Abstract

Abstract Roads are land transportation infrastructure that has an important role in the economic, tourism, social, and cultural growth of a region. As its service life progresses, roads experience damage, especially due to traffic loads. In this study, road pavement damage was observed visually and the condition of the road pavement was determined using the Pavement Condition Index Method (ASTM D6433-11). The locations of this study are several intersections located on Jalan Ringroad Selatan, Yogyakarta, namely Madukismo Intersection, Dong-kelan Intersection, Druwo Intersection, Wojo Intersection, and Giwangan Intersection. This study shows that the average value of the Pavement Condition Index on the roads observed is 89, which means that the road pavement is in good condition. Keywords: road; road pavement; traffic load; road damage; Pavement Condition Index Abstrak Jalan merupakan prasarana transportasi darat yang memiliki peran penting dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi, pariwi-sata, sosial, dan budaya suatu daerah. Seiring dengan umur layanannya, jalan mengalami kerusakan, khususnya akibat beban lalu lintas. Pada studi ini, kerusakan perkerasan jalan diamati secara visual dan kondisi perkerasan jalan ditentukan dengan menggunakan Metode Pavement Condition Index (ASTM D6433-11). Lokasi peneli-tian ini adalah beberapa simpang yang terletak di Jalan Ringroad Selatan, Yogyakarta, yaitu simpang Madukismo, Simpang Dongkelan, Simpang Druwo, Simpang Wojo, dan Simpang Giwangan. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata Pavement Condition Index di jalan yang diamati adalah 89, yang berarti perkerasan jalan berada pada kondisi baik. Abstract

The integrated intermodal service system between the South Sumatra Light Rail Transit (LRT) and road-based transportation modes such as the Palembang Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) and Angkot Feeder Musi Emas still has shortcomings, particularly in the areas of the Asrama Haji and Bumi Sriwijaya Station. This research is conducted to observe the conditions of the physical facilities, payment integration, and schedules at both stations, as well as to examine the regulations in meeting the standards of ideal pedestrian physical facilities, which are then compared with passenger perceptions. This research utilizes the methods of crosstabulation analysis and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Crosstabulation analysis is used to determine the relationship between respondents' sociodemographic and their travel characteristics. Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) is used to assess passenger perceptions of the performance quality of intermodal facilities. Based on the research finding, according to passengers perceptions of 49 service attributes, there are 20 attributes that have a high level of importance but low performance, indicating the existence of three service provision needs that need to be prioritized for improvement. First, the provision of adequate and disability-friendly sidewalk facilities. Second, the provision of pedestrian crossing facilities. Third, the access to and from the node that is free from traffic conflicts. The recommended solutions include the construction of sidewalks connected to the node points, built higher than the road surface, installation of guiding block, barrier posts, and ramps at each end of the sidewalk, construction of an overpass (JPO) at the Asrama Haji Station and a pelican cross at the Bumi Sriwijaya Station, and the regulation of transit areas to prevent vehicles from parking and waiting at the entrance and exit points of the node.

Abstract

Abstract Asphalt Concrete-Wearing Coarse (AC-WC) is the top layer of a flexible pavement structure. As a road surface layer, the AC-WC coating is very susceptible to moisture damage due to weather influences. Therefore, the use of hydrated lime has been widely studied to improve the performance of asphalt pavements. In this study, the use of hydrated lime, with a finer size or nano scale, is used as a substitute for filler in the AC-WC mixture, with the aim of evaluating the use of nano hydrated lime as a substitute for filler in the AC-WC mixture. This study shows that the use of nano hydrated lime filler substitution in the AC-WC mixture increases the optimum asphalt content value of the mixture along with the addition of nano hydrated lime. Sebagai lapis permukaan jalan, lapisan AC-WC sangat rentan terhadap kerusakan akibat kelembaban karena pengaruh cuaca. Oleh karena itu, pemanfaatan kapur padam (hydrated lime) telah banyak diteliti untuk meningkatkan performa perkerasan beraspal. Pada penelitian ini pemanfaatan hydrated lime, dengan ukuran yang lebih halus atau dengan skala nano, dimanfaatkan sebagai subtitusi bahan pengisi pada campuran AC-WC, dengan tujuan untuk mengevaluasi penggunaan nano hydrated lime sebagai subtitusi bahan pengisi pada campuran AC-WC. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunanaan subtitusi bahan pengisi nano hydrated lime pada campuran AC-WC meningkatkan nilai kadar aspal optimum campuran seiring dengan penambahan nano hydrated lime. Abstract

