Abstract

Background: The dengue prevention socialization program at Pondok Pesantren Raudhatul Ulum, Bojonegoro, was conducted to anticipate the spread of dengue fever during the rainy season. Factors such as population density, health promotion, and community attitudes influence dengue cases, while public knowledge has yet to show a significant impact. The program aimed to educate students on the importance of healthy living and maintaining environmental cleanliness to prevent dengue fever. Methods: The program was designed in four stages: socialization, technology implementation, mentoring and evaluation, and sustainability. The focus was on education, the use of simple tools, and enhancing the capacity of health cadres. Sustainability was ensured through integration into the boarding school’s routine agenda, active partner involvement, and collaboration with health institutions. Results: The dengue prevention socialization program at Pondok Pesantren Raudhatul Ulum, Bojonegoro, on November 11, 2024, utilized a Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) approach that actively engaged students. The activities included educating the students on the 4M Plus method, distributing guidebooks, and providing larvicide. The main challenge was ensuring students' consistency in implementing preventive measures, while sustainability opportunities were supported through regular monitoring. Conclusions: The dengue prevention socialization program at Pondok Pesantren Raudhatul Ulum successfully increased students' knowledge and participation through the 4M Plus method and an interactive approach, although consistent implementation of preventive measures still requires further monitoring.

Abstract

The implementation of national education must ensure equitable distribution of educational facilities. However, based on data from the Regional Education Balance Sheet (NPD) in 2021, elementary schools in Bojonegoro District still need to meet the criteria for overall equality. It is mainly related to educational capacity and facilities. It is necessary to group elementary schools based on capacity and educational facilities to solve this problem by applying the clustering method. The research aims to conduct a comparative study of three clustering methods to get the best way to be used for clustering elementary schools in Bojonegoro Regency. This study applies three clustering methods, namely K-Means, K-Medoids, and Random Clustering, which are compared to get the best clustering method. The data used is secondary data representing educational capacity and facilities, namely the number of students, teachers, classrooms, and study groups (Rombel) from the Bojonegoro District Education Office. Obtained the resulting comparison of clustering methods with the best way falls on the K-Means method, which forms 5 clusters. It explained that elementary schools with educational capacity and facilities get highly complete 14 schools (cluster_3), complete 236 schools (cluster_2), fairly complete 176 schools (cluster_4), less complete 310 schools (cluster_1), and incomplete 177 schools (cluster_0). The conclusion that comparing Clustering methods obtained grouping of Elementary School data with the best way falls on the K-Means method by getting 5 clusters.

Abstract

Population data is an important piece of information that is useful for regional planning and development. Insight into the state of an area is more straightforward to observe if there are grouped sub-districts. In this case, data mining techniques can identify patterns and relationships in population data. The K-Means algorithm is a clustering technique that divides data into groups or clusters based on similar characteristics. This research aims to apply the K-Means method with various approaches to clustering sub-districts in the Bojonegoro district according to population data. The research method used is a quantitative method with an exploratory study in the application of the K-Means method with a variety of approaches, namely the use of the Kernel K-Means method by utilizing the mapping function to map data to a higher dimension before the clustering process. In addition, the Fast K-Means method is used, which reduces the model training time to improve the cluster-centered recalibration problem as the amount of data increases. The data source used in this research is secondary population data in the form of birth, death, migrant, and moving variables obtained from the Satu Data Bojonegoro website developed by the Bojonegoro Regency Government. It is found that the best K-Means approach is the Kernel K-Means method with a number of clusters of 5. The performance of the cluster method is evaluated by measuring the average distance within the cluster. The data coordinate pattern in the Kernel K-means method clustering shows a smooth initial trend when the value of the number of clusters is 5 so that the clusters formed are obtained clearly. The conclusion from this study's results is that the K-Means method's best approach in grouping sub-districts in Bojonegoro district is the Kernel K-Means approach.

Abstract

Poverty is the socio-economic condition of individuals or groups whose fundamental rights to maintain and develop a decent life are unmet. The poverty rate in Bojonegoro was 12.21% in 2022. In order to solve this problem, a poverty model is needed to serve as a reference for the further development of Bojonegoro district. This study aimed to determine the impact of social aid and APBD on poverty in Bojonegoro district. The methodology used in this study is his SEM-PLS quantitative research modeling of poverty using the WarpPLS application. The data sources for this study are the following secondary data in the form of Bojonegoro District Poverty Data, Area Appropriations Budget (APBD), and Social Aid (Bansos) from 2019 to 2022. Survey data were accessed online through the official website. Information from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and Satu Data Bojonegoro website. The results of this study show that SEM-PLS was applied correctly, and satisfactory results were obtained in terms of overall fit size, measured fit size, and structural fit size. The analysis results show that the variable APBD significantly impacts poverty with a proportion of -0.91. It means that the higher the realization of APBD, the lower the existing poverty rate. Social Aid variables up to -0.09 do not significantly impact poverty. It means that the amount of social benefits you receive does not affect poverty. The conclusion is that the factors that influence poverty in Bojonegoro district are its APBD variables.

