Abstract

The team-based geography learning paradigm is very important in 21st century learning. Team-based geography learning is able to explore and overcome the limited ability of teachers in material that they do not master. There are problems in changing geography learning from individual to team-based paradigms. The understanding of students and teachers is still constructed with the individual-based geography learning paradigm. There is no willingness to accept the shift in the paradigm of team-based geography learning. The concept of team-based geography learning has not been able to be understood and mastered holistically. Abstract

The success of the learning process is the responsibility of all parties in the world of education. All roles must be executed properly. The achievement of learning objectives is an indicator of the achievement of all processes carried out during learning. The function of the learning media essentially has a significant impact on learning. Because the learning media will give an impression in the process of interaction between teachers and students and the learning environment. the use of a photography essay will provide a more concrete explanation of the object through a photo, and of course it can be well received. The method used in this service is participatory dissemination. Involve participants directly in the form of mentoring. The service was carried out well, the results of the pres test showed 9 students, 4 people in the sufficient category and 3 people in the good category. And the post test showed a very significant change, namely 16 people in the good category.

Abstract

The Waste Bank Program is one of the programs aimed to solve waste problems and can help contribute to the community to build the community's economy. The method used is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the waste bank on the socio-economic community in Banten province. Based on data analysis of the impact of the waste bank program on the socio-economic community in Banten, namely 41.5%, it can be said that the waste bank program has contributed to the socio-economic development of the community, namely the results of the Waste Bank can be used to help buy daily necessities, recycle (recycle). items that are not used, reuse items from the waste bank program and teach people to be creative by utilizing unused items (reduce). Thus the waste bank program has an impact on the socio-economic community. One of which is contributing to growing the economy, managing waste into goods of economic value, recycling waste to reduce waste that is not of value, and reusing recycled goods. The existence of the waste bank program has an economic, environmental, social and educational impact. 1) From an economic point of view, the waste bank provides a role like banks in general, namely there is a process of saving from the acquisition of waste that has been weighed in the form of waste savings, buying and selling waste. 2) Seen from the environmental perspective, the impact of the waste bank is very beneficial for the local community, because the existence of a waste bank can reduce the volume of waste in the community's living environment and final disposal site. 3) Seen from education, the Waste Bank manager teaches customers the importance of waste that can be managed, has economic value by making crafts and recycling unused waste.

Abstract

This research is based on the Government’s lack of concern for the risk of Kaba Volcano eruption. Lack of preparedness of disasters, socialization for disaster mitigation, availability of the evacuation routes, or early warning systems in Kaba Volcano. On the other hand, with disaster preparedness, the damage and casualty figures can be minimized. The purpose of this study is to formulate the mitigation priority direction of Kaba Volcano eruption. Data collecting used interviews, observation and collecting relevant information. Then the data are grouped according to the danger levels criteria, the vulnerability, and the risks. Data processed by scoring and analyzing with AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). The results show that the direction of Bukit Kaba eruption mitigation priorities as follows: measured and periodic training and disaster simulation aspect is (0.832), coordination and collaboration in anticipating disasters is (0.813), human resources preparation is (0.801), evacuation route and site is (0.799), and the early warning system is (0.795).

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to describe the existence of maudu lompoa sociocultural solidarity in a review of cultural geography. The life of the community has undergone many shifts in lifestyle, especially individual and meterialistic attitudes, of course if this continues to occur it will cause social conflicts. Therefore, it is necessary to implement the values ​​of solidarity in people's lives. Values ​​derived from national identity so that people's lives run with peace and prosperity. These values ​​reside in many local cultures run by the community. In the Cikoang community, the values ​​of social solidarity are still well preserved in the procession of the Culture of the lompoa. This research is a descriptive study with an ethnographic approach. The results of the study show that the cultural change of maudu lompoa which is influenced by the environmental, social and economic conditions of the Cikoang community turned out to further strengthen the social and cultural solidarity of the people from time to time. The existence of Cikoang community social solidarity in maudu lompoa culture is able to be implemented in daily life.