Setiap permukaan perkerasan memiliki sifat yang berbeda-beda yang berpengaruh terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami sifat termal dari permukaan perkerasan, seperti profil albedo dan temperatur serta memberikan pertimbangan dalam mengembangkan perkerasan sejuk. Empat jenis permukaan perkerasan yang digunakan, aspal hot mix baru, aspal hot mix lama, chip seal dan permukaan perkerasan beton semen portland. Nilai albedo diselidiki dengan menghitung rasio radiasi yang datang dan  yang dipantulkan. Profil suhu diselidiki dengan perekaman menerus menggunakan thermocouple. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan negatif antara albedo dengan temperatur dimana semakin tinggi albedo maka semakin rendah temperatur permukaan perkerasan.

Abstract

Abstract Hot asphalt mixtures require aggregate as the constituent material. In this study, the potential for glass waste to be used as an aggregate substitute is examined. For this reason, a mixture design was determined to obtain the Optimum Asphalt Content of the Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course mixtures using glass waste as a substitute for fine aggregate. The glass waste used is glass waste that passes through sieve No. 50 and retained on sieve No.100. The proportion of glass waste substitution is 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% to the amount of fine aggregate in the mixture. The asphalt mixture in this study was made using the Marshall mixture design method. From this design, the Optimum Asphalt Content is obtained at 5.9% (0% glass waste), 5.4% (25% glass waste), 5.2% (50% glass waste), 5.1% (75% glass waste), and 4.9% (100% glass waste). Next, test spe-cimens were made for Indirect Tensile Strength testing, and carried out for testing in dry and wet conditions, and the Tensile Strength Ratio of the test specimens was determined. The Tensile Strength Ratio of the asphalt mixture decreases with increasing proportion of glass waste and decreasing asphalt content. Overall, this research shows that glass waste can be used as a substitute for fine aggregate. Pada studi ini dikaji potensi limbah kaca untuk dimanfaatkan sebagai substitusi agregat. Untuk itu ditentukan rancangan campuran dengan untuk mendapatkan Kadar Aspal Optimum pada campuran beraspal jenis Asphalt Concrete-Binder Course dengan menggunakan limbah kaca sebagai substitusi agregat halus. Limbah kaca yang digunakan adalah limbah kaca yang lolos ayakan No. 50 dan tertahan ayakan No.100. Proporsi substitusi limbah kaca adalah 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, dan 100% terhadap jumlah agregat halus dalam campuran. Campuran beraspal pada studi ini dibuat dengan menggunakan metode perancangan campuran Marshall. Dari perancangan tersebut diperoleh Kadar Aspal Optimum sebesar 5,9% (limbah kaca 0%), 5,4% (limbah kaca 25%), 5,2% (limbah kaca 50%), 5,1% (limbah kaca 75%), dan 4,9% (limbah kaca 100%). Selanjutnya dibuat benda-benda uji untuk pengujian Indirect Tensile Strength, dan dilakukan untuk pengujian dengan kondisi telah dilakukan pengkondisian kering dan kondisi basah, serta ditentukan Tensile Strength Ratio benda-benda uji. Tensile Strength Ratio campuran beraspal mengecil dengan bertambahnya proporsi limbah kaca dan berkurangnya kadar aspal. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa limbah kaca dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai substitusi agregat halus. Abstract

The Remaining Service Life (RSL) of the pavement can be used to assist in determining the proper timing of maintenance work. This study aims to analyze the value of the remaining service life of flexible pavement based on the prediction of damage that occurs using the MEPDG method and based on the prediction of pavement performance conditions with the Pavement Condition Index (PCI) value. Three roads in D.I. Yogyakarta is used as the object of research, namely the Milir-Sentolo, Pakem-Prambanan, and North-West Arteries. Prediction of the remaining service life of the pavement is calculated based on the prediction of the amount of damage. The types of damage predicted were rutting, alligator cracking, and longitudinal cracking. The pavement response value is obtained from the results of the analysis using the Kenpave program with the modulus of elasticity of the material for each layer as input. The results of the analysis show that the Pakem-Prambanan road segment has the longest remaining service life, both based on the prediction of pavement damage (³ 14th year), and the predicted PCI value (7th year). This is because this section serves the least traffic compared to others

