Abstract

Advances in digital technology and the internet have changed the way Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia market and distribute their products. This study analyzes the role of social media and e-commerce in supporting the growth of MSMEs. The results of the study show that the use of social media such as Instagram and TikTok can increase brand awareness by up to 70%, while e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and Tokopedia provide access to a wider market and improve operational efficiency. While many MSMEs face challenges such as limited digital knowledge and resources, collaboration between governments, the private sector, and educational institutions can be a strategic solution to overcome these barriers. This research recommends optimizing digital media through data-driven strategies and partnerships with local platforms to accelerate the growth of MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

Efficient internship recruitment management is one of the important elements in supporting human resource management, but the implementation of services at the Bureau of People's Welfare of the North Sumatra Provincial Secretariat is still constrained by manual processes, lack of system integration, and low efficiency. This study aims to improve the quality of internship recruitment management through the application of the process optimization method using the Waterfall Model approach. This method involves the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing with the black-box method, and maintenance of PHP and MySQL-based systems. The results of the study showed that the information system developed succeeded in increasing work efficiency, reducing errors in data recording, accelerating the selection process, and clarifying access to information for users, both administrators and interns. This system also proved to be responsive to user needs with appropriate feature validation. The conclusion of this study is that the process optimization method is able to significantly improve the performance of internship recruitment services. The researcher suggests that employee training be carried out continuously to ensure mastery of the system, as well as improving technology infrastructure so that the system can adapt to future needs and support the sustainability of services.

Abstract

Kesejahteraan masyarakat merupakan salah satu perhatian utama pemerintah; namun, pelaksanaan layanan di Biro Kesejahteraan Rakyat Sekretariat Daerah Provinsi Sumatera Utara terhambat oleh prosedur manual, integrasi sistem yang kurang memadai, dan efisiensi yang menurun. Penelitian ini berupaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan kesejahteraan dengan menggunakan teknik optimalisasi proses melalui pendekatan Waterfall Model. Pendekatan ini mencakup analisis kebutuhan, desain sistem, implementasi, pengujian black-box, dan pemeliharaan sistem berbasis PHP dan MySQL. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang diusulkan secara efektif meningkatkan efisiensi pekerjaan, meminimalkan kesalahan pencatatan data, dan mempercepat dan memperjelas akses pengguna terhadap informasi. Sistem ini telah menunjukkan respons terhadap persyaratan pelanggan melalui validasi fitur yang sesuai. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa strategi optimalisasi proses dapat secara substansial meningkatkan kinerja layanan kesejahteraan. Peneliti menganjurkan untuk terus menerapkan pelatihan personel untuk mencapai penguasaan sistem, dengan peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan beradaptasi di masa mendatang dan menjaga kesinambungan layanan.

Abstract

Teknologi Informasi memiliki peranan penting dalam mendukung perkembangan berbagai sektor, seperti pendidikan, bisnis, dan pemerintahan. Institusi pendidikan tinggi memanfaatkan Teknologi Informasi untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan mencapai sasaran pendidikan. Di sisi lain, negara-negara maju menggunakan keahlian teknologi untuk menguasai pusat informasi internasional, yang berdampak pada ekonomi dan perdagangan global. Di Indonesia, Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika di Kota Medan berperan penting dalam pengelolaan informasi publik serta dalam menyediakan layanan pemerintahan yang berbasis teknologi. Salah satu langkah signifikan yang diambil oleh Diskominfo Medan adalah pengelolaan kegiatan magang, yang memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk mendapatkan pengalaman langsung di lapangan serta menerapkan pengetahuan yang telah mereka pelajari di bangku kuliah. Namun, tantangan yang besar yang dihadapi saat ini adalah rendahnya kualitas Sumber Daya Manusia, yang terlihat dari meningkatnya jumlah pengangguran, khususnya sebagai dampak dari pandemi. Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Manajemen Magang dengan menerapkan metode Integrasi Sistem diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengelolaan program magang dan mendukung peningkatan kualitas SDM. Dengan penerapan sistem yang lebih terintegrasi, Diskominfo Medan dapat memperlancar pengelolaan data magang, mempercepat proses evaluasi, serta meningkatkan komunikasi antara peserta magang dan institusi. Peningkatan Teknologi Informasi di bidang ini menjadi langkah strategis untuk meningkatkan daya saing Indonesia di dunia internasional, terutama dalam mencetak tenaga kerja yang terampil dan siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja.

Abstract

Abstract: This study discusses the design of a goods storage information system at the Medan Class A Search and Rescue Office to improve the efficiency and accuracy of goods management management. This system is designed to automate the process of storing and tracking goods, which has been done manually and often causes various problems such as tracking difficulties and data inaccuracies. The results of the implementation show that this information system is able to minimize errors, reduce the risk of loss of goods, and ensure the availability of important equipment in real-time. Despite challenges such as user resistance and resource requirements, careful planning and proper training overcame these obstacles. In conclusion, this system contributes significantly in improving the operational performance of the Medan Class A Search and Rescue Office. Keywords: Goods, Information Systems, Storage, Office Abstrak: Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) memiliki peran penting dalam penyelenggaraan pernikahan di Indonesia. Salah satu tugas utama KUA adalah mengelola dokumen pernikahan dengan baik dan efisien. Sistem pengarsipan dokumen yang efektif dan efisien sangat penting untuk menunjang kelancaran tugas KUA. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumen. Abstract

Relief societies (STM) are important in helping people in need through various social programs and activities.This study addresses the issue of STM member logging and financial data management, then addressing misinformation reported by managers or citizens and making it easier for citizens to pay STM dues. This study uses Firebase Realtime database for data storage and Firebase Storage to store photo media; Research and development methods (R&D used as a method in this study, and uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method as its system development method. The author also uses Realtime push Notification by using firebase cloud messaging to build STM applications. The results of the black box system test show that the application runs by the needs of the system, the research carried out has high relevance to facilitate the management of member data, contributions and activity information on STM.

