Abstract

Remaja dituntut harus meneylesaikan tugas perkembangannya. Tugas-tugas tersebut salah satunya adalah memilih serta mempersiapkan diri untuk suatu pekerjaan atau jabatan, serta mempersiapkan diri untuk menikah dan berumah tangga. Oleh karena itu, membuat keputusan karir dimasa depan merupakan tugas perkembangan yang perlu dilalui siswa SMA.  Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Populasi pada penelitian ini seluruh siswa yang berjumlah 1080 siswa. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu cluster random sampling. Adapun jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 265 siswa dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara  konformitas teman sebaya dan kelekatan orangtua terhadap efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karir. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara konformitas teman sebaya dengan efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karir, ada hubungan yang signifikan antara keprcayaan diri dan kemampuan komunikasi interpersonal, ada pengaruh secara simultan antara variabel konformitas teman sebaya dan kelekatan orangtua terhadap efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karir. Saran pada penelitian selanjutnya, disarankan menambah variabel lain yang tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini, ataupun menggunakan variabel pemoderasi dan variabel intervening untuk mengetahui tingkat efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karir

Abstract

The problem in this research is: "How is the implementation of group counseling services that can enhance emotional intelligence of students of Guidance Counseling Department of FIP of Unnes?" The purpose of this research was to find out how the implementation of group counseling services (KKp) can improve student‟s intelligence emotional. This is a classroom action research with first semester students of BK department as subjects. The object of observation in this study is to increase The students' emotional improvement is observed using problem checklist. The research was performed in 3 cycles. The results shows the emotional intelligence of students decreases by average of 4.32% for the first cycle, increases by average of 16.31% for second cycle, and increases by average of 10.60% for the third cycle. The total improvement is 22.52%. Thus, Group Counseling Service (KKp) is effective to improve students' emotional intelligence. Abstract

Intensitas ancaman bencana salah satunya ancaman banjir terus meningkat seiring waktu. Daerah yang berada di wilayah rawan bencana banjir ini harus siap menghadapi bencana tersebut terutama yang berdampak pada dunia pendidikan. Salah satu upaya mememperkecil risiko adalah dengan mitigasi bencana kepada dunia pendidikan. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh 63 siswa kelas 4 dan kelas 5 SD Negeri Batursari 6 Kabupaten Demak. Pengetahuan merupakan faktor utama dalam kesiapsiagaan menghadapi bencana. Program pelatihan ini memiliki manfaat yang signifikan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan bencana banjir, sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya kerugian maupun korban yang ditimbulkan. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan siswa terhadap bencana banjir. Metode yang dilakukan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan, meliputi pretest, pelatihan, postest, dan evaluasi hasil. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pengetahuan dan kesiapsiagaan siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan dengan tema anggap, tangkas, tangguh dalam menghadapi bencana banjir. Dari hasil tersebut diharapkan dapat memberikan masukkan kepada stakeholder, kelurahan, dinas terkait, dan pemerintah Kabupaten Demak dalam mengedukasi, merancang, dan menyiapkan kebijakan mengenai mitigasi bencana.

Abstract

The challenges of premarital counseling arise due to early marriage, divorce, marriage due to prior pregnancy, or various partner problems. As educators for students and prospective couples, counselors can conduct premarital counseling based on needs. The premarital counseling model has yet to be formed for the profession's development, so this study aims to analyze the needs of premarital counseling. The research method type is quantitative descriptive, with 21 students as subjects and a purposive sampling technique. The research instrument was an open questionnaire analyzed using quantitative description through percentages. The results of the study found five basic and salient needs for premarital counseling regarding the conditions for pillars of marriage to be valid, knowledge to form a happy family, setting goals for marriage, selecting criteria for a good husband/wife candidate in religion, and understanding the wisdom behind the prohibition to marry individuals who different faiths. Premarital counselors, as educators who are Islamic, competent, professional, and have integrity, use the Al-Qur'an and Sunnah in answering life's problems with a positive counseling mindset so that they know the relationship with God, application in life, awareness, and meaningful self-quality. The five needs of premarital counseling with an Islamic approach are the basis for developing a premarital counseling model with an Islamic system to be implemented in group and individual counseling. The design of Islamic premarital counseling can be designed for the prevention of early marriages and unwanted cases.

