However, the higher return you get, the higher risk you take, so investor has to analyzing them to be balanced. To analyze that issue, Capital Asset Pricing Model is one of the solutions to analyze the stocks that deserves to be invested However, on the one hand CAPM has unrealistic assumptions in determining expected returns as well as risks and solve problems related to expected returns and risks. CAPM is not the only one model to describe it, so research is needed on the influence Capital Asset Pricing Model through stock prices. The aim of this Research is to understand the influence of the Capital Asset Pricing Model through the stock prices. The Population of this research is 27 companies that are listed on the banking sub sectored stocks in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period of 2014 - 2016. Type of the research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The analysis method used the coefficient correlation determination coefficient, simple regression, and significance test (uji t) on SPSS 16.0. Capital Asset Pricing Model is a model that has an expected return as the end result. There are several components in calculating the expected return, consist of actual return, market return, risk free return, and beta risk. Data analysis is done by testing the end result of Capital Asset Pricing Model in the form of expected return with stock price. The test results show Capital Asset Pricing Model has a positive and significant impact on stock prices. So if the component on the Capital Asset Pricing Model rises, the stock price will rise. As a suggestion, there will be better if a company undertake a safe investment strategy such as considering Capital Asset Pricing Model components to get high stock price.

Abstract

Bank as a company have their health assessed to determine the condition of the bank. Least healthy financial performance of banks can be seen through the performance of the bank's profitability. The ratio is important for bank profitability is return on assets (ROA). Data from the period 2009-2010 the average ROA bank has shown a good value with a standard sound bank is above 1.5%. However, the ROA between the bank and the private limited company visible difference, namely the value of the bank's ROA persero higher than private banks. ROA is the high and low values are caused by several factors such as differences in the ratio of the associated CAR, NPL, and the LDR. The purpose of this study to analyze the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), non-performing loans (NPL), and the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR) to the Return On Asset (ROA) of the National Private Banks Foreign exchange go public in Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period research from 2009 to 2010. The analytical method used is a simple regression test to test partially the significance test using t test and regression test to simultaneously test for the significance test using the F test, which previously made the assumption of classical test analysis techniques first. Object of this study is a national private commercial bank foreign exchange 2009-2010. Number of samples used were 24 banks in the sample. With certain criteria that companies belonging to banking in commercial banks to go public and has published its financial statements in the year 2009-2010. Results and discussion indicate that the NPL variables significantly influence the ROA, while the CAR and the LDR variable is not significant to the ROA. While based on the results of simultaneous hypothesis tests (F test) showed that the CAR, NPL, and the LDR has a significant effect on ROA with a significance level of 0.000. Adjusted R2 values obtained in the regression model of 0.835. This suggests that the major influence of the independent variable is CAR, NPL, and the LDR of the dependent variable (ROA) of 83.5% while the remaining 16.5% influenced by other factors. In addition the value of R2 is the R2 value of 0.835 indicates if it is getting closer to a variable - the independent variable (CAR, NPL, and LDR) the stronger influence in explaining the dependent variable (ROA). Overall conclusions of the independent variables studied, the ratio of the greatest influence on the dependent variable is the ratio of NPLs at 82.6% and showed a significant effect of t -14.597 0.000 with significance. It means that the greater the ratio of Non Performing Loan (NPL) cause Return On Asset (ROA) is getting smaller at a bank. Proposed research should better supervise banking companies and credit funds in order to monitor the use of non-performing loans ratio remained at a healthy category so as to avoid the problem of bad loans.

Abstract

Return On Assets (ROA) is a profitability ratio to measure the ability of banks in generating profits so that the greater the ratio of ROA, the better performance of the bank. ROA at conventional commercial banks listed on the IDX continues to decline from 2012 to 2016. The ratios that are expected to affect profitability are CAR, LDR, NPL and NIM.  The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of CAR, LDR, NPL and NIM on ROA. This type of research is explanatory research. The population of this study is 43. The population of this study are 28 banks with criteria of conventional commercial banks listed on the BEI before 2012 and remain registered until the end of 2016. Analysis techniques used are correlation analysis, determination coefficient test, linear regression test, and significance test using SPSS 21 data processing application.  Result and discussion: CAR and LDR have no significant effect on ROA. NPL had a significant negative effect on ROA of 39.2%. NIM positively significant positive to ROA of 32.9%. CAR, LDR, NPL, and NIM have a significant effect on ROA of 53.8% simultaneously.  Conclusion and suggestion: Based on multiple regression test, NPL variables has the greatest influence to ROA so it is expected that banks more to supervise and monitor the provision of credit in order to avoid bad loans.
