Abstract

This study proposes the use of the Random Forest algorithm to forecast the cryptocurrency Binance's daily prices. With a dataset covering 1992 observations from January 1, 2018, to June 15, 2023, the research focuses on PT. Tennet Depository Indonesia. Through Python implementation, the experimental results indicate that Random Forest is effective in providing accurate price predictions, with an average Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of approximately 1.38% and an average Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of about 4.38. The uniqueness of the system lies in the algorithm's capability to handle market complexities and volatility, offering adaptive solutions to the unpredictable dynamics of the market. Nevertheless, limitations in historical data and market volatility persist as inhibiting factors, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach. The average MAPE and RMSE results provide an indication of the overall reliability of the model in facing cryptocurrency market volatility. These conclusions can contribute to the development of more robust and adaptive models to respond to the evolving market conditions.

Abstract

The Meteorological Equipment Park is a park in which there are several tools for observing meteorological parameters. The Tool Garden contains several tools for observing surrounding weather elements. This application aims to increase efficiency in monitoring and management of meteorological and geophysical tools. With a focus on the user interface, this application is designed to provide information regarding what tools are available at the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Region 1 Medan. The result of this research is the creation of an Android-based BMKG Region 1 Medan Tool Park Application for the community and BBMKG Region 1 Medan using the stages in the (RAD) method, namely Requirements Planning, Design Workshop, and Implementation.

Abstract

Archiving is the task of storing highly important data. All recorded data must be accurate and accessible whenever needed, enabling employees to provide effective services. Manual archiving of letters often leads to errors in data storage and retrieval. Therefore, there is a need for a web-based letter archiving application system to address these issues. This research employs the waterfall method, where the developed system is web-based using HTML, Xampp, MySQL manages the database, and PHP programming language is utilized with the assistance of Visual Studio Code text editor. The goal of this research is to design an archiving system that can be managed effectively and efficiently. Letter archiving is done electronically, where documents are stored in softcopy form and equipped with incoming and outgoing letter reports. This approach reduces the risk of errors in data storage and letter retrieval, as the data is stored in a computer database.

Abstract

Designing an information system for accepting apprentices at the Simalungun Regency BPS office, the Simalungun Regency government is carrying out an internship program to develop skills and improve the quality of the local workforce. As an effort to increase efficiency and effectiveness in accepting apprentices. Acceptance of apprentices at BPS Simalungun Regency will have the main function of managing apprentice data, conducting data searches, sorting prospective apprentices, producing statistical reports, and sending notifications to apprentices. This system meets data security standards and limited access to authorized users. At the implementation stage, this system will validate data input for apprentices to avoid entering data that does not match the desired format, and also has a feature to delete data for apprentices who are inactive or not verified by BPS Simalungun Regency. Increases efficiency and effectiveness in accepting apprentices, streamlines the data verification process.

Abstract

The management of non-employee attendance is a crucial element in building an inclusive and equitable work environment at PT. Nusantara IV Plantation Medan. This study identifies inequality in the existing attendance system, where employees still have a separate and efficient attendance system, this study proposes the design of an Attendance Information System that focuses on fairness and recognition of non-employee attendance. The purpose of this study is to design a system that allows non-employees to have the same attendance access as permanent employees, which can be done through a mobile application using QR-Code technology. The data collection method is carried out through interviews and field observations as well as literature studies, while the development of the system uses the waterfall method. Through this approach, it is hoped that equality will be created in treating the presence of non-employees so that they are also valued and recognized like other permanent employees.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology today, including in the field of E-commerce, has had a significant impact on various sectors, including the livestock industry in rural areas. The livestock industry plays an important role in the local economy, and to increase the efficiency of the sale of livestock products, this study proposes the adoption of a web-based E-commerce system. This system is intended to replace traditional sales methods whose scope and effectiveness are limited. With E-commerce, farmers can market livestock products online, expand markets and increase income. On the consumer side, they can buy livestock products without having to go directly to the farm, helping to optimize time and labor efficiency. This study used an R&D (Research and Development) approach with interviews, observations and literature review. The development of the E-commerce system is carried out in a Waterfall approach to create a platform that provides objective information, supports the purchase and sale of livestock products quickly, efficiently and accurately. accurate, thereby bringing benefits to the seller and the buyer.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji perancangan dan implementasi sistem informasi pendaftaran Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) berbasis web di Kantor Regional VI Badan Kepegawaian Negara (BKN) Medan. Metode pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan adalah Rapid Application Development (RAD), dengan tahapan persyaratan perencanaan, workshop desain RAD, dan implementasi. Pada tahap persyaratan perencanaan, dilakukan analisis kebutuhan sistem untuk menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Sistem ini dirancang untuk memudahkan pendaftaran PKL secara online, dengan persyaratan fungsional dan non-fungsional yang diidentifikasi. Tahap workshop desain RAD melibatkan pengguna dalam merancang antarmuka front-end dan back-end sistem. Antarmuka front-end memungkinkan calon pengguna mengakses fungsi pendaftaran PKL secara online, sementara antarmuka back-end digunakan untuk mengelola data pendaftar PKL. Implementasi melibatkan pengembangan basis data dan antarmuka sistem. Sistem ini menggunakan MySQL sebagai server database dan dapat diakses melalui web browser seperti Google Chrome atau Mozilla Firefox. Tahap ini juga melibatkan pembuatan beberapa tampilan antarmuka, termasuk halaman login admin, dashboard pendaftaran PKL, formulir pendaftaran, dan konfirmasi pendaftaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem informasi pendaftaran PKL berbasis web ini dapat mempercepat dan menyederhanakan proses pendaftaran mahasiswa magang di Kantor Regional VI BKN Medan. Abstract

