Abstract

MPs are plastic particles less than 5 mm in size. MPs can enter through the mouth and into the digestive tract, circulate throughout the body's tissues including breast tissue. Research on the size of particles that can be deposited in adipose tissue has not yet been conducted. This quasi-experimental research aims to explain differences in levels of microplastic particles due to differences in processing temperatures in breast milk in storage bags. Breast milk samples were taken from breastfeeding mothers at the Mulyorejo Community Health Center, Surabaya. The breast milk was put into plastic bags for the study group and glass tubes for the control group. Samples will be separated based on breast milk storage temperature and as a control group. The sample will be extracted and examined. After that, additional inspection tests were carried out in the form of micro-FTIR. It was found that there was no significant difference in MPs particle levels with respect to differences in breast milk processing temperatures in storage bags. However, there were significant differences between the control group and the study group.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 was an era marked by the carrying out of various technology-based human activities as a result of the transformation of life. This revolution has penetrated into various sectors of life, including the rule of justice. In order to face this revolution, the court is demanded to be able to provide legal services electronically through an application called e-Court. This application is an embodiment of The Electronic Justice System which has become a commitment of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia with the aim to synergize the role of information technology and procedural law. The presence of e-Court is expected to be able to overcome various problems in the Indonesian judicial process, such as the resolution of disputes that are running slowly, less responsive courts, and expensive judicial costs. Juridically, Law Number 48 of 2009 contains judicial principles. As stated in the law, cases submitted to the court must be resolved quickly, simply, and at a low cost. This means that the whole judicial process must be carried out with regard to effectiveness and efficiency in order to overcome obstacles in the justice administration. Thus, the presence of e-Court is expected to overcome various problems in the administration of justice with technology-based services. These services include online case registration, online case fee down payment, online party summons, and electronic trials. Therefore, this paper intends to describe the problems and challenges e-Court application in an effort to face the industrial revolution 4.0 in Indonesia.

Abstract

The tourism is one of the strategic sectors and has an important role as a source of foreign exchange and encourages national economic growth. Since March 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic has begun to enter Indonesia, and the cumulative infection curve has not sloped, and is still increasing exponentially until now. This phenomenon has resulted in a contraction in the Indonesian economy or created negative economic growth, as well as creating very bad conditions for the tourism sector in Indonesia. This study aims to examine the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic on tourism and its implications for economic growth in Indonesia. The data used are quarterly time series data before and after the Covid-19 Pandemic (2018-2020). This study uses a regression equation model that is estimated by using ordinary least square (OLS). Secondary data used are data air transport and hotel accommodation, as a proxy for tourism variables. The results show that the Covid-19 Pandemic has a negative effect on Indonesian tourism, and has negative implications for Indonesia's GDP. From the simulation results, the findings of this study also calculate the amount of potential lost in the Turism and Indonesian economy during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Background of the Problem: In 2000, deaths caused by air pollution in the world reached 57,000 people per year and it is estimated that over the next 20 years this figure will increase to close to 14% or 0.7 per year.  According to Calvin, 2020, in Gold Mining, incidents of Silica exposure among workers aged 45-55 years out of 2255 people, it was found that 1592 (71%) people died. From the number above, there were 1296 people (81%) suffering from silicosis and pulmonary Tuberculosis (TB). Chemical dust (Silica) causes lung disorders, which is one of the Occupational Lung Diseases. The above process has a danger to the environment and workers. According to BPJS Employment 2022, the number of cases of KK (working accidents) and PAK (occupational diseases) in 2021 is 234,370 cases.Method of Research:       Population of 100 workers aged 20 – 61 years, Natural Stone Processors located in Tulungagung, East Java, Indonesia. Workers inspection: (1) Interview and physical examination of workers, (2) Supporting examination: Spirometry and Thorax photos, (3) Work Environment Testing consisting of: Work climate, dust, gas (NO2, CO2).Results: Worker habits: smoking as much as 55%, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) used by the majority of cloth masks 71%, chemical dust (Silica) highest 4.6995 mg/m3, Climate in the workplace (temperature >32°C). These conditions can influence the occurrence of occupational lung disorders. Lung examination of Natural Stone processing workers in Tulungagung showed lung function disorders in 61 people (61%) and thorax photo examination showed abnormalities in 11 people (11%). WorkingPeriod has an influence on Occupational Lung Disease with a significance value of 0.03 (p-value < 0.05), with a confidence level of 95%.Conclussion: Working Period influences Occupational Lung Disease in workers in the production department of the Natural Stone Processing Company, in Tulungagung (1). Other factors that are suspected to influence the health of workers include: Occupational Lung Disease, namely smoking habits, not using the correct PPE, a dusty work environment (chemical substances) and a workplace climate with temperatures above the recommended values (2).Keywords: PAK, KK, APD, Silica, Working Period, Lung Disease due to work
