Abstract

In the era of globalization, rapid technological advancements have significantly impacted the financial sector, particularly stock price movements. This study aims to contribute to financial analysis and investment by providing a predictive tool to help investors make more informed investment decisions. The Random Forest method, a machine learning al-gorithm known for effectively handling complex and heterogeneous data, is used to pre-dict stock price movements. The study utilizes historical stock data from companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) as a case study. The resulting predictive model demonstrates high accuracy, achieving 98% accuracy, with an R-squared (R²) value of 0.94 and a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 0.40%. This research identifies key factors, such as Previous, High, Low, Volume, and Change, that significantly influ-ence stock price movements. The strengths of this study lie in its use of an extensive da-taset, involving 104 stock codes as examples, and its integration of interactive visualiza-tion via Streamlit to enhance data interpretation. This tool is expected to be a reliable solu-tion that provides superior predictive capabilities compared to traditional methods and supports more accurate investment analysis in the stock market.

Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have encouraged the transformation from manual systems to digital-based systems, including in stock management. This research aims to develop a website-based stock management information system using the Reorder Point (ROP) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) methods for Panglong Siagian Bersaudara. ROP is used to determine reorder time, while EOQ calculates the optimal number of items that must be ordered to minimize total costs. The system was designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, resulting in a fast and structured design. The implementation results show that the system is able to increase stock management efficiency by reducing the risk of shortages or excess items, optimizing storage costs, and supporting real-time data-based decision making. With the integration of ROP and EOQ, this system provides a comprehensive solution for stock management at Panglong Siagian Bersaudara.

Abstract

Kesehatan mental merupakan hal yang sangat penting bagi manusia, saat ini angka pengidap gangguan pada kesehatan mental masyarakat di Indonesia cukup tinggi, sekitar 20% populasi di Indonesia itu mempunyai potensi-potensi masalah gangguan jiwa. Telah banyak upaya dalam mengatasi masalah gangguan kesehatan mental seperti layanan konsultasi kesehatan mental secara online. Klinik Utama Bina Atma merupakan salah satu klinik yang melayani konsultasi masalah kesehatan mental. Namun terdapat permasalahan khususnya pelayanan kepada pasien dikarenakan belum adanya sistem konsultasi online bagi pasien, hal ini mengharuskan pasien harus terus melakukan konsultasi secara tatap muka yang menyebabkan proses konsultasi belum dilakukan secara efektif. Oleh karena itu dibangun aplikasi online theraphy berbasis mobile dengan menerapkan Metode Human-Centered Design untuk mempermudah pasien dalam melakukan konsultasi secara online. Aplikasi Online Theraphy Klinik Utama Bina Atma berhasil dibangun dengan menerapkan metode human centered design, dimana aplikasi ini digunakan untuk sesi konsultasi antara pasien rawat jalan dan dokter yang bertugas, terdapat 3 user yang dapat mengakses aplikasi ini diantaranya, staf klinik, dokter dan pasien.

Abstract

Perpustakaan memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran dan peningkatan literasi, khususnya di sekolah dasar. Namun, pengelolaan perpustakaan secara manual sering kali menghadapi berbagai kendala, seperti kurang efisien, risikokesalahan pencatatan, dan sulitnya melacak buku yang dipinjam maupun dikembalikan. Penelitian ini membahas implementasi sistem otomasi berbasis teknologi barcode di Perpustakaan SDN 118195 Desa Pemuda. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mempermudah proses administrasi peminjaman dan pengembalian buku dengan mengintegrasikan teknologi barcode ke dalam database perpustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan perpustakaan, meminimalkan kesalahan, serta memberikan pengalaman yang lebih baik bagi siswa dan staf. Dengan antarmuka yang sederhana namun efektif, sistem ini mendukung terciptanya layanan perpustakaan yang lebih modern, cepat, dan akurat. Implementasi ini diharapkan menjadi model bagi sekolah lain dalam meningkatkan layanan perpustakaan melalui pemanfaatan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