Asrama Haji Medan merupakan salah satu pusat embarkasi haji di Indonesia. Terdapat beberapa layanan yang disediakan antara lain layanan penginapan, ruang meeting, dan manasik. Saat ini, resepsionis yang membantu pelanggan untuk melakukan reservasi dari beberapa layanan tersebut masih menggunakan form melalui Google Spreadsheet. Kemungkinan kesalahan dalam mengolah data, visualisasi kurang menarik, interaktif dan responsif menjadi beberapa masalah yang sedang dirasakan. Belum lagi dengan tidak adanya pembatasan pada hak akses antara pengguna sebagai admin atau resepsionis. Untuk itu dibutuhkan sistem yang terintegrasi, yang dapat membantu pihak Asrama Haji Medan dengan mudah memvisualisasikan dan mengolah data, mulai dari data pengguna, jenis layanan dan data reservasi. Sistem ini berbasis website dan dirancang menggunakan metode Rational Unified Process (RUP). Penggunaan metode RUP untuk memastikan sistem sesuai dengan yang diharapkan karena sudah melalui beberapa tahapan mulai dari proses identifikasi (analisis), desain sistem, hinggan pengujian. Selain itu, sistem ini juga dikembangkan menjadi Single Page Application (SPA), sehingga website lebih cepat, interaktif dan juga responsif.

Abstract

Keberlangsungan hidup dari suatu keturunan manusia dapat dipertahankan dengan beberapa cara, salah satu ialah proses alamiah manusia yakni menyusui. Banyak manfaat yang terkandung di dalam Air Susu Ibu (ASI), dimana hal ini dibentuk dari campuran emulsi lemak dalam larutan laktosa, garam organik, dan lemak yang kemudian disekresikan oleh kelenjar payudara pada Ibu. Berbagai faktor dapat Berpengaruh pada optimalisisasi pemberian ASI kepada anak, yakni meliputi usia dari Ibu, pendidikan Ibu, pengetahuan Ibu, pekerjaan Ibu, paritas Ibu, dan keterbatasan akses konseling kesehatan mengenai keluhan atau kesulitas selama Ibu tersebut menyusui. Penelitian yang dijalankan memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan diagnosis kuantitas dan kualitas ASI dengan menerapkan metode best first Search. Berdasarkan penelitian sistem pakar kuantitas dan kualitas ASI yang dibagun sudah mengikuti penyususnan sistem pakar dengan metode best first search. Sistem pakar yangdi bangun sudah mampu mendiangnosa kuantitas dan kualitas ASI yang baik, dengan akurat dan valid.

Abstract

The Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), and Trade Office is responsible for managing national affairs related to maintaining the prices of basic commodities, including the implementation of technical instructions and regulations. A significant issue faced by the office is the lack of accessible information on estimated prices of basic commodities for both the public and government. This gap primarily stems from the absence of an information system in the Pematang Siantar City area capable of publishing these estimates. The purpose of this study is to design and develop a web-based system for predicting basic commodity prices, which will record annual price fluctuations for various basic commodities at the Cooperative, SME, and Trade Office. The findings of this study will provide policymakers with a better understanding of commodity prices in traditional markets within Pematang Siantar City, serving as a foundation for future price estimations. This is particularly relevant for market operations aimed at controlling unreasonable price increases. The Least Squares method was employed to calculate the estimated prices, with the system achieving a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 14.20%, indicating that the system can predict market prices with a reasonable degree of accuracy.
