Abstract

Creative Economy SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) Indonesia, as part of micro, small, and medium enterprises, play a vital role in the national economy with their creative and innovative value addition. This sector encompasses 17 subsectors, including culinary, film, and applications. Malang City, recognized as one of Indonesia's creative cities, exhibited significant growth with 12,345 creative economy MSMEs in 2022, a 10.5% increase from the previous year. The three dominant subsectors are culinary, applications and games, and film, video, and animation. However, MSMEs in Malang face challenges such as lack of capital, low product quality, unappealing packaging, and difficulty in reaching markets. To address these issues, an innovative collaboration platform has been developed, connecting MSMEs with communities, investors, academics, and the government. Through these efforts, MSMEs are expected to enhance competitiveness, product quality, and market access, supporting sustainable growth in the creative economy sector.

Abstract

Irrigation involves the artificial application of water to the soil, crucial to promoting crop growth where rainfall is insufficient, thus supporting healthy plant development and increasing yields. In Indonesia, a large part of the irrigation infrastructure is in disrepair, affecting agricultural productivity and causing food shortages and economic instability, especially among low-income populations. To manage this, local organizations oversee the maintenance of irrigation systems categorized into primary, secondary, and tertiary canals, prioritizing repairs based on severity. Meanwhile, mobile phones have become an essential part of everyday life in Indonesia due to their affordability and utility, which facilitate access to digital resources. Anticipated to reach 97% smartphone penetration by 2029, particularly with Android devices, this technology supports an innovative mobile application strategy for irrigation maintenance. This app enables farmers and community members to report issues collaboratively, accelerating the identification and repair process to improve agricultural management. Complementing this approach, OpenStreetMap (OSM) provides an editable global map resource, continuously updated by users and leveraging tools such as Leaflet JS to offer developers the ability to create interactive and customizable maps, enhancing infrastructure management through community participation. This study introduces a mobile reporting system for managing irrigation infrastructure, integrating several technical components to effectively address maintenance needs. Requiring compatible browsers like Chrome and Safari with specific minimum versions and at least Android 4.0 for accessibility, the system features a public-facing mobile website using OpenStreetMap for mapping. It includes a back-end server that serves mobile and monitoring applications and uses Firebase to store images of irrigation damage while managing database operations with PostgreSQL. The technical setup involves Windows 11, Visual Studio Code, PHP with Laravel for backend operations, and React JS with Leaflet JS for front-end design, running on hardware featuring an Intel Core i5 CPU and NVIDIA GTX 1650 GPU. Key APIs like Get Close Segments, Post Report, and Get The system facilitates data submission with locations and photos, provides report history viewing and filtering, and enhances user engagement through transparency in infrastructure management. The test with local farmers demonstrated the responsiveness and compatibility of the system across various platforms, ensuring that user reports are processed efficiently with reliable admin access for monitoring and tracking.

Abstract

Tourism plays an important role in the economic growth of a region. One of the factors that affect the tourism revenue sector is the number of visitors. An unexpected increase in the number of visitors can cause difficulties for tourism managers in providing the best facilities and comfort and safety for vacationing visitors. A prediction system for the number of visitors is needed as an overview of the level of tourism visitors for the coming period and can provide information to tourism managers to prepare better facilities and infrastructure and be able to manage revenue. Prediction of the number of visitors to Kelapa Beach Tourism can be done by applying the Double Exponential Smoothing method. In this study, the data used were 69 data on the number of monthly visitors to Kelapa Beach Tourism from 2018 to 2024. The test results show that the average minimum MAPE value generated is 16.36%. Based on the MAPE criteria scale, it is included in the good category and it can be concluded that this system helps the Kelapa Beach Tourism management team in predicting the number of visitors in the next period.

Abstract

The Industry 4.0 era is characterized by a revolution involving automation and artificial intelligence, distinguishing it from previous generations. This automation is driven by machine learning, a system that enables machines to learn from experience and data. Machine learning requires strong programming skills, which are developed through effective learning processes. However, many students encounter difficulties in learning programming, particularly during the pandemic, which has hindered face-to-face instruction. These difficulties include a lack of motivation and understanding in problem-solving. To address these issues, researchers conducted a study by developing a web-based programming learning platform that implements Gamification learning methods. This technology-enhanced learning platform is specifically designed for the Java programming language and aims to enhance student motivation and understanding through online learning modules and practical exercises. The results of this study demonstrate that the use of the learning platform has a significant positive impact, as evidenced by Wilcoxon test results. The testing results show that 20 users of the system experienced improved learning outcomes. The Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 indicates that there is a significant effect of using the learning platform on the Java programming learning outcomes for users..

Abstract

Desa Tumpakoyot merupakan desa yang terletak di bagian paling selatan Kabupaten Blitar tepatnya di Kecamatan Bakung. Desa Tumpakoyot memiliki 11 aparatur pemerintah desa, dimana terdapat 4 aparatur pemerintah desa yang akan memasuki masa purna tugas. Pemerintah desa merasa mengalami kesulitan untuk mencari pengganti yang mumpuni untuk mengantikan aparatur desa yang akan purna tugas. Tim pengabdi mengusulkan program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yang berfokus pada pengembangan SDM aparatur pemerintah desa. Program yang diusulkan adalah pelatihan Microsoft Office dan OpenSID untuk mendukung proses bisnis Desa Tumpakoyot. Pelatihan Microsoft Office dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kempuan Desa Tumpakoyot untuk melakukan pengolahan administrasi dan juga pengolahan data, khususnya dana desa. Selanjutnya, pelatihan OpenSID merupakan pelatihan terkait dengan administrasi aplikasi web desa yang dimiliki oleh Desa Tumpakoyot. Pengabdi berharap dengan adanya program pelatihan ini dapat meningkatkan kualitas SDM aparatur pemerintah Desa Tumpakoyot sehingga mencapai misi yang telah digagas oleh pemerintahan desa.