Abstract

Technological advancements have taken place in various fields. Health, education, business, and decision-making are no exception. The KB program was created in order to echo the KB program as an effort to strengthen the KKBPK program and span the birth rate. Therefore, a decision support system using the vikor method was created. The research process was carried out at DPPKB Labuhanbatu. Data collection was carried out by conducting direct interviews to the object of research, namely DPPKB Labuhanbatu. The criteria in this study are the number of pre-prosperous households, the number of family planning participants, regional criteria, the existence of family data and maps, the number of elementary school age population, the number of MKJP, the number of unmet needs, family participation in the family resilience development program, family participation in the family economic improvement empowerment program, youth participation in planning generation activities. This research uses the R&D research method and uses the waterfall method in its system development method. The final result of this study found that the selected KB village was Perbaungan village with an index of 0, second place Bandar Kumbul village with index 0.0588 where the alternative with the minimum Q value was the highest rank.

Abstract

The use of Edmodo in the online learning process can be used in activities carried out within school and outside of school, in the use of Edmodo in class X at SMAN 1 Slawi and MAN 1 Tegal Regency can be maximized with the facilities provided by the school. In its use outside of school, edmodo can be used by students by utilizing computers, laptops or notebooks and android phones that are in students' homes, this research was conducted to analyze the implementation of e-learning learning using edmodo in improving the learning outcomes of class X students in SMAN 1 Slawi and MAN 1 Tegal Regency. The research objectives in this study are as follows: To provide an explanation of the implementation of Edmodo-based e-learning learning in improving the learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 1 Slawi and MAN 1 Tegal Regency. Provide an explanation of the implications of implementing Edmodo-based e-learning in improving the learning outcomes of class X students at SMAN 1 Slawi and MAN 1 Tegal Regency. This research is a classroom action research conducted through a collaborative work process of mathematics teachers, researchers, and school principals as well as other concerned educators and education personnel. In its original term, Classroom Action Research is called Classroom Action Research. Based on the findings and results of research on the use of the Edmodo application, it turns out that it can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes about the concept of absolute value in class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Slawi and MAN 1 Tegal. So overall student learning outcomes have increased when viewed from the average value obtained by students in class X.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi prediksi cuaca harian berbasis teknologi geospasial yang dapat digunakan oleh BMKG Medan untuk meningkatkan keakuratan dan efisiensi dalam menyampaikan informasi cuaca kepada masyarakat. Teknologi geospasial dimanfaatkan untuk mengintegrasikan data meteorologi dengan data spasial, memungkinkan analisis prediktif yang lebih detail dan sesuai dengan kondisi lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan sistem menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML), dan implementasi prototipe. Sistem dirancang untuk mengolah data dari sensor cuaca, data geospasial, dan model prediktif sehingga menghasilkan informasi cuaca harian yang akurat. Sistem ini juga dilengkapi dengan fitur notifikasi cuaca ekstrem dan akses data historis untuk keperluan analisis lanjutan oleh peneliti.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem ini mampu memberikan prediksi cuaca harian yang lebih cepat dan efektif dibandingkan metode manual. Selain itu, sistem ini mempermudah masyarakat dalam mengakses informasi cuaca terintegrasi dalam aplikasi android, sehingga dapat memberikan kemudahan akses dan pemanfaatan data cuaca harian secara real time. Dengan demikian, sistem ini diharapkan dapat mendukung BMKG Medan dalam meningkatkan layanan informasi cuaca serta mitigasi bencana terkait kondisi cuaca ekstremKata Kunci: Sistem Informasi, Prediksi Cuaca, Teknologi Geospasial, BMKG Medan, Analisis Spasial. ABSTRACTThis study aims to design a daily weather prediction information system based on geospatial technology that can be used by BMKG Medan to improve the accuracy and efficiency in delivering weather information to the public. Geospatial technology is utilized to integrate meteorological data with spatial data, enabling more detailed predictive analysis that is in accordance with local conditions. The research methods used include needs analysis, system design using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and prototype implementation. The system is designed to process data from weather sensors, geospatial data, and predictive models to produce accurate daily weather information. This system is also equipped with extreme weather notification features and historical data access for further analysis by researchers. The results of the study show that this system is able to provide faster and more effective daily weather predictions than manual methods. In addition, this system makes it easier for the public to access integrated weather information in the Android application, so that it can provide easy access and utilization of daily weather data in real time. Thus, this system is expected to support BMKG Medan in improving weather information services and disaster mitigation related to extreme weather conditions.Keywords: Information Systems, Weather Prediction, Geospatial Technology, BMKG Medan, Spatial Analysis.