Abstract

The research goal would be to understand all potential influences on the amount of rice available within every sub-district in the Bojonegoro district. Geographically weighted regression (GWR), a technique used for this study, uses kernels: adaptive bisquare, fixed bisquare, adaptive gaussian, and fixed gaussian. The state office for food security and farming inside the Bojonegoro district provided secondary statistics for the 2018 year that included information on the population, the harvested area, the rice production, and the rice supply. The outcomes from the kernel-fixed gaussian elected model using AIC minimum criteria for the GWR model. The implementation's conclusion is due to the impact of variety in locations. The next research recommendation is a time-series spatial study of the rice problem.

Abstract

There is less than optimal utilization of the red onion harvest, so that many red onions are sold to collectors at standard prices, while some red onions that do not meet the requirements are usually wasted. In addition, there are still many unemployed people in Kepokidul Village, some of whom are directed by the village head to look after the parking lot at the Pedang Reservoir. This reservoir is a potential and motivation for the village SMEs to produce and market processed products. Therefore, KKN UNUGIRI held training on processing processed products from red onions that will become high-value and healthy processed products. The purpose of this Community Service (PkM) is to improve the ability of the village community to produce processed products from red onion raw materials and market them. Thus, creating an increase in the number of SMEs in Kepohkidul Village which reduces unemployment. The target of the training provided was 30 PKK mothers from Kepohkidul Village. The method of implementing PkM was carried out in four activities over three days, namely extracting community knowledge, socialization, training, and evaluating understanding. The results of this PkM activity are an increase in the knowledge and insight of the village community regarding processed red onion products, as well as increasing options for village SMEs for marketed products. The evaluation resulting from this training resulted in 75% of participants experiencing an increase in knowledge and insight related to processed red onion products. The conclusion that can be drawn is that unemployment can be reduced by increasing the number of village SMEs by providing training on processed products and marketing

Abstract

Abstract : This Mujahadah and Istighosah activity was carried out in order to guard and develop the spirituality of the community and students in the Raudhatul Ulum Campurejo Bojonegoro Islamic Boarding School. A person's spiritual level sometimes rises, sometimes falls, so efforts are needed to stabilize this condition. For example, there is a student who has just entered the boarding school and is naughty at first, then after being at the boarding school and graduating, he becomes an obedient child. This cannot be separated from the efforts of a kyai or ustadz, namely dhohir and inner efforts. Dhohir's efforts include teaching, directing, educating and so on. Meanwhile, inner efforts are prayer, penance, mujahadah, istighosah and so on. These two efforts must be carried out in balance. So we, as a community service team, want to hold Mujahadah and Istighosah assistance activities to improve the religious spirituality of the community and students in the Raudhatul Ulum Campurejo Islamic Boarding School, Bojonegoro. The Community Service method used is the Participatory Action Research model. Namely, the mentor goes directly to the field to oversee the mentoring process from the beginning to the end of the activity. The stages or steps that will be taken in carrying out mujahadah and Istighosah assistance to increase religious spiritual intelligence are as follows: Identification of needs and goals, Determining companions, Gathering information, Forming groups or clusters, Preparing programs and schedules, Implementing mujahadah and istighosah practices, Teaching mujahadah and istighosah material, Monitoring and evaluation, Support and motivation and finally program evaluation Keywords: Mujahadah, Istighosah, Spiritual intelligence

Abstract

This dedication is the author's effort to invite re-examination of the importance of character cultivation in early childhood. Lately, the spotlight on morals is quite serious, in other words, the quality of morals is still far from expectations. The quality of morals must always be strived for to be even better. School as an educational environment is a solid foundation in the process of character building. Character building requires early habituation because character cannot be formed in a short time. The role of education, especially school education, will greatly help in the formation of the main person. The school is one of the institutions responsible for the implementation of education that determines the success or failure of children's education. Therefore, teachers in Islam have the obligation to provide education and guidance to their children as a mandate from Allah SWT. The implementation method chosen is Participatory Action Research.  The PAR method is a service method that requires community participation and action as the main actors in the preparation and implementation of the program. Meanwhile, the researcher is a facilitator who helps students or service subjects so that they can develop and implement the program optimally until it is successful.

Abstract

Islamic stocks in Indonesia face challenges in portfolio management due to the limited number of issuers and low diversification. The change in market regime from bullish to bearish makes the portfolio more vulnerable, especially since some investors do not understand the concept of portfolio and the importance of determining optimal asset weighting. In addition, the allocation strategy used tends to be static and minimizes the utilization of sharia-based technical analysis, making investment decisions less responsive to market dynamics. This study aims to compare the performance of two portfolio allocation algorithms, which integrate Markov-switching models and Heiken Ashi candlestick patterns for trend identification, respectively. The research method used is a quantitative approach with experimental techniques or computational simulations that aim to test the performance of the algorithm in producing optimal portfolio weights. The portfolio model developed is an extension of the Markowitz model with two different integration approaches, namely the Markov-switching model and the Heiken Ashi candlestick pattern. Portfolio weight optimization on each algorithm is performed using the Generalized Reduced Gradient (GRG) method. The Markov-switching model is a time series model used to identify changes in the average market regime. In contrast, the Heiken Ashi pattern is used to detect trend changes in stock price movements. The time series data used consists of daily stock prices of Islamic stocks listed in the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII) during the period January 2019 to August 2022, obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study finds that the Markowitz model integrated with the Markov-switching model is able to effectively identify market regimes and improve efficiency in portfolio weight optimization. These findings provide valuable insights for Islamic equity investors in their risk mitigation efforts while helping to align expected returns with long-term investment strategies that are adaptive to bullish and bearish market conditions.