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta (MIS) NU Sabilun Najah 26 adalah salah madrasah ibtidaiyah swasta yang ada di Pasuruan. MIS NU Sabilun Najah 26 menginginkan sebuah sistem informasi monitoring kegiatan belajar mengajar (KBM) siswa. Hal ini dikarenakan, dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar yang telah dilaksanakan dirasa masih kurang pengawasan. Pihak orang tua tidak mengetahui apa yang siswa di sekolah. Diharapkan ada evaluasi mengenai perilaku siswa di sekolah, kehadiran siswa, pelaksanaan ujian, beberapa event yang diadakan oleh sekolah. Sehingga dengan adanya sistem informasi monitoring KBM siswa, dapat memudahkan orang tua untuk monitoring kegiatan siswa. Selain itu dapat mencegah adanya kesalahpahaman antara pihak wali murid dan pihak lembaga. Serta dapat membantu pihak sekolah untuk memonitoring siswa dengan mudah, serta dalam penyimpanan data dan perekapan data dengan menggunakan sistem terkomputerisasi.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong pemanfaatan media pembelajaran berbasis web. Pada mata kuliah Pemrograman Berorientasi Objek (PBO), mahasiswa sering kesulitan memahami konsep abstrak seperti enkapsulasi. Penelitian ini mengembangkan OOPedia, platform e-learning berbasis web dengan fitur Fill in the Blanks untuk mendukung pemahaman mahasiswa secara interaktif. Sistem dibangun menggunakan model Waterfall melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) yang melibatkan 40 mahasiswa semester dua Program Studi Sistem Informasi Bisnis, Politeknik Negeri Malang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa OOPedia memberikan pengalaman belajar positif pada seluruh aspek UEQ, dengan kategori Excellent pada Daya Tarik dan Stimulasi, serta Above Average pada aspek lainnya. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada integrasi fitur Fill in the Blanks dalam materi enkapsulasi serta kombinasi evaluasi UEQ dengan pre/post-test, yang memberikan perspektif baru dalam mengukur efektivitas media pembelajaran interaktif.   Kata Kunci: E-learning, OOPedia, Enkapsulasi, Fill in the Blanks, UEQ

Abstract

Pembelajaran Pemrograman Berorientasi Objek (PBO) seringkali menimbulkan kesulitan bagi mahasiswa karena sifat materinya yang abstrak dan kompleks. Kondisi ini menunjukkan perlunya media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat membantu pemahaman konsep dasar PBO. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi OOPedia, media pembelajaran berbasis web yang dirancang untuk mendukung materi kelas dan objek. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) yang mencakup enam dimensi: daya tarik, kejelasan, efisiensi, ketepatan, stimulasi, dan kebaruan. Responden penelitian ini adalah 44 mahasiswa Program Studi Sistem Informasi Bisnis yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah PBO. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner daring yang terintegrasi pada OOPedia, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan perangkat UEQ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa OOPedia memperoleh skor positif pada semua dimensi, yaitu daya tarik (1,803, kategori Good), kejelasan (1,301, Above Average), efisiensi (1,222, Above Average), ketepatan (1,369, Above Average), stimulasi (1,710, Excellent), dan kebaruan (0,983, Above Average). Kesimpulannya, OOPedia mampu memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menarik, mudah digunakan, dan memotivasi mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep PBO. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa OOPedia layak dikembangkan lebih lanjut dengan penambahan fitur interaktif untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran.

Abstract

This activity is carried out in order to welcome the increasing development of learning media that can be applied in daily teaching. In addition, teachers are also required to be able to make changes to the learning media in their own classes to see how to improve student learning outcomes by using varied learning media. The activities in this mentoring are that teachers from the KB TK PIG will be given training and mentoring in socialization activities to increase their knowledge/understanding of how to make educational teaching aids (APE). So that it can increase the teacher's imagination in developing all aspects and intelligence in their students. The final result of this activity is expected to be that each teacher will have educational and creative learning media that have good learning value.

Abstract

KUB Mustarika Jaya Makmur di Ngantang, Kabupaten Malang, merupakan kelompok peternak sapi perah yang mengembangkan produk keju sebagai diversifikasi bernilai tambah. Mitra menghadapi dua permasalahan utama, yaitu belum adanya sistem pencatatan produksi yang sistematis sehingga kualitas dan kuantitas produk belum konsisten, serta kondisi ruang produksi yang belum memenuhi standar higienitas pangan. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas mitra melalui digitalisasi pencatatan produksi dan perbaikan fasilitas produksi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis kebutuhan melalui observasi dan wawancara, pengembangan aplikasi pencatatan produksi berbasis web menggunakan framework Laravel, serta renovasi ruang produksi untuk meningkatkan standar kebersihan. Hasil menunjukkan aplikasi berhasil diimplementasikan dan digunakan secara rutin, dengan peningkatan keteraturan pencatatan produksi dari 30% menjadi 75%. Renovasi fasilitas meningkatkan skor kelayakan higienitas dari 30% menjadi 90%, serta menaikkan kualitas hasil produksi keju sebesar 40% berdasarkan isian kuisioner kepuasan dari mitra. Program ini memperkuat manajemen produksi, meningkatkan konsistensi kualitas keju, dan mendukung kesiapan sertifikasi halal dan BPOM guna keberlanjutan usaha.