Abstract

Konten Pembelajaran telah menjadi bagian penting dalam pembelajaran di masa pandemi saat ini. Pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan jejaring sangat mudah diakses. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah merancang rancangan konten pembelajaran geografi pariwisata berbasis wisata pantai botutonuo berintegrasikan photography essay. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini Deskriptif eksplorasi yang akan mendeskripsikan fenomena secara konprehenship. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Desain penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis kebutuhan, yang disesuaikan dengan rencana pembelajaran semester, capaian pembelajaran dan karakteristik materi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa 1). Hasil analisis kebutuhan materi geografi pariwisata berdasarkan capaian pembelajaran menunjukan sumber belajar dari Wisata pantai botutonuo antara lain Sumber daya wisata pantai Botutonuo, Pendukung wisata pantai Botutonuo, Wisatawan Pantai Botutonuo, Kawasan Wisata Pantai Botutonuo dengan 11 sub bagian yang memiliki  Materi Pembelajaran yang sesuai yaitu Daya Tarik Wisata, Daya Tarik wisata dari Unsur alami, Daya tarik wisata dari unsur non alami, Jenis sarana pendukung wisata, Jenis prasarana pendukung wisata, Kebutuhan dasar wisatawan, Karakteristik wisatawan, Toponimi wisatawan, Komponen dasar Wisata, Atraksi wisata, Amenitas, Aksesibilitas. 2) Komponen wisata yang menjadi sumber belajar antara lain atraksi wisata (pesisir pantai botutonuo, Vegetasi, dan Spot dermaga), amenitas (penginapan, gasebo, menara pandang botutonuo, market, warung makan, tempat ibadah, toilet, area parkir, penerangan) dan akessibilitas (bandara, pelabuhan, terminal, akses jalan). Sebagai kesimpulan Wisata Pantai Botutonuo yang berintegrasikan photography essay memiliki karakteristik yang bersesuaian dengan materi geografi pariwisata, capaian pembelajaran dan karakteristik materi yang terfokus pada komponen wisata. Sehingga dapat menjadi rekomendasi yang efektif kepada pihak terkait, bahwa Wisata pantai Botutonuo yang berintegrasikan photography essay dapat dijadikan sebagai konten pembelajaran pada materi geografi pariwisata.

Abstract

Garbage is something that humans throw away because it can no longer be used. An environment with a buildup of garbage can cause various problems such as hygiene, health, beauty, environmental pollution, and social issues. One of the problems regarding waste is located in Lopo Village-Gorontalo District. Garbage is thrown away and then burned, especially plastic waste. The combustion results can undoubtedly pollute the environment. This happens due to the need for more guidance and community empowerment in recycling waste into something that can be useful. One of the solutions for handling waste into something that can be useful is to convert plastic waste into fuel oil through the socialization of making a simple plastic pyrolysis machine. This socialization activity provides an understanding of waste and its impact on the environment, methods of waste management, and how to make a simple plastic pyrolysis machine. The participants were very enthusiastic about participating in this socialization because they learned how to process plastic waste into fuel and make simple plastic pyrolysis machines that can be products of high economic value

Abstract

Dementia is one of the scourges that must be faced in old age. Dementia prevention can start early, namely during the pre-elderly period. This service is carried out to help pre-elderly in the Kelurahan Mantrijeron prepare themselves to become healthy, independent, and productive elderly people through jumputan training with the tie and dip technique. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of surveys, observations, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively both qualitatively and quantitatively to get a complete picture of the response from the participants to the training that had been carried out. In general, the results of the training evaluation show that the participants gave a positive response where all the indicators measured were in the very good category.

Abstract

The restrictions on community activities during the Covid-19 pandemic have brought nearly all aspects of community life in Surabaya City to a halt, particularly social movements within the community that directly impact economic activities. The increasing unemployment rate is one of the direct effects of the pandemic. In general, the massive impact of the spread of the Covid-19 virus on the economy will significantly affect the changes in the number of poor people in Surabaya City before and after the pandemic. The objective of this research is to identify changes in the number of poor people and the influence of the pandemic on the economic conditions of Surabaya residents. This descriptive study utilizes secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (Badan Pusat Statistik). During the pandemic, the increase in the number of poor people in Surabaya was influenced by several factors such as job restrictions, layoffs, reduced productivity due to Covid-19 infection, and others. In 2019, the number of poor people in Surabaya amounted to 4.51%, while after the Covid-19 pandemic, the number of poor people increased to 5.21% in 2021.

Abstract

This article will reveal strategies for using learning media from Geography teachers during online learning (learning in networks). The aim is to find out what media is used in online geography learning and also the teacher's competence in using Geographic Information System (GIS) media in geography learning. It is hoped that the outcome of the research will be used as an evaluation material and recommendation for the next action in an effort to increase the quantity of relevant media and the quality of learning outcomes of Geography in schools. By planning training in Community Service programs. The data collection method used a special interview system for the main resource person, namely the Geography Teacher by using an online questionnaire for a random sample and secondary data documentation. The results obtained are the class media that is most often used in geography learning the first choice is to use the Whatsapp Group chat application, then Google Classroom and for face-to-face virtual use of video conferencing applications such as zoom or google meet. Meanwhile, the media for teaching teacher material still uses map media, both printed and digital, books or modules, and powerpoint presentations. Meanwhile, GIS applications are still very minimally utilized. The reasons stated are because of the relevance of the material, the easier process if using more general media and the availability of supporting facilities in the agency. However, the perception of his ability to prepare learning media is considered quite good. The only obstacle or challenge is increasing student motivation, and personal self-motivation to work that needs to be improved..
