Abstract

Struktur atom merupakan salah satu materi yang tersusun atas partikel-partikel terkecil yang tidak dapat dibagi lagi. Namun sumber belajar yang sering digunakan masih kurang membandingkan materi dengan fenomena dalam kehidupan  sehari-hari antara dua konsep yaitu konsep target dan konsep analogi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lanjutan pengembangan pada tahap uji kelayakan dengan rancangan model 4-D yang terdiri dari tahap define, desing, develop, dan disseminate. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan modul dengan pembelajaran analogi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi struktur atom. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi eksperimen dengan rancangan prestest-posttest-only control group design. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan di SMAN 3 Dompu menggunakan sampel yang ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh dari keseluruhan populasi siswa kelas X IPA. Kelas eksperimen yang ditentukan yaitu kelas X IPA1 (15 siswa) yang dibelajarkan dengan modul pembelajaran analogi sedangkan kelas kontrol yang ditentukan yaitu kelas X IPA2 (15 siswa) yang dibelajarkan dengan metode konvensional tanya jawab pada materi struktur atom. Teknik pengumpulan data keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa menggunakan tes  essay. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkkan bahwa nilai rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa  pada kelas eksperimen (48) lebih tinggi dibandingkan nilai rata-rata pada kelas kontrol (39). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji  one way anova dengan bantuan SPSS 16,0 for windows diketahui bahwa thitung(0,024) < α (0,05) sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima hipotesis alternatif diterima. Artinya, terdapat pengaruh penerapan modul dengan pembelajaran analogi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa  pada materi struktur atom.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to evaluate how Understanding Nature of Science (NOS) play role to students Understanding chemistry concept and Science Process Skills on Chemistry Classroom. This descriptive research was carried out by Ex-post Facto method at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education of IKIP Mataram. The research subjects were 75 students participating in the General Chemistry course for the academic year 2018- 2019 that taken by the saturated sampling method. Data were collected by understanding of NOS questionnaire, Understanding chemistry concept Test, and Science Process Skills observation sheet. The data is described and analyzed by product moment correlation test and One Way Anova test for uncorrelated samples. The results showed that there was a significant and very strong correlation between Understanding of NOS and Understanding chemistry concept and between Understanding of NOS and Science Process Skills. One Way Anova test result showed that there was difference on Students Understanding chemistry concept and Science Processes Skills on different Understanding of NOS.

Abstract

[Title: Students' Understanding of the Nature of Science in Learning using the Mobile-NOS Learning Model]. This research aimed to evaluate the influence of the Mobile-NOS model of learning application towards Students' Understanding of the Nature of Science. In the form of pre-experimental research, this study has been carried out by pretest-posttest non-control group design. The research subjects consisted of 27 students participating in the Basic Chemistry II course in the chemical education program of IKIP Mataram Academic Year 2018/2019 collected by saturated sampling. The Nature of Science data was obtained using the Understanding of Nature of Science questionnaire that consists of 39 valid items with very high reliability (r = 0.802) proved by test result to 84 subjects. A paired sample t-test used to analyze the data obtained. The results showed significant enhancement on students' understanding of the nature of science after the Mobile-NOS model of the learning implementation. The value of t count (5.353) is higher than the t table (1.706) in the one-way hypothesis. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the Mobile-NOS learning model influences students' understanding of the nature of science.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kepuasan pemangku kepentingan pada layanan manajemen kelembagaan di Fakultas Sains, Teknik, dan Terapan, (FSTT) Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika. Pemangku kepentingan yang dimaksud adalah pihak internal dan eksternal. Layanan managemen kelembagaan difokuskan pada aspek kepuasan layanan pendidikan mahasiswa, kepuasan sumber daya dosen dan tenaga kependidikan, dan kepuasan mitra kerjasama. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey dimana data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang berisi item pernyataan kepuasan layanan pada pemangku kepentingan. Kuesioner divalidasi oleh validator ahli agar dapat digunakan untuk mengukur tingkat kepuasan pemangku kepentingan. Kuesioner kepuasan layanan pendidikan diberikan kepada mahasiswa yang sedang aktif kuliah, kuesioner kepuasan layanan sumber manusia diberikan kepada dosen dan tenaga kependidikan, dan kepuasan layanan kerjasama diberikan kepada mitra kerjasama. Tiap-tiap data layanan kepuasan dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pemangku kepentingan. Hasil studi lebih lanjut disajikan pada artikel ini.Stakeholder Satisfaction in Institutional Management Services at the Faculty of Private Education ProvidersAbstractThis study aims to explore stakeholder satisfaction on institutional management services at the Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Applied, (FSTT) Mandalika University of Education. The stakeholders in question are internal and external parties. Institutional management services are focused on aspects of student education service satisfaction, lecturer and education staff resource satisfaction, and cooperation partner satisfaction. This research is a survey research in which data is collected using a questionnaire containing statements of service satisfaction to stakeholders. The questionnaire was validated by an expert validator so that it can be used to measure the level of stakeholder satisfaction. Education service satisfaction questionnaires are given to students who are actively studying, human resource service satisfaction questionnaires are given to lecturers and education staff, and cooperation service satisfaction is given to cooperation partners. Each service satisfaction data was analyzed descriptively to determine the level of stakeholder satisfaction. Further study results are presented in this article.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efektifitas penerapan pembelajaran proyek melalui lesson study untuk meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa kelas 10 SMA Islam Al-Azhar NW Kayangan Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa yang berjumlah 32 orang, 2 orang guru kimia, kepala sekolah, 2 Dosen dan 2 mahasiswa. Penelitian dilakukan pada semester genap 2018/2019. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian kualitatif ini yaitu dengan triangulasi yang merupakan teknik pengumpulan data yang bersifat menggabungkan berbagai teknik pengumpulan data dan sumber yang ada. Tahapan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu sesuai dengan tahap Lesson Study (desain, observasi, refleksi) selama dua siklus pembelajaran. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan 3 metode, melalui dokumentasi, (Video, rekaman suara guru, siswa), Observasi (Catatan lapang pada waktu plan, do, see), wawancara (rekaman suara, video). Data keterampilan proses sains dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, penilaian portofolio laporan, dan tes essay. Skor yang diperoleh diolah menjadi perseratus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran proyek melalui lesson study efektif meningkatkan keterampilan proses sains siswa. Hasil observasi keterampilan proses sains siswa secara keseluruhan hingga akhir kegiatan pembelajaran berada pada kategori sangat baik dengan skor 81,94. Hasil penilaian laporan proyek investigasi siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 berturut-turut 61,2 dan 80,3. Slaras dengan itu, hasil tes proses sains siswa mengalami peningkatan dari siklus 1 ke siklus 2 berturut-turut 70,3 dan 81,6.

