strategy for their sourcing management. This study aims to look at the contribution of mothers working on the family economy and responsibilities as a mother through time allocation in the domestic sector and using the semi log regression method, cross tabulation and opportunity cost. Respondents from mothers who worked as laborers, office workers, food vendors and others, were scattered in South Sumatra, Indonesia. The analysis results, first, the economic value of the average time allocation in the domestic sector Rp. 2,497,000, - per month, above the minimum wage of Rp. 2,294,000 per month. Second, the average allocation of time mothers in the public sector to 37 hours per week and the allocation of time mothers in the domestic sector 48 hours, more than 35 hours per week. Third, using supply chain strategy to increase higher maternal income, the need for increased time allocation efficiency in the domestic sector.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyusun model e-marketing berbasis fintech yangdapat mengembangkan industry pariwisata halal di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakanpendekatan kualitatif dan dilakukan dengan studi literatur. Berdasarkan tinjauan literatur,kemungkinan besar E-Marketing berbasis fintech syariah dapat mendukung perkembanganwisata halal, kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui UMKM, dan meningkatkan minat kunjunganwisata halal di Indonesia. Abstract

The existence of Higher Education has a huge role in nation and state’s life through tri dharma of Higher Education named education, research and community service. Higher Education can produce economic innovations based on knowledge so that, it will increase productivity and nation competitiveness. Higher Education must have strategies that will be carried out, therefore they are able to compete with other higher education according to stakeholder needs. The purposes of this research are to analyze 2 (two) models of information technology relations in the higher education competitiveness development strategy determining the most dominant criteria according to the higher education development direction (Relevance, Academic Atmosphere, Internal Management, Sustainability, Efficiency and Productivity, Access and Equit and Leadership). The method of this reserach is AHP method in wich the data are collected through questionnaires to respondents in collage. The criteria of this research are internal management & organization, academic atmosphere and university competitive sustainability. The results of this research are the information technology relations model with internal management, and the relation model between internal management and efficiency & productivities, and also the most dominant criteria in the higher education competitiveness development strategy are the criteria of Academic Atmosphere, Efficiency and Productivity.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine and analyze the effect of the commitment, trust, and performance management on lecturers performance. It used a survey on 240 respondents of universities selected randomly. Data were analyzed by using path analysis. It shows that that employees trust is affected directly commitment as well as performance management. Performance is affected directly by commitment, and trust as well as employees performance management. Based on those findings it can be concluded that any concern toward, commitment, trust, and employees per-formance management of Private Higher Education in the Kopertis southern Suma-tera region II have an effect on performance employees. Therefore, commitment, and trust, and employees performance management should be put into strategic plan-ning of human resources development in increasing the performance employees of Private Higher Education in the Kopertis southern Sumatera region II, however other variables are necessary to be taken into account properly.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of universities in economic development in the areas of tourism-based communities in Lampung. This study uses secondary data related to tourism, higher education, and macroeconomics of Lampung Province during the period of 2000-2016. The analysis is done by using panel regression method. The results show that Higher Education plays an enormous role in the economic development of the economy in the blood-based areas of tourism and which has tourism potential in Lampung. Most of the villagers who are in tertiary education but work in urban areas as a weakness of their contribution and domino effect on low investment, welfare, and lack of employment. This is why they are wandering to the big city. There is also a social gap which has significant economic disparities. They have access to education, health, and supporting infrastructure. In terms of the number of existing universities, it was found that they have not been able to optimally improve economic development in these areas.
