Abstract

Latar Belakang: Integrasi layanan gizi dalam manajemen bencana merupakan komponen penting untuk mencegah peningkatan malnutrisi pada kelompok rentan. Namun di Indonesia, integrasi Nutrition in Emergency (NiE) dalam kebijakan daerah belum optimal. Gempa bumi Cianjur 2022 memberikan konteks penting untuk memberikan gambaran sejauh mana kebijakan terkait bencana di daerah telah mengakomodasi aspek gizi. Metode: Analisis konten dilakukan terhadap 4.816 dokumen Jaringan Dokumentasi dan Informasi Hukum (JDIH) Kabupaten Cianjur (2022–2023). Seleksi bertahap menghasilkan 15 dokumen yang relevan. Analisis isi menggunakan lima domain: struktur kelembagaan, mandat fungsi, panduan operasional, integrasi gizi, dan pembiayaan. Data diperkuat dengan temuan lapangan dan wawancara pemangku kepentingan terkait respons gizi pasca-gempa. Hasil: Analisa dokumen menemukan bahwa meskipun terjadi penguatan struktur kelembagaan bencana, tidak ada regulasi yang secara eksplisit mengatur layanan gizi darurat, termasuk Pemberian Makan Bayi dan Anak (PMBA) dalam situasi bencana, maupun manajemen wasting. Dokumen tanggap darurat mengatur logistik dan komando, tetapi tidak memuat standar pelayanan gizi minimum. Implementasi gizi di lapangan berlangsung secara ad-hoc dan bergantung pada inisiatif tenaga kesehatan, bukan sebagai mandat kebijakan formal. Kesimpulan: Evolusi kebijakan kebencanaan di Cianjur belum mengintegrasikan NiE secara sistematis. Diperlukan peraturan daerah yang menetapkan layanan gizi darurat, struktur koordinasi, panduan operasional, dan pembiayaan untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan gizi pada bencana mendatang

Abstract

Periode usia sekolah merupakan bagian penting dalam menentukan kualitas sumber daya manusia yang berpengaruh bagi keberhasilan pembangunan bangsa. Permasalahan kesehatan yang akan muncul apabila pada usia anak sekolah tidak mempraktikan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat (PHBS) dengan baik dan benar yaitu masalah pencernaan seperti diare, cacingan dan saluran pernafasan akut (ISPA), 40-60% kejadian kecacingan, 23,2% kejadian anemia, dan masalah karies 74,4% yang ditimbulkan oleh anak usia sekolah di Indonesia setiap tahun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan edukasi gizi dengan menggunakan media booklet dan video terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan dan perilaku PHBS di SDN Sukasari 5 Kota Tangerang. Desain penelitian ini yaitu quasy experimental dengan rancangan one group pretest posttest design dengan total sampling pada anak kelas 5 di SDN Sukasari 5 Kota Tangerang sejumlah 67 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu terdapat perbedaan signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi tentang PHBS dengan media booklet maupun video. Terdapat peningkatan edukasi gizi menggunakan media booklet dan video terhadap pengetahuan dan perilaku PHBS pada siswa/i kelas  5 di SDN Sukasari Kota Tangerang. Pada penelitian ini, media booklet lebih efektif meningkatkan pengetahuan PHBS dibandingkan video. Penelitian lebih lanjut diharapkan dapat menambahkan waktu yang lebih lama untuk melihat perkembangan perilaku agar semakin terlihat perubahan yang signifikan PHBS.   The school age period is an important part in determining the quality of human resources that affect the success of nation building. Health problems that will arise if at school age children don’t practice PHBS correctly are digestive problems such as diarrhea, intestinal worms and acute respiratory tract, 40-60% incidence of helminthiasis, 23,2% incidence of anemia, and 74,4% caries problems in Indonesia every year. This study aims to determine the differences in nutrition education using booklets and videos to increase knowledge and behavior of PHBS in SDN Sukasari 5 Tangerang City. The design of this research is quasi experimental with one group pretest posttest design with a total sampling of 67 students in grade 5 students at SDN Sukasari 5 Tangerang City. The results of this study are significant differences before and after being given education about PHBS with booklet and video media. There is an increase in nutrition education using booklets and videos on PHBS knowledge and behavior in grade 5 students at SDN Sukasari, Tangerang City. In this study, booklet media was more effective in increasing PHBS knowledge than video. Further research is expected to add a longer time to see the development of behavior so that significant changes in PHBS can be seen.

Abstract

Efforts to improve nutritional status for the development of human resources quality begin as early as possible, through 1000 HPK activities, starting from the fetal life to 2 years of age. One of the activities that support early detection of stunting under-fives is measurement and weighing which is carried out every month by health cadres at Posyandu. The purpose of implementing training for Posyandu cadres was to increase the knowledge and skills of Posyandu cadres in anthropometric measurements, and to minimize mis-weighing, measurement errors that make the data invalid and cannot be reported. The implementation method is by providing anthropometric training 1 time, filling out questionnaires before and after the training, by giving measurement tutorial for 120 minutes, and direct monitoring is carried out 1 month after the training. The result of this showed that there was increments of knowledge and measuring skills by Posyandu cadres (P value:0,006). Suggestions for the Posyandu cadres should have training and workshop for maintaining their skill, to be able to carry out anthropometric training regularly every year.