The use of information system technology becomes very useful for companies that require accurate, reliable, fast, relevant and detailed information flow. Diskominfo Kota Medan is one of the implementing elements of the Medan City Government which is engaged in the field of Communication and Information, and has the task of carrying out household affairs in the field of Information and Communication and electronic data processing. In proposing the procurement of goods at Diskominfo Kota Medan, activities are still carried out manually, starting from recording the purchase of goods, stock, distribution, and budget management, making it possible that the process cannot be separated from errors in finding the necessary data. By making this web-based e-procurement information system, it is hoped that it will facilitate existing problems and be better in time efficiency, transparency, including in searching for the necessary data. This information system is designed with the FAST (Framework for the Application System Thinking) development method which consists of problem scope, problem analysis, requirements analysis, logical design and physical design. The design of this information system uses the PHP Programming language, HTML, and MySQL as its storage database.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi, teknologi informasi (TI) berkembang sangat pesat, mendorong perusahaan dan pemerintahan untuk terus memperbarui kegiatan bisnis agar tidak ketinggalan zaman. Dalam pelayanan, banyak yang sudah menggunakan TI untuk mempermudah kegiatan layanan, namun UPT Perlindungan Konsumen Medan masih menggunakan metode manual dalam pengelolaan pengaduan konsumen, sehingga pelayanan pengaduan masih belum efektif. Terdapat masalah signifikan dalam pengelolaan pengaduan konsumen karena hanya ada empat UPT Perlindungan Konsumen di Sumatera Utara (Medan, Siantar, Kisaran, dan Sibolga), yang menyebabkan konsumen dari wilayah yang lebih luas harus datang langsung ke UPT untuk mengajukan pengaduan, memakan waktu dan biaya besar. Selain itu, sistem pelayanan di UPT PK Medan masih manual dan belum terotomatisasi, mengakibatkan pelayanan yang kurang efektif dan efisien serta menyulitkan pegawai dalam menjalankan tugas mereka. Menyadari kesulitan ini, penulis memutuskan untuk mengembangkan sistem baru. Dalam pengembangan, sistem informasi yang ada akan diperbarui menjadi aplikasi berbasis Android dengan menerapkan algoritma First In First Out (FIFO). Dengan dibangunnya sistem ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah konsumen dalam mengajukan pengaduan di UPT Perlindungan Konsumen Medan tanpa harus datang langsung, serta mempercepat penanganan pengaduan. Sistem ini dibangun menggunakan Android karena sifatnya yang open-source dan kemampuannya memudahkan masyarakat mengakses layanan melalui smartphone di mana pun dan kapan pun, serta lebih efisien digunakan oleh masyarakat. Tujuan dari aplikasi ini adalah untuk memfasilitasi konsumen dalam menyampaikan pengaduan secara efisien, dengan memastikan bahwa pengaduan yang masuk diproses berdasarkan urutan antrian.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah berdampak signifikan pada lembaga pemerintah, termasuk Departemen Perhubungan. Divisi lalu lintas menghadapi tantangan meliputi absensi petugas lalu lintas yang masih manual, sulitnya pemantauan lokasi karena jarak penjagaan yang berjauhan, serta laporan kegiatan yang tidak terstruktur akibat pengiriman melalui grup WhatsApp. Selain itu, rekapitulasi data yang dilakukan secara manual menghambat kelancaran kerja dan berisiko menimbulkan kesalahan pencatatan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, diperlukan sistem informasi monitoring berbasis Android dengan algoritma Haversine Formula untuk mempermudah absensi, pemantauan lokasi, dan pengelolaan laporan secara lebih terstruktur. Dalam mengembangkan sistem yang dibangun digunakan metode RAD. Dukungan dari Algoritma Haversine Formula digunakan untuk menghitung jarak pengabsenan petugas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan dapat memberikan kelancaran dalam proses absensi, monitoring lokasi, serta pengelolaan laporan kegiatan petugas secara real-time.

Abstract

Many e-commerce systems focus on business, with various features but do not involve users, to the point of not necessarily in accordance with the needs of the user, in terms of usability, interface, and some features presented information, and some stories from the process used, due to several factors - these factors make users feel difficulty or frustration in using the application and become the cause of decreased user productivity. So the solution is to create an e-commerce application that is easy and simple to use according to user needs with the User-Center Design (UCD) method. What is offered Ease can attract more potential buyers. However, owners or mid-level corporate organizations such as PetZone currently rarely offer easy ways to shop or order services or do it online. Therefore, a web-based system is needed at PetZone that can facilitate owners or employees in sales, services, and marketing, as well as facilitate customers in buying and selling goods or services. From this problem, researchers wrote a Web-Based Sales and Service Ordering Information System so that it is expected to have a positive impact in facilitating the buying and selling process and can increase business competition to market various products and services. The UCD method implements with the aim of producing applications with high utility value, including convenience in use, management, effectiveness, and suitability of applications to user needs. This Web-based E-catalog Information System is to increase efficiency or provide convenience in displaying products in the form of a digital product catalog that has a modern, complete and concise appearance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat penggunaan portal akademik dan e-learning di kalangan mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sumatera Utara, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pola penggunaan tersebut. Permasalahan yang diangkat dalam penelitian ini mencakup sejauh mana efektivitas kedua platform digital tersebut dalam memenuhi kebutuhan akademik mahasiswa, serta kendala-kendala yang menghambat pemanfaatannya secara optimal. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada mahasiswa UIN Sumatera Utara, dengan fokus pada frekuensi penggunaan, fitur yang paling sering digunakan, tingkat kepuasan, serta hambatan yang dialami pengguna. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat penggunaan e-learning lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan portal akademik. Sebagian besar responden menilai kedua platform cukup mudah digunakan, namun kecepatan akses server menjadi kendala utama dalam proses penggunaannya. Selain itu, responden mengusulkan adanya peningkatan fitur, terutama dalam hal kecepatan akses dan integrasi dengan aplikasi notifikasi. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi pengelola perguruan tinggi dalam merancang strategi pengembangan sistem akademik digital yang lebih efisien dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan mahasiswa.

Abstract

Bitcoin’s extreme price volatility has long posed challenges for both investors and researchers seeking reliable forecasting models. Conventional financial approaches often fail to capture the highly complex, nonlinear, and fast-moving nature of cryptocurrency markets. To address this gap, this study develops a Bitcoin price prediction model using Random Forest Regression based on on-chain market data. The dataset was obtained from publicly available historical Bitcoin daily trading records spanning more than five years. Key features include opening price, daily high and low ranges, trading volume, and percentage change. The research was carried out in several stages. First, data preprocessing was conducted through normalization, handling of missing values, and feature engineering. Second, model training was performed with Random Forest, including parameter tuning to optimize predictive accuracy. Third, model evaluation employed R² and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) as primary performance indicators. Fourth, visualization was implemented using interactive charts to allow users to observe short-term price fluctuations and long-term market patterns. The system development followed an iterative methodology inspired by the Streamlit Framework, which is an open-source Python library that simplifies building interactive web applications for data science and machine learning. This approach provides flexibility, enabling rapid experimentation and adaptation to evolving market conditions. The results show that the proposed model achieves near-perfect R² values (approaching 1.0) with consistently low MAPE, highlighting its reliability. Beyond predictive performance, the framework is designed to be scalable, supporting future integration with deep learning methods such as LSTM and external macroeconomic indicators, thus offering both practical utility for investors and academic contributions to decentralized finance research.
