Abstract

This research is to uncover brand storytelling through a morpho-semantic approach to the tradition of kupat jembut syawalan in Pedurungan Semarang. This article is the finding of a descriptive study using Ogden & Richard's semantic approach, using Crespo's storytelling theory of the Syawalan kupat-jembut tradition in Semarang, then analyzing its morphology to see its essence. The results of the study show: that the kupat jembut is used as a medium to attract the community so that the Syawalan tradition of the Pedurungan Semarang community can be preserved for the next generation. The naming does not reduce the essence of syawalan which is an expression of gratitude and hospitality. The research implication, narrative experience brings understanding to the essence of Islamic tradition to be preserved. Research is expected to contribute to Islamic cultural scholarship. Abstract

This article aims to find out the implementation of the Rabbani method in improving the memory of students in memorizing the Qur'an at the Tahfidz Al Qur'an Islamic Boarding School Al Madinah Banjarnegara. This research is a qualitative descriptive approach, where data is obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The main subjects of the research include the kiai and ustadz who support tahfidz Al-Qur'an, analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study show: that the implementation of the Rabbani method at the Al Madinah Islamic boarding school is very suitable for students because it has the advantage of not only memorizing the verses of the Al-Qur'an, but being able to know the location of the number and position of the memorized verse. Implementation of more specific research on knowing the location of the memorized verse numbers and positions, further research is needed. Research contributes to Islamic education, especially the strategy of memorizing the Qur'an.

Abstract

. Abdullah Nashih Ulwan is one of the figures of Islamic education who pay great attention to children's education, through his books Tarbiyatul Aulad Fil Islam he explained the concept of monotheism education for children, the many cases of deviations from Islamic law committed by teenagers. This research aims to provide special knowledge to educators regarding monotheism education materials as well as educational methods. This research method is library research or literature and data analysis using content analysis methods. The results obtained are material for children's monotheistic education including: introducing the oneness of Allah SWT, instilling devotion to the power and supervision of Allah SWT, introducing Rasulullah SAW and teaching them to read the Qur'an and Islamic law. It is hoped that educators will understand the concept of providing monotheism education to children and be able to implement it.

Abstract

The importance of good teacher ethics in the educational process is able to create a positive and productive educational environment that can affect academic learning, moral and social development for students. This research aims to: 1) find out the intraksi between teachers and students according to the book tadzkirotus sami' wal mutakallim fi adabil alim wal muta'alim; 2) knowing good teacher manners so that they are channeled and can set an example as a good example for students; 3) knowing the internal and external factors that can contribute to the teacher so that there is a misappropriation that affects the image of the teacher. This study uses a strong research approach where the type of research is library research. The results of this study show that: 1) good interaction between teachers and students in the book tadzkirotus sami' wal mutakallim fi adabil alim wal muta'alim, one of which is by sincerely intending to seek the pleasure of Allah SWT, patience, and gentleness. In addition, students are taught to always be polite to anyone, as well as interact positively which is emphasized to form relationships full of moral and ethical values. 2) Good teacher ethics can certainly create a positive and productive learning environment, including professionalism and providing a good example to form a good character in students. 3) Internal factors include a lack of ethical awareness and emotional pressure, then external factors, namely economic demands and lack of supervision that can result in the emergence of unethical behavior. To prevent these abuses, it is necessary to increase ethical leadership and increase supervision of character education for teachers and students.

Abstract

The abuse of Narcotics, Psychotropic Substances, and Addictive Substances (NAPZA) is an escalating social issue in Indonesia, particularly among adolescents and university students. This has serious implications for the health, social, and economic aspects of society. This research aims to analyze the strategy of NAPZA socialization in Dusun Gintung, Desa Ngadimulyo District, Temanggung Regency, and the effectiveness of multi-party collaboration in raising awareness and fostering community concern about the dangers of NAPZA. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, involving various parties such as the village government, police, health professionals, and schools. The findings show that NAPZA socialization through interactive lectures, group discussions, and the use of social media has successfully raised community awareness, although challenges in changing the mindset of some residents remain. The role of the youth as agents of change through the "Youth Anti-NAPZA" program and collaboration with social media is a key factor in the success of this program. The involvement of families in providing moral education is equally important. It is hoped that this program will continue and involve more parties in efforts to prevent NAPZA abuse.