Abstract

Career maturity is the initial step to achieving career success that is truly needed by adolescents to choose and prepare themselves to enter the world of work well. Thus, this study strived for determining the effectiveness of group guidance with a symbolic modelling technique to improve the career maturity of grade twelve students at SMK Negeri 1 Muara Wahau. It was experimental research which used a pretest-posttest comparison group design and involved 8 students in twelfth grade chosen using a purposive sampling technique of 145 population. They were taught using a symbolic modelling technique for seven sessions. Findings showed that the symbolic modelling technique has been effective to improve the career maturity of the twelfth graders at SMK Negeri 1 Muara Wahau. This finding can be an implication for the implementation of group counselling services at Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Academic resilience is important to enhance students in achieving good academic performance in the learning process. The lack of it may affect students’ adaptability, while its underlying factors are such as self-efficacy and locus of control. Regarding this issue, the present study attempted to analy zed the role of locus of control in moderating the effect of self-efficacy on the academic resilience of eight graders all over Kendal Regency. It was quantitative research that surveyed 202 students as the respondents using an instrument developed based on Cassidy’s academic resilience scale (2016), Bandura’s self-efficacy (1997), and Levenson’s locus of control scale (1981). The collected data were examined using the Hayes model 1 moderation test. Findings indicated that self-efficacy had no effect on academic resilience, but locus of control on internality scores provided a moderating effect that strengthened the effect of self-efficacy on academic resilience. In addition, locus of control on powerful other and chance scores had no moderating effect. Thus, further studies are suggested to deepen the examination of the effect of internal locus of control on academic resilience.

Abstract

Self-efficacy career is a very important component in determining career selection after graduating from vocational school. The purpose of the study was to analyze the comparison of the level of effectiveness of SFBC group counseling and reality in improving self-efficacy career. The research method using experimental research with pretest-posttest control group design involving 14 vocational school students, and divided into 2 groups. Data collection techniques using the career self-efficacy scale developed by researchers. Data analysis was conducted using statistical techniques Wilcoxon and Man Whitney Test. The results obtained there is a change in the average value between pretest and postetst . Effective reality group counseling and SFBC group counseling. Reality counseling and SFBC are effective for improving career self-efficacy. BK teachers are advised to use reality group counseling in improving students ' self-efficacy caree

Abstract

Career maturity is a prominent part of a student’s life and career selection. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with a solution-focused brief approach to promote the career maturity of second grade students at SMK Teuku Umar Semarang. It was a quasi-experiment and used a non-equivalent control group design by employing two groups, namely control and experimental groups. In terms of sample, 16 students with low career maturity were chosen from 180 population of second grade students at SMK Teuku Umar Semarang. Following the Wilcoxon Signed Rank and Mann-Whitney Tests, the group counseling with a solution-focused brief approach has been effective to promote the career maturity of the students at SMK Teuku Umar Semarang. Abstract

Meningkatnya kasus kekerasan atau bullying selama tahun 2023 semakin marak terjadi pada anak-anak di Indonesia. KPAI mencatat sebanyak 2.355 kasus pelanggaran yang masuk sebagai laporan kekerasan anak hingga Agustus 2023. Dalam fenomena bullying, salah satu karakteristik pelakunya adalah memiliki empati yang rendah terhadap para korban (Rigby, 2002). Program peningkatan empati merupakan salah satu kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam membantu siswa meningkatkan empati yang memberikan pengaruh terhadap kasus bullying. Pengabdian ini memberikan program untuk melatih empati pada siswa SD Negeri Batursari 6 kabupaten Demak, dengan manfaat dan hasil yang signifikan untuk meningkatkan empati siswa, sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya korban-korban yang ditimbulkan akibat perilaku bullying. Program pelatihan ini diikuti oleh kelas 5 SD Negeri Batursari 6 yang berjumlah 58 siswa didampingi masing-masing guru kelas dan kepala sekolah. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pemberian pelatihan pada siswa SD Negeri Batursari 6 Kabupaten Demak. Siswa berpartisipasi secara aktif terutama dalam sesi materi dan simulasi bersama dengan fasilitator, hal ini merupakan pembentuk sikap kesadaran dan responsif siswa dengan teman-temannya.

Abstract

This study aimed to find out the profile of Bidikmisi  students at Semarang State University (UNNES). This was a quantitative study with descriptive survey design. The subject of this study was 462 university students who were taken by simple random sampling technique. The data were collected by using career adaptability scale.The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics. Based on the result of the analysis, it was found that the average profile of UNNESS Bidikmisi students’ career adaptability was 51% and was categorized as high. The result of this study shows that the attempts in improving students’ career adaptability by the lecturers, parents, and university counselors are needed
