Abstract

The number of women entering the climacteric phase is expected to increase. Menopausal women will experience a decrease in the amount of estrogen, causing various discomforts. Soybeans and their processed products act as natural estrogens. Objective: to increase perimenopausal women's knowledge about the utilization of soy and its processed products as an effort to reduce discomfort in perimenopausal women. Methods: counseling, discussion, question and answer, and pretest and posttest. Results: there was an increase in the knowledge of perimenopausal women's who had good knowledge of 23,4%, that is, from 66,7% it increased to 90,1%. Conclusion: there is an increase in perimenopausal women's knowledge about the use of soy and its processed products as an effort to reduce discomfort in perimenopausal women. It is recommended for perimenopausal women to increase consumption of soy and its processed products to reduce complaints during perimenopause.

Abstract

The toddler period (golden period) is a golden period that is very sensitive to the environment and this period is very short and cannot be repeated. Stunting is linear growth that fails to reach its genetic potential as a result of poor diet and infectious diseases. Many parents have difficulty dealing with the problem of lack of appetite in children. Drugs are always the first choice for this condition. Drugs that increase appetite in the long term cause other chronic diseases. Multivitamins in the form of fruits that have high nutritional value, taste sweet, are cheap and easy to obtain are Carica Papaya. The aim is to increase the knowledge of mothers under five about the benefits of papaya fruit (Carica Papaya) on appetite as an effort to prevent stunting. Based on the results of community service regarding Health Education Regarding the Utilization of Papaya Fruit (Carica Papaya) Against Children's Appetite as a Stunting Prevention Effort which was carried out on December 10, 2022. This community service activity went smoothly with the participation of 30 mothers with toddlers. The participants were very enthusiastic. As many as mothers have used papaya fruit (Carica Papaya L) as an appetite enhancer as an effort to prevent stunting.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (CED) often affects women of childbearing age. The Local Area Monitoring Report of mothers for Karang Pule Health Center in November 2021 found 5.74% (19 people out of 73 pregnant women) experienced The purpose of this service was to increase awareness and the eating behavior of women of childbearing age.The service activity "Counseling on the diet of women of childbearing age" used method which begins with identification of eating patterns and ends with an evaluation of changes in women of childbearing age weight that is carried out in the Dasan Kolo environment, Jempong Baru village. After the dedication, there was an increase in women of childbearing age weight by 1 kg at 66.67% women of childbearing age and there was 33.33% women of childbearing age weight by 2 kg at. This increase in women of childbearing age weight indicated that counseling on women of childbearing age diets was able to change the dietary behavior who experience CED. It is hoped that women of childbearing age can adopt a diet in accordance with the recommended number of servings of adequate energy and protein that has been understood. In addition, the study program can follow up by observing and evaluating the eating behavior of female students who have received this counseling.

Abstract

Introduction: Iron is an essential microelement for the body, especially needed in the formation of blood cells. Pregnancy anemia causes blood-related changes resulting in a decrease in Hb levels in the blood. Data obtained from the Kediri Community Health Center, West Lombok Regency in 2021, the prevalence of anemia in mothers Pregnancy rate of 28.55% is the second highest in West Lombok Regency. Objective: To determine the relationship between economic status and anemia status in pregnant women at Kediri health centers. Methods:Type of analytical survey research with a Cross Sectional study approach. The sample for this research was 63 respondents with a Purposive Sampling technique, the inclusion criteria were pregnant women who were willing, able to read and write, and without complications. Data collection is carried out using an Hb meter that has been tested and calibrated by an expert at the time of purchase. The questionnaire sheet has also been tested for validity and reliability. Analysis uses the chi-square statistical test Results: Characteristics of respondents based on age 20-35 were 39 respondents 62.0%, working as housewives 26 respondents (41.2%), low economic status 44 respondents (65.0%), chi-square results showed that the square obtained p-value was 0.023, p value < 0.05.Conclusion: There is a relationship between economic status and anemia status in pregnant women at the Kediri health center

