Abstract

Creative thinking skills are students' ability to find ways or solutions that are unusual, unique, and have never been found by others in solving problems. This study aims to describe the ability to think creatively from the perspective of students' confidence. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through, questionnaires, tests, and interviews. Questionnaires were used to divide the categories of student confidence, written tests were used to determine creative thinking skills in solving problems, and interviews were used to dig deep into information to obtain information related to problem solving. The subject of this study is grade VIII students of SMP N 1 Pekuncen. Subjects were grouped into three categories of confidence, namely high, medium, and low based on the results of the questionnaire, using the purposive sampling technique, two people were taken as subjects in each category. The material used is a two-variable linear equation system. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study explained that: 1) students with high categories were able to find solutions appropriately and could write down many ways to solve problems; 2) students in the medium confidence category can write down many ways to solve problems but cannot find the right solution; 3) students with low confidence categories are not able to find the right solution and are unable to write down many ways to solve problems.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir matematis (penalaran, pemecahan masalah, berpikir kritis, berpikir kreatif, dan komunikasi matematis) merupakan kemampuan utama yang perlu dimiliki oleh siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan di abad ke-21. Namun, berbagai hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan ini masih belum berkembang secara optimal pada siswa, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang mampu menjawab tantangan tersebut. Sejalan dengan berkembangnya teknologi digital, media pembelajaran berbasis digital dinilai memiliki peran yang strategis dalam mendukung penguatan kemampuan-kemampuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kontribusi media digital dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir matematis siswa melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review terhadap 25 artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan pada tahun 2022-2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penelitian berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis melalui berbagai media digital seperti Geogebra, Google Classroom, VBA Excel, Quizizz, Canva, hingga video pembelajaran dan e-modul. Media-media tersebut terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan berbagai aspek berpikir matematis siswa karena memiliki fitur interaktif, visualisasi konsep, dan fleksibilitas pembelajaran. Selain mendukung pencapaian hasil belajar kognitif, media digital juga berkontribusi dalam membangun keterampilan 4C (critical thinking, creativity, communication, dan collaboration). Dengan demikian, integrasi media digital dalam pembelajaran matematika merupakan strategi penting untuk mendorong pengembangan kemampuan berpikir matematis secara komprehensif dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas pembelajaran matematika berbasis gamifikasi di jenjang pendidikan menengah melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Latar belakang kajian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik terhadap matematika dan perlunya pendekatan inovatif yang mampu meningkatkan partisipasi dan hasil belajar. Dengan mengacu pada 12 artikel yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025 dan telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi, analisis dilakukan untuk menelaah sejauh mana gamifikasi berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran matematika. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa gamifikasi memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan motivasi, konsentrasi, serta hasil belajar peserta didik, terutama ketika diintegrasikan sebelum dan sesudah proses pembelajaran. Penelitian yang dianalisis mencakup berbagai jenjang pendidikan menengah tanpa menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antar jenjang. Meskipun banyak penelitian menunjukkan manfaat gamifikasi, penerapannya dalam pembelajaran matematika belum banyak dilakukan di berbagai situasi dan jenjang pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, studi ini menyarankan perlunya eksplorasi lebih lanjut terhadap penerapan gamifikasi di berbagai konteks untuk memperkuat pemahaman terhadap potensi strategi ini dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an (TPQ) telah banyak dikelola secara konvensional, sehingga santri lulusan TPQ hanya dapat membaca Alquran, tanpa dibekali pemahaman Islam yang cukup. Hadirnya TPQ berbasis kurikulum diniyah, disamping santri dapat membaca Alquran, juga dapat menulis huruf Alquran serta memiliki pengetahuan tentang fiqih ibadah. Wilayah kecamatan Sumbang Banyumas, masyarakatnya sangat mendukung untuk terwujdnya TPQ berbasis kurikulum diniyah. Dipilih dua TPQ yaitu TPQ Al Huda dan TPQ Al jannah untuk dikembangkan menjadi TPQ berbasis kurikulum diniyah. Adanya desain baru dalam pengelolaan TPQ, diperoleh hasil: 1) jumlah santri meningkat 133%. 2) jumlah ustadz menngkat 300% 3) kegiatan santri dalam belajar meningkat 150%. 4) kepuasan orangtua dan anak meningkat 300%. Kesimpulan: TPQ berbasis kurikulum diniyah meningkatkan minat belajar bagi santri dan ustadz serta memperluas wawasan praktek ibadah bagi santri.

Abstract

Training participants tend to already use Google Forms to create evaluation questions. However, its use is not optimal. To facilitate and solve partner problems, training was conducted on the use of Google Forms as an online evaluation medium by optimizing latex applications in creating questions containing mathematical equations. Activities are divided into three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. As many as 72.5% of participants attended to take part in training activities. Training participants gain knowledge, experience, and the opportunity to try using latex to create mathematical equations. The training activity received a positive response from the training participants. Participants were enthusiastic about taking part in the training and wanted follow-up activities with themes that were still related to the use of technology in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi optimal dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital guna meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran di SMP Negeri Satu Atap 1 Cimanggu. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, komite sekolah, dan orang tua sebagai informan utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi sebagai bentuk implementasi metode pengumpulan data yang komprehensif. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Validitas temuan diperkuat melalui triangulasi teknik  dan triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan teknologi digital memberikan dampak positif terhadap efektivitas pembelajaran, peningkatan keterlibatan siswa, serta efisiensi manajemen data sekolah. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur dan rendahnya literasi digital masih perlu mendapatkan perhatian. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya kepemimpinan, kolaborasi, dan penguatan kompetensi digital sebagai faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan program digitalisasi pendidikan.