Abstract

Background: Menurut WHO, pada usia 0-6 bulan pertama kehidupan, anak diberikan ASI secara eksklusif dan dilanjutkan pemberian Makanan Pendamping ASI (MP-ASI) pada usia 6 bulan. Angka pemberian ASI eksklusif di Indonesia masih kurang dari capaian persentase cakupan yang ditetapkan pemerintah yaitu 80%. Berdasarkan data Profil Kesehatan Kota Depok tahun 2020, capaian ASI eksklusif masih di bawah target pemerintah yaitu 68,49%. Artinya, masih terdapat bayi yang tidak mendapat ASI eksklusif dan kemungkinan mendapat MP-ASI dini. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini ditujukan untuk memberikan penyuluhan gizi mengenai manajemen laktasi, agar pengetahuan ibu meningkat dan ibu dapat memberikan ASI secara eksklusif. Metode: Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode memberikan ceramah dan diskusi menggunakan lembar balik dan mempraktikkan pemijatan laktasi yang dapat melancarkan ASI. Jumlah ibu dari balita yang mengikuti kegiatan ini yaitu 21 orang yang berasal dari 2 kelurahan. Sebelum penyuluhan, peserta melakukan pretest, kemudian menerima materi manajemen laktasi. Setelah penyuluhan manajemen laktasi diikuti praktik melakukan pijat oksitosin, peserta diminta mengerjakan posttest. Hasil: Setelah menerima penyuluhan manajemen laktasi, pengetahuan ibu balita mengenai ASI eksklusif dan manajemen laktasi meningkat secara signifikan, hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan perbedaan bermakna antara nilai pretest dan posttest (p= 0,003). Sebanyak 51,7% peserta memiliki skor posttest yang lebih tinggi dari pretest. Kesimpulan: Penyuluhan manajemen laktasi meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu balita mengenai ASI eksklusif dan manajemen laktasi. Setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan ini, diharapkan ibu balita dapat memberikan ASI secara eksklusif dan mempraktikkan manajemen laktasi dengan tepat.

Abstract

Abstract: The adolescent counts as a productive age group who needs an adequate nutritional intake to ensure their productivity in their studies and work. A long-term period of unbalanced nutrition consumption might impact one's health and productivity. One of the interventions that can be done is through education to increase their knowledge of balanced nutrition. The media used in this research are e-booklets and videos. Objectives: This research aims to understand the difference between balanced nutrition knowledge before and after nutritional education using E-booklets and videos among high school students in Jakarta and also to find the difference in the effectiveness of both media. Methods: The sampling technique used in this research was random sampling with a total of 95 respondents. The method used is a quasi-experiment with a Wilcoxon test to find the difference in knowledge before and after the intervention and a Mann-Whitney test to find the difference between media effectiveness in increasing knowledge. Results: The results show that both e-booklets (p-value = 0.000) and videos (p-value = 0.000) give a significant effect in increasing balanced nutrition knowledge levels. There is also no significant difference in the effectiveness of both media (p-value = 0.350). Conclusion: Balanced nutrition education using e-booklets and video proven to be effective in increasing nutrition knowledge in adolescents. Further research could be done by expanding the population and increase sample number.

Abstract

Jatisura Village is located in Cikedung District, Indramayu Regency. Most of the residents earn a living as agricultural workers. The village boasts various tourism opportunities, such as Situ Bolang Agrotourism, which serves to retain water for irrigating the fields of local farmers and can also yield freshwater fish that can be consumed or transformed into products for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. The aim of the research is to assess the socio-cultural nutrition aspects, including economic conditions, educational levels, knowledge, and the nutritional status of school-aged children and adolescents in Jatisura Village. Method: mixed method approach. incorporating both qualitative explorative and quantitative techniques. A total of 12 participants were involved, including village officials, integrated health post cadres, adolescents, community leaders, traditional leaders, village midwives, and representatives from Islamic elementary and high schools. For the quantitative portion, purposive sampling was applied, comprising 18 health cadres, 32 adolescents from high schools, and 60 children from elementary schools. This study was carried out between September 2022 and March 2023. Results: The majority (90.1%) of residents in the village earn incomes below the Minimum Wage set by Indramayu Regency. Jatisura Village is home to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises that have the capacity to export their products internationally, such as Rolisa Food, which produces mango crackers, mango seed coffee, mango preserves, mango juice, orange leaf nuts, and cow skin crackers. The understanding of nutrition among less than 33% of community leaders, 28.1% of teenagers, and 88.7% of school-age children is limited. In terms of nutritional status, 28.2% of teenagers are classified as underweight, and 16.7% of elementary school children show signs of stunting. Conclusion: The tourism opportunities in Jatisura Village can be enhanced by utilizing local food resources to create distinctive souvenirs, thereby boosting the income of the villagers. There are still adolescents experiencing inadequate nutritional levels and elementary school children facing stunting issues related to nutrition. It is essential to offer nutrition education and healthy food management training to the villagers to elevate their purchasing power for nutritious food and enhance education and health for the entire community.