Abstract

Kebutuhan nutrisi ibu hamil merupakan komponen yang sangat penting bagi kehamilan harus ditekankan selama kehamilan. Kurangnya informasi yang disampaikan selama kunjungan antenatal seringkali tidak menjadi hal yang terdepan dalam KIE, namun lebih banyak pada komplikasi-komplikasi yang akan terjadi pada kehamilan. Dampak buruk bila terjadi kekurangan nutrisi diantaranya dapat terjadi KEK, anemia dan bahaya bagi janin seperti IUGR, BBLR dll . Upaya peningkatan pengetahuan tentang nutrisi diantaranya adalah penyuluhan kesehatan seperti kegiatan pendidikan yang dilakukan dengan cara menyebarkan informasi sehingga masyarakat sadar, tahu dan mengerti, tetapi juga mau dan biasa melakukan suatu anjuran yang ada hubungannya dengan kesehatan serta terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap.Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi mengenai nutrisi pada ibu hamil untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu hamil. Hasilnya, dari sekitar 30 ibu hamil yang mengikuti kegiatan ini berhasil dilakukan penilaian terhadap skor pretest dan post test. terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan,dengan 23 (76,7%) ibu hamil yang memiliki pengetahuan yang baik dan 23,3% ibu hamil memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup tentang nutrisi ibu hamil. Pendidikan kesehatan tentang nutrisi pada ibu hamil terbukti dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu tentang nutrisi pada kehamilan.

Abstract

Anemia pada kehamilan merupakan masalah yang sangat penting karena yang berpotensi membahayakan ibu dan janin selama kehamilan. Salah satu gizi yang dapat meningkatkan kebutuhan selama hamil adalah zat besi. Tanaman lokal merupakan jenis tanaman yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai salah satu penceghan anemia. Jenis tanaman lokal yang dimanfaatkan yaitu daun sawi, daun kangkung, daun ubi jalar, daun singkong.Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan penyuluhan mengenai tanaman lokal untuk meningkatkan kadar hb ibu hamil sebagai pencegahan anemia selama kehamilan. Hasil pengabdian ini terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan ibu hamil setelah diberikan penyuluhan kesehatan tentang jenis tanaman yang meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin pada ibu hamil yaitu pengetahunan ibu hamil yang memiliki pengetahuan baik, dari 18,8% meningkat menjadi 62,5% setelah mendapatkan pendidikan kesehatan, di mana peningkatannya sebesar 43,7 %. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan post-test uji statistik terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan setelah diberikan tindakan berupa penyuluhan dengan topik utama jenis- jenis tanaman lokal untuk yang mampu meningkatkan kadar hemoglobin sebagai salah satu upaya pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil. Kegiatan penyuluhan menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat.

Abstract

Latar belakang:Anemia pada kehamilan merupakan masalah yang sangat penting karena yang berpotensi membahayakan ibu dan janin selama kehamilan. Salah satu gizi yang dapat meningkatkan kebutuhan selama hamil adalah zat besi, apabila kadar zat besi ibu hamil kurang maka terjadi keadaan yang anemia, hal tersebut terjadi karena zat besi merupakan mikroelemen yang esinsial bagi tubuh. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengindentifikasi pemanfaatan tanaman lokal sebagai uapaya pencegahan anemia pada ibu hamil di wilayah lingkungan jempong baru. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian diskriptif dengan menggunakan penelitian survey dengan responden ibu hamil yaitu 50 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan total sampling instrument menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil Analisis univariat 70,0% ibu memanfaatkan tanaman lokal, jenis tanaman yang paling banyak di manfaatkan oleh ibu adalah daun ubi jalar 42,0%, ketresedian tanamaan loka 45,0%.Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian yang di dapatkan bahwa Sebagian besar ibu memanfaatkan tersedian tanaman lokal dengan mengkonsumsi tanaman lokal yang tersedia seperti daun sawi, daun ubi jalar, daun singkong, daun kangkong untuk mencegah anemia selam kehamilan.dan yang paling banyak di konsumsi adalah daun ubi jalar.