Abstract

Literacy skills are important for prospective mathematics teachers in 21st century education, especially in the field of statistics. The purpose of the research was to describe the statistical literacy process based on initial knowledge. The subjects of the study were 50 students of Mathematics Education at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro Lampung and the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The research applies a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection used literacy test instruments and in-depth interview guidelines. Based on the results of previous knowledge tests, subjects were grouped into three categories of high, medium, and low. Each category was taken by one person as an informant with purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis technique is carried out with the stages of data reduction, presentation, and final conclusion. The mathematical literacy process includes the stages of data orientation, data processing, and data interpretation. The results of the study prove that students in the early and medium knowledge categories are able to detail activities at the stages of data orientation, processing, and interpretation. Identifying information and main problems is the key for the student to process the data. At the end of the answer, the student is in the high category and is giving a final conclusion and examination of the answer. In contrast to students in the low initial knowledge category, mistakes made in data orientation resulted in errors in applying mathematical concepts. Thus, the process stage and interpretation of data cannot be fulfilled correctly. The results of the study have a positive impact on the mathematical thinking process to solve contextual problems.

Abstract

Probability theory is inherently abstract and structurally complex, often creating substantial cognitive barriers for students when solving problems. This study aims to formulate a genetic decomposition of core probability concepts based on the mental structures constructed by undergraduate learners. Guided by the APOS (Action–Process–Object–Schema) theoretical framework, the research employed a three-phase methodological cycle: (1) epistemological analysis of fundamental probability concepts, (2) design and administration of diagnostic and instructional instruments, and (3) analysis and validation of students’ cognitive structures. The study was conducted at two universities in Central Java, Indonesia, involving four mathematics education undergraduates enrolled in an introductory probability course. Data were collected through content analysis, domain-specific assessment instruments, and semi-structured interviews. The APOS framework was used to trace students’ mental constructions in relation to classical probability, independence, conditional probability, total probability, and Bayes’ theorem. The results reveal that students had not fully internalized the mental objects and schemas required to coordinate these concepts during problem-solving activities. Their reasoning remained largely at the process level, particularly in representing sample spaces, applying counting techniques, and thematizing probability structures. Nonetheless, several elements of their cognitive behavior aligned with the refined genetic decomposition. The findings highlight the necessity of strengthening students’ APOS-based mental constructions to support the development of coherent probabilistic schemas and enhance conceptual as well as procedural fluency.

Abstract

Kemampuuan berpikir kritis adalah keterampilan untuk menyelesaikan secara sistematis, logis sehingga dalam mengambil kesimpulan di dasari oleh data yang ada. Keterampilan menganalisis informasi, mengevaluasi argument, dan membuat keputusan berdasarkan fakta yang ada. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui tes tertulis dan wawancara. Tes tertulis digunakan untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sedangkan wawancara digunakan untuk menggali informasi secara mendalam untuk mengetahui informasi berkaitan dengan penyelesaian permasalahan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Larangan. Materi yang digunakan adalah persamaan garis lurus. Analisis data dilakukan dengan triangulasi yaitu membandingkan data dari sumber (tes tertulis dan wawancara). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: 1) siswa kategori tinggi tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yaitu menginterpretasi, menganalisis, melakukan pemecahan masalah, dan melakukan evaluasi akan tetapi siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan inferensi atau menarik kesimpulan; 2) siswa kategori sedang tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam melakukan interpretasi, analisis, pemecahan masalah akan tetapi siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam mengalukan evaluasi dan inferensi. 3) siswa kategori rendah mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan karena siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menginterpretasi, menganalisis, memecahkan masalah, melakukan evaluasi dan menarik kesimpulan dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa belum terbiasa menyelesaikan soal kontekstual sehingga siswa perlu dibiasakan untuk mengerjakan soal soal kontekstual agar tidak mengalami kesulitan dalam berpikir kritis.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically examine how different instructional strategies influence students’ computational thinking (CT) and mathematical abilities within mathematics education. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA framework, this study analyzed 13 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025 that met predefined inclusion criteria. The reviewed studies were selected using Publish or Perish software and primarily sourced from Google Scholar and Scopus-indexed journals. The analysis focused on research trends, methodological approaches, educational levels, geographical distribution, subject matter, and the effectiveness of learning strategies in fostering CT and mathematical skills. The results reveal that instructional approaches integrating CT with STEM-oriented models—such as Project-Based Learning (PjBL), the SSCS model, and technology-enhanced learning using augmented reality and digital tools—consistently improve students’ problem-solving, abstraction, and higher-order thinking skills in mathematics. The findings also indicate that learner characteristics, particularly self-efficacy and learning styles, play a significant role in CT development. Most studies were conducted at the junior high school level and were geographically concentrated in Java, highlighting an imbalance in research coverage. In conclusion, this review confirms that innovative, technology-supported, and adaptive learning strategies are effective in strengthening computational thinking within mathematics education. The contribution of this study lies in providing a comprehensive mapping of instructional strategies linked to CT outcomes, offering theoretical insights, methodological guidance, and practical implications for educators and researchers seeking to integrate computational thinking into mathematics curricula more effectively.
