Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is an infectious disease that remains a serious public health problem in Indonesia, particularly in West Java Province. This study aims to model the number of DHF cases using Gaussian, Poisson, and Compound Poisson Tweedie regression methods based on 2023 data sourced from the West Java Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the West Java Provincial Health Office. Predictor variables used include humidity, rainfall, real per capita expenditure, poverty ratio, population density, percentage of households with clean and healthy lifestyles, ratio of health facilities, and average altitude of the area above sea level. The analysis results indicate that Gaussian and Poisson regression are less suitable for use because they are unable to handle overdispersion in the data. The Compound Poisson Tweedie model provides the best performance with the smallest Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) value. Three variables that significantly influence the number of DHF cases in West Java in 2023 are rainfall, real expenditure per capitaand the ratio of health facilities, so that the resulting model equation is  (2.233 plus 0.001387 times rainfall plus 0.000022 times real per capita expenditure minus 0.015250 times health facility ratio), indicating that rainfall and expenditure increase DHF cases, while more health facilities reduce them.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) remains a major health problem in West Java Province, which has a tropical climate and dense population. This study aims to model DHF cases using Gaussian, Poisson, and Negative Binomial regression. The data used include the number of DHF cases in 2024 as the response variable and eight predictor variables, namely humidity, amount of rainfall, real expenditure per capita, poverty ratio, population density, percentage of households with clean and healthy lifestyles, ratio of health facilities, and average height of the area above sea level (ASL) according to rainfall stations. Data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the West Java Provincial Health Office. The analysis results showed that Poisson and Gaussian regression were less suitable because they were unable to handle overdispersion in the data. The Negative Binomial model provided the best results with the smallest AIC value. Two variables that significantly influenced the number of dengue cases were population density (variable 5) and the ratio of health facilities (variable 7)

Abstract

Pendidikan di Indonesia saat ini mengalami banyak perubahan, salah satunya muncul keterampilan yang harus dimiliki setiap siswa yaitu keterampilan abad 21. Dengan itu, muncullah pembelajaran berbasis proyek untuk mendorong siswa memiliki keterampilan abad 21. Artikel ini membahas pentingnya perancangan modul pembelajaran sebagai landasan pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang mendorong kolaborasi dan kreativitas siswa. Melalui metode penelitian studi literatur konsep pembelajaran berbasis proyek, artikel ini menyoroti strategi perancangan modul yang tidak hanya memandu siswa dalam pencapaian kompetensi, tetapi juga memberikan ruang bagi kolaborasi aktif dan pengembangan potensi kreatif siswa. Diharapkan artikel ini dapat memberikan wawasan mendalam tentang cara mengintegrasikan pembelajaran berbasis proyek ke dalam modul ajar, membentuk lingkungan pembelajaran yang dinamis, inklusif, dan merangsang perkembangan kreativitas siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) To determine whether the increase in student learning outcomes taught with a scientific approach with PowerPoint media is higher than the increase in student learning outcomes taught with conventional models (2) To determine student responses to the application of a scientific approach with PowerPoint media on the subject of chemical bonds. The population of this study were all students of class X MIA SMA Swasta Amir Hamzah Medan, as many as 40 students. The sample in this study was taken using total sampling technique. The samples taken in this study were 2 classes, namely class X MIA-1 as the experimental class and X MIA-2 as the control class. Both classes were given different treatments, the experimental class with a scientific approach and PowerPoint media , while the control class was taught with a conventional model. From the posttest results, the average value of student learning outcomes in the experimental class was 88.75 and the control class was 81.50. From the N-gain results, the percentage increase in learning outcomes of the experimental class was 84.9 percent and the control class was 76.2 percent. Based on the N-gain calculation value, the increase in learning outcomes taught with a scientific approach and PowerPoint media is higher than the increase in student learning outcomes taught with conventional models. Student response to the scientific approach and PowerPoint media on chemical bonding material has a percentage of 80.25 percent and is categorized as good.

Abstract

Peniadaan mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris pada Kurikulum 2013 dan pengadaan kembali mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris pada Kurikulum Merdeka memberikan dampak yang sangat besar bagi bangsa Indonesia, khususnya peserta didik jenjang SD. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dampak media Scramble Word terhadap kemampuan vocabulary siswa kelas IV SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review. Penelitian ini diawali dengan mencari artikel-artikel yang berkaitan dengan topik penelitian yang dibahas. Kriteria artikel ilmiah bersumber dari jurnal nasional maupun internasional dengan rentang kemutakhiran 10 tahun terakhir, yaitu 2014-2024. Hasil analisis artikel ilmiah bahwa media scramble word memberikan dampak pada peningkatan kemampuan vocabulary, ketertarikan belajar, dan peningkatan efektifitas pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

PLTB (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu) merupakan salah satu energi terbarukan yang memiliki potensi besar di Indonesia. Dengan memanfaatkan angin sebagai sumber energi, pembangkit listrik tenaga bayu mampu menghasilkan listrik tanpa emisi gas rumah kaca. Beberapa masalah yang terjadi adalah tenaga angin yang digunakan untuk memutar turbin sangat rendah, sehingga listrik tidak bisa dihasilkan. Dengan adanya generator tipe axial flux masalah tersebut bisa teratasi. Karena model generator ini memiliki anti coging sehingga dapat berputar dalam keaadaan kecepatan angin rendah. Generator ini menggunakan konfigurasi 3 phasa dimana terdapat 9 kumparan dan 6 pasang kutub magnet jenis NdFeB. Axial flux generator dapat diintegrasikan dengan menggunakan jenis turbin angin vertikal. Tujuan Penelitian ini dimulai dari tahap perhitungan, perancangan, dan pengujian generator. Pengujian yang dilakukan ada 3 tahapan yaitu pengujian tanpa beban, pengujian dengan beban resistor, dan pengujian dengan berbagai varian lampu led dan bohlam. Pada pengujian tanpa beban, generator dapat menghasilkan output 21,62 V pada kecepatan 1506 RPM. Kemudian pada pengujian dengan beban resistor 12 ohm / 20 watt, generator menghasilkan daya 9,79 Watt pada kecepatan 1509 RPM. Kemudian pada pengujian yang ketiga dilakukan dengan varian lampu led 1,5 Watt, 3 Watt, 5 Watt, 10 Watt, dan bohlam yang dirakit secara paralel.