Abstract

Toll road projects are complex construction undertakings that inherently involve a variety of significant risks. This study aims to identify the key risks associated with toll road construction projects through a comprehensive literature review, followed by expert validation conducted on a case study of the Yogyakarta–Bawen Toll Road Section 1 project. The validation process involved distributing questionnaires and conducting interviews with five professionals representing the project owner, consultant, and contractor. The literature review initially identified 31 potential risks; however, expert feedback determined that only 20 of these risks were considered relevant. Additionally, experts introduced two new critical risks: design changes due to government policy and prolonged design review processes. This brings the total number of validated risks to 22. These findings provide a foundational basis for further risk analysis and the development of effective mitigation strategies aimed at minimizing adverse impacts during toll road project execution.

Kurangnya kapasitas sumber daya terbukti menjadi kendala pengelolaan risiko kecelakaan. Walaupun demikianpenelitian-penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar faktor penyebab dan pemicu kecelakaanmasih dianalisis secara terpisah, sementara skema pengelolaan risiko terpadu sangat terbatas. Tujuan studiini adalah untuk mengembangkan skema pengelolaan risiko kecelakaan lalu lintas terpadu. Pengembangannyadidasarkan pada hasil investigasi terhadap substansi pengelolaan berbagai pola pengelolaan risiko kecelakaanyang ada. Ditemukan bahwa 1) variabel yang dipakai dalam proses analisis risiko harus tidak saja mengakomodirfactor penyebab dan pemicu kecelakaan melainkan juga variabel-variabel penjelasnya. 2) untuk meminimalkanaspek ketidakpastian dalam metode analisis risiko, penentuan periode, durasi maupun lokasi survai harusdisesuaikan dengan kebutuhan kontekstual di lapangan 3) diperlukan upaya pengembangan skema pengelolaanrisiko kecelakaan yang lebih sesuai dengan mengintegrasikan pengaruh tiap variabel terkait secara menyeluruhdan proporsional. Selain itu, model Jarak Pandang Henti direkomendasikan untuk digunakan dalam analisisrisiko kecelakaan.

Abstract

Abstract Premature damage to road pavement can be caused by several factors, including the use of materials that do not meet specifications dan uneven density in the base layer. To overcome this problem, innovative solutions are needed. The use of natural zeolite powder as a substitute for filler in road structural layers is an interesting innovation in the construction industry. This study aims to evaluate the effect of natural zeolite powder on the mechanical dan technical properties of Grade A Aggregate Base Course. Through an experimental approach, standard mixtures of Grade A Aggregate Base Course were compared with mixtures using varying levels of natural zeolite powder, ranging from 0% to 100%. The testing procedures carried out follow the Indonesian National Standard procedures dan include examining the characteristics of the materials used dan testing the density of the mixture. This study shows that increasing the zeolite powder content leads to a decrease in the maximum dry density value, while the Optimum Moisture Content value increased. Keywords: road pavement; Zeolite; base course; Optimum Moisture Content; maximum dry density Abstrak Kerusakan prematur pada perkerasan jalan dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, termasuk penggunaan bahan yang tidak memenuhi spesifikasi dan kepadatan yang tidak merata pada lapisan dasar. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini diperlukan solusi inovatif. Penggunaan bubuk zeolite alam sebagai pengganti filler pada lapisan struktur jalan merupakan salah satu inovasi yang menarik dalam industri konstruksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh bubuk zeolite alam terhadap sifat-sifat mekanik dan teknis Lapis Fondasi Agregat Kelas A. Melalui pendekatan eksperimental, campuran standar Lapis Fondasi Agregat Kelas A diban-dingkan dengan campuran menggunakan variasi kadar bubuk zeolite alam, mulai dari 0% hingga 100%. Prosedur pengujian yang dilakukan mengikuti prosedur Standar Nasional Indonesia serta meliputi pemeriksaan karakteristik material yang digunakan dan pengujian kepadatan campuran. Hasil yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kadar bubuk zeolite mengakibatkan penurunan nilai kepadatan kering maksimum, semen-tara nilai Kadar Air Optimum mengalami peningkatan.