Abstract

Peristiwa pandemi covid-19 didunia termasuk Indonesia, menyebabkan perubahan sistem pembelajaran yang signifikan, biasanya tatap muka di kelas, kegiatan praktek di laboratorium berubah menjadi pembelajaran dalam jaringan atau daring. Pembelajaran proyek menggunakan masalah sebagai langkah awal dalam mengumpulkan dan mengintegrasikan pengetahuan baru berdasarkan pengalamannya dalam beraktivitas secara nyata. Mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif IPA adalah mata kuliah wajib dalam fakultas ilmu pendidikan yang menuntut mahasiswa dalam keaktifan dan kreatifitas menguasai materi tersebut sehingga lebih aplikatif dimanfaatkan saat kelak menjadi guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental dengan teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi dan angket. Model Pembelajaran IPA SMP pada materi kimia mempunyai karakteristik pengetahuan yang abstrak bagi siswa SMP sehingga dibutuhkan keaktifan dan kreatifitas saat mengajar. Berdasarkan hasil angket  di dapatkan hasil sebagai berikut: persepsi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif 76.8; motivasi mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah        model pembelajaran inovatif 78.40; pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif 87,6; aktifitas dan kreatifitas mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran proyek 88,7; Kesan mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran proyek adalah 84,6. Dari hasil rerata diatas 75.0 hal ini menunjukkan pembelajaran proyek efektif diterapkan pada mata kuliah model pembelajaran inovatif IPA materi kimia SMP. Responses of Prospective Science Teacher Students in the Application of Chemistry Project Learning Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic in the world, including Indonesia, has caused a significant change in the learning system, usually face-to-face in class, and practical activities in the laboratory have changed to online or network learning. Project learning uses problems as the first step in gathering and integrating new knowledge based on experience in real activities. The science innovative learning model course is a compulsory subject in the faculty of education that requires students to be active and creative in mastering the material so that it is more applicable when they become teachers. This study uses an experimental approach with data collection techniques by observation and questionnaires. Middle School Science Learning Model in chemistry material has the characteristics of abstract knowledge for junior high school students, requiring activeness and creativity when teaching. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the following results were obtained: student perceptions of innovative learning model courses 76.8; student motivation towards innovative learning model courses 78.40; student understanding of innovative learning model courses 87.6; student activity and creativity in project learning 88.7; Students' impression of project learning is 84.6. The average results above 75.0 show that project learning is effectively applied to science innovative learning model courses in junior high school chemistry.