Abstract

Artikel ini mengungkap filosofi sarung (sarune dikurung) dalam diskurus pendidikan Islam, berangkat dari aspek kebahasaan untuk kemudian dikaji dari sudut filosofis guna direlasikan dengan pendidikan Islam. Tulisan ini menggunakan pendekatan kepustakaan untuk memperoleh data, kemudian dikaji dengan konsepsi filosofis, dan dianalisis induktif, agar menghasilkan simpulan yang relevan. Hasil eksplorasi menunjukkan bahwa sarung memiliki makna filosofis yang mulia dimana terdapat nilai-nilai luhur yang telah diresapkan didalamnya. Sarung mengacu pada makna filosofis sarune dikurung mengandung interpretasi manusia agar menjaga sikap buruk atau tidak pantas. Dalam diskursus pendidikan Islam, nilai tersebut selaras dengan ajaran  mengendalikan nafsu, menjaga aurut, serta menjaga dari sikap buruk. Implikasi penelitian  terhadap aspek filosofis, memakai sarung manjadi pengendalian diri. Penelitan berkontribusi pada pemaknaan filosofis sarung bagi pengembangan pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

This article is an attempt to find out the metamorphosis conception of the kiai's sarong gondelan, the proposition of Islamic education: the indeginiutas santri Nusantara, where the author has not found this theme before. The literature review setting is used through a qualitative descriptive approach to be further analyzed on the research subjects. The research findings show that the kiai's sarong gondelan is an education that contains an invitation to adhere to the teachings of Islam that have been taught by the kiai Nusantara, where they continue what was initiated by Walisongo. The teachings use a cultural approach that is sympathetic to the practice of Islam so that it is accepted by the Nusantara community. This researcher hopes that the results will contribute to Islamic education within the scope of teachings that describe rahmatan lil 'alamin. This research provides direction for further researchers to deepen their analysis in a wider area.

Abstract

This essay attempts to examine seriousness in humor: an Islamic educational perspective. Here the author offers a unique lens for understanding the spatiality of humor and its impact on the Islamic education process that can be used to build enjoyable learning. The type of research approach is qualitative research with a literature study method. Data sources and study analysis materials are based on scientific references through credible websites, such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and SINTA. The results of this research show that humor is needed in something serious in order to obtain good results. This also applies to Islamic education so that a relaxed atmosphere is provided so that learning objectives can be achieved more optimally. Of course, the atmosphere that is created does not conflict with its essence, namely that humor in life should be an expression of gratitude or goodness, not exaggeration, ridicule or harming other people. This article adds to the Islamic educational literature on how to package seriousness with humor.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology and globalization has significantly impacted the character of younger generations, contributing to the decline of moral and spiritual values. Islamic education, especially through character-based approaches, plays a crucial role in shaping individuals with noble character. This study aims to explore the Islamic character education values contained in Kitab Al-Arba’in An-Nawawiyyah by Sheikh An-Nawawi and evaluate their relevance in the context of contemporary education. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach with library research methods, this study analyzes 42 selected hadiths that encompass aspects of faith, ethics, and social relations. The findings reveal that divine values (e.g., piety, trust in God, and prayer) and human values (e.g., speaking kindly, helping others, and forgiveness) in this collection are highly relevant as character education solutions amid today's moral crisis. Therefore, Kitab Al-Arba’in An-Nawawiyyah is a valuable reference for integrating Islamic character education into curricula to nurture faithful, ethical, and socially responsible generations.

Abstract

Hubungan guru dan murid dalam pendidikan Islam selalu memiliki aspek yang sangat personal, di mana seorang penuntut ilmu mencari seorang guru, bukan lembaga, lalu mengabadikan dirinya sepenuhnya kepada guru tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian library research yang bertumpu pada sumber primer yaitu buku “Nukilan Pemikiran Islam Klasik Gagasan Pendidikan Al-Ghazali” karya Hasan Asari MA, serta sumber sekunder lain yang relevan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan analisis isi (content analysis) secara sistematis, objektif, dan mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep guru dalam buku tersebut digambarkan sebagai sosok yang tidak hanya menyampaikan ilmu, tetapi juga membimbing spiritualitas dan moral murid. Sedangkan murid diposisikan sebagai pencari ilmu yang harus memiliki adab, ketulusan, dan kesungguhan dalam belajar. Pola hubungan guru dan murid menurut Al-Ghazali bersifat hierarkis namun dilandasi rasa kasih sayang, saling menghargai, dan keteladanan. Dalam konteks pendidikan saat ini, khususnya dalam membentuk generasi emas di era milenial, pola ini tetap relevan dan dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar dalam membina hubungan yang berkarakter dan berlandaskan nilai- nilai keislaman.