Abstract

Kualitas generasi penerus bangsa sangat ditentukan oleh remaja perempuanyang berperan sebagai calon ibu. Kematangan fisik dan psikologis remajaperempuan sangat mempengaruhi kesiapan perempuan menjadi seorang ibu didalam sebuah keluarga yang sehat. Data Riset kesehatan dasar (Riskesdas) tahun2018 melaporkan bahwa provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) mempunyaiperempuan usia >18 tahun kurus berdasarkan IMT sebanyak 12%, dan kotaMataram mempunyai perempuan usia >18 tahun kurus terbanyak kedua(14,02%) setelah kabupaten Lombok Utara yaitu 15,99%. Survei awal yangdilakukan pada 20 orang mahasiswi di STIKes Yarsi Mataram pada bulan Pebruari2021 ditemukan 30% mahasiswi mempunyai Lila <23,5 cm. Keadaan inimenunjukkan bahwa tidak semua mahasiswi di STIKes Yarsi Matarammempunyai status gizi yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasistatus gizi mahasiswi STIKes Yarsi Mataram sebagai deteksi awal kejadian kurangenergi kronis di lingkungan perguruan tinggi kesehatan. Penelitian inimenggunakan rancangan deskriptif observasional dengan pendekatan potonglintang. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswi Program studi Keperawatanjenjang D3, program studi kebidanan jenjang D3 dan program sarjana semester 1dan 3 di STIKes Yarsi Mataram. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan tehnikpurposive sampling pada mahasiswi semester 1 dan 3 yang menggunakan metodepembelajaran luring dan tidak sedang praktek di luar kampus dengan jumlah 176orang mahasiswi. Data primer yang diambil berupa BB, TB, dan Lila. Penelitian inidilakukan pada bulan September 2021 - Januari tahun 2022 di STIKes YarsiMataram. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan sebagian besar mahasiswi STIKes YarsiMataram mempunyai IMT normal (18,5-25), meskipun terdapat sebagian kecilmahasiswi yang mempunyai IMT kurus (<18,5) dan IMT gemuk (>25). Sebagianbesar mahasiswi STIKes Yarsi Mataram mempunyai Lila normal (>23,5 cm),namun sisanya mempunyai Lila risiko KEK (<23,5 cm). Diharapkan adanyapenningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku mahasiswi tentang pola makan,asupan zat gizi dan body image secara intensif dari dosen bekerjasama denganahli gizi.

Abstract

The quality of the nation's next generation is largely determined by adolescent girls who act as future mothers. The physical and psychological maturity of adolescent girls greatly affects a woman's readiness to become a mother in a healthy family. Basic health research data (Riskesdas) in 2018 reported that west Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province had women aged >18 years thin based on BMI as much as 12%, and Mataram city had the second most thin >18 years old women (14.02%) after North Lombok district which was 15.99%. An initial survey conducted on 20 female students at STIKes Yarsi Mataram in February 2021 found that 30% of female students had Lila <23.5 cm. This situation shows that not all female students at STIKes Yarsi Mataram have a good nutritional status. This study aims to identify the nutritional status of STIKes Yarsi Mataram students as an early detection of chronic lack of energy events in the health college environment. This study used an observational descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study is students of the Nursing study program at the D3 level, the midwifery study program at the D3 level and the undergraduate program in semesters 1 and 3 at STIKes Yarsi Mataram. The sample was taken using purposive sampling techniques for 1st and 3rd semester students who used offline learning methods and were not practicing outside the campus with a total of 176 female students. The primary data taken are in the form of BB, TB, and Lila. This research was conducted in September 2021 - January 2022 at STIKes Yarsi Mataram. The results of this study found thata large number of STIKes Yarsi Mataram students had a normal BMI (18.5-25), although there were a small number of female students who had a thin BMI (<18.5) and a fat BMI (>25). Most of the students of STIKes Yarsi Mataram have a normal Lila (>23.5 cm), but the rest have a risk Lila of SEZ (<23.5 cm). It is hoped that there will be an intensive increase in the knowledge, attitudes and behaviors of female students about diet, nutrient intake and body image from lecturers in collaboration with nutritionists.

Abstract

Child growth and development in Indonesia still needs serious attention; the rate of delayed growth and development is still quite high, with around 5-10% experiencing general developmental delays. The child population in Indonesia is about 33% of the total population, which is around 83 million, and every year, the number of child population will increase. This service aims to increase mothers' knowledge about the growth and development of children aged 1 to 3 years. The method in this service is Participatory Learning Action (PLA). The results of this service showed an increase in mothers' knowledge about the growth and development of toddlers from 14.6% to 93% after receiving education. This service concludes that mothers with children aged 1 to 3 years are expected to always monitor children's growth and development as one of the detections of growth and development abnormalities.