Abstract

 The Effect of The Type and Concentration of The Receiving Phase on The Efficiency Of Silver Separation with Liquid Supported Membrane Techniques. The process of making negative x-ray films in a radiology laboratory produces liquid wastes containing various chemical compounds with the main content being Ag metal (in the form of Ag+ cations). This waste is categorized as a dangerous and toxic material. Therefore it is necessary to separate the Ag metal before it is discharged into the environment so as not to be harmful to life and the environment. One of the separation techniques that can be used is with supported fluid membrane technique (Supported Liquid Membrane, SLM). The supported liquid membrane has three important components: the feed phase containing the component to be separated, the membrane phase containing the carrier compound and the receiving phase containing the integral component. The three-phase composition determines the efficiency of the separation process. This study aims to identify the type and concentration of the receiving phase solution to improve silice metal separation efficiency by SLM technique. To obtain an efficient composition in the recipient phase was carried out by varying the type of acid received solution ie H3PO4, HNO3 and CH3COOH with respective concentrations of 0.01; 0.05; 0.10; 0.15; and 0.20 M. Measurement of metal ion concentration of Ag+ before and after transport was determined by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (SSA) at wavelength 328,22 nm. Based on the result of research that type and concentration of acid solution in the receiving phase has an effected on separation efficiency. The optimum transport percentage has obtained on the used of H3PO4 receptor solution at a concentration of 0.1 M with a percentage of Transport Ag of 46.84%.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepuasaan mahasiswa terhadap layanan pendidikan sistem daring selama masa pandemi covid-19. Studi ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif eksploratif dengan responden adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Sains, Teknik, dan Terapan (FSTT) Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika sebanyak 257 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup tentang persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran daring dengan jawaban berdegradasi sesuai skala likert dan telah divalidasi ahli. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan uji Kruskal Wallis karena data tidak homogen dan tidak terdistribusi normal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat kepuasaan mahasiswa terhadap layanan pendidikan sistem daring selama masa pandemi covid-19 rata-rata berkategori Baik (  = 2,65); (2) tidak ada perbedaan signifikan kepuasaan mahasiswa antar program studi terhadap layanan pendidikan sistem daring selama masa pandemi covid-19 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,716 (>0,05). Oleh sebab itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan pendidikan sistem daring di Fakultas Sains, Teknik, dan Terapan (FSTT) Universitas Pendidikan Mandalika telah berlangsung dengan baik. Analysis of Student Satisfaction with Online Education Services During the Covid-19 Pandemic Abstract This study describes student satisfaction with online system education services during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is an exploratory, descriptive study with 257 students from the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering (FSTT) at the Mandalika University of Education as the respondents. The instrument used is a closed questionnaire about students' perceptions of online learning with answers that are degraded according to the Likert scale and have been validated by experts. The research data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and the Kruskal Wallis test because the data were not homogeneous and not normally distributed. The results showed that (1) the level of student satisfaction with online system education services during the covid-19 pandemic was on average in the Good category (p = 2.65); (2) there is no significant difference in student satisfaction between study programs toward online system education services during the covid-19 pandemic with a significance value of 0.716 (> 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that the online system education service at the FSTT of the Mandalika University of Education has been going well.

Abstract

Water treatment training using ultra-low pressure membrane filtration devices at the Ad-Diinul Qayyim Islamic Boarding School, Gunungsari Village, Gunungsari District, West Lombok Regency is an activity that aims to downstream the innovations of lecturers and students in higher education to the community, and increase public awareness about use of clean water. This activity was carried out with the stages of making a prototype filtration device, debriefing students, coordinating and socializing, implementing training, monitoring, and evaluating. The activity was carried out in the Hall of the Ad-Diinul Qayyim Islamic Boarding School and involved 30 students as participants. Activities were monitored using a training participant response questionnaire. The monitoring results showed that 86.67% of the participants understood how to use and maintain the prototype ultra-low pressure membrane filtration device. As many as 82.25% of participants agreed that learning about filtration equipment was very interesting to present in science learning. As many as 73.33% of participants agreed that the prototype of the filtration device was easy to develop.

Abstract

Teacher competencies consist of pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies. Science educators must be able to encourage students to become lifelong students who are competent, have character, and behave in accordance with the values of Pancasila, have the competence to become democratic citizens and become superior and productive human beings, and be able to participate in sustainable and resilient global development in facing various challenges. So that to be able to integrate these values into science learning, the conception of these four competencies for science educators must be reformulated by considering the competencies needed for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Science Literacy, and strengthening the pupil profile of Pancasila. The results of this study show that pedagogical, personality, social, and professional competencies can be reformulated so that they are relevant to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Science Literacy, and strengthening the pupil profile of Pancasila learning. With the presence of this competency, the science teachers will have the ability to facilitate learning for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), Scientific Literacy, and strengthening the profile of Pancasila learning. simultaneously through the science learning process.
