Abstract

Power quality disturbances cause equipment damage or financial losses. Therefore, the electric power system needs to identify and distinguish any power quality disturbances to reduce problems. This paper proposes hybrid methods combining FFT and ANFIS algorithm for detection of power quality disturbances. There are 11 types of power quality disturbances that can be detected, such as sag, swell, undervoltage, overvoltage, voltage flicker, voltage harmonic, sag + harmonic, swell + harmonic, undervoltage + harmonic, overvoltage + harmonic, and flicker + harmonic. The parameters used to detect disturbances are Vrms, Duration, THDv (Total Harmonic Distortion voltage), and Fluctuation-Count. The detection process starts by sensing voltage and calculating all the parameters, where THDv was obtained by Fast Fourier Transform. All the parameters such as Vrms, Duration, THDv, and Fluctuation-Count are processed by Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System, and the result is the type of disturbance. Matlab simulations show that the suggested method performs outstandingly to identify 11 type of Power Quality Disturbances with 99.3% accuracy.

Abstract

The rainy season is an obstacle for everyone, especially drying shoes, because rain can hinder the process of drying shoes. Currently, shoes are still dried using the conventional method, namely by utilizing the sun's heat. The next development is a system for drying shoes using gas fuel, but it has the potential for fire. In this final project, a shoe drying system is designed which is controlled using PI control according to a specified setpoint to dry shoes when exposed to rain or at night. To get the appropriate room temperature, the output voltage from the heater needs to be controlled using the Digital Firing Angle. The ignition angle is regulated by the Digital Firing Angle circuit. To maintain the temperature conditions in a stable condition, namely 65°C, this tool is controlled using PI (Proportional Integral) control. This dryer is designed for a maximum of 1 pair of wet shoes. With final humidity results in the drying room ≤ 20%RH. With this final project, it can dry shoes in rainy conditions in 94 minutes for synthetic leather shoes and 104 minutes for leather shoes.

Abstract

This research reports on a legal study of trade secrets which are part of the Intellectual Property Rights system. Legal protection is given to trade secrets in order for trade secret right holders to be able to create a climate that encourages creation and innovation to advance Indonesian industry in order to compete in the scope of national and international business. A trade secret is information that the law considers to be a property. The classification of information as a trade secret must have economic value, be unknown to the public and kept confidential by the owner. There is a problem, namely the character of trade secrets that cannot be included in the system of property law in Indonesia, because the characteristics of trade secrets do not fulfill the elements of property rights and there is no single norm that regulates the registration of trade secret rights as property rights. Jeremy Bentham and Thomas Hobbes Theory of Legal Protection and Theory of Ownership are chosen as the analytical knife, that a trade secret is a legal right, namely a property right over an intangible movable property that arises due to a registration. The implication of this is that the trade secret law does not provide legal protection and legal certainty for the right holder.
