Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis proyek kolaboratif online terhadap pemahaman konsep geografi dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa kelas XI IPS di MA Baiturrahman Banyuwangi. Penelitian menggunakan desain true experimental dengan pre-test and post-test control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 76 siswa yang dibagi menjadi kelompok eksperimen (n=40) dan kelompok kontrol (n=36) melalui cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes pemahaman konsep geografi dan kuesioner keterampilan kolaborasi yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t independen setelah dilakukan uji normalitas dan homogenitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek kolaboratif online efektif meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geografi dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa. Terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara skor pre-test dan post-test pada kelompok eksperimen untuk kedua variabel tersebut (p < 0.001). Mekanisme efektivitas model ini didukung oleh prinsip-prinsip konstruktivisme, belajar sosial, dan saling ketergantungan. Siswa terlibat aktif dalam proyek, berinteraksi dan berkolaborasi secara online, serta memiliki fleksibilitas dalam mengakses sumber belajar. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi unik dengan meneliti konteks pendidikan geografi di Indonesia dan mengukur keterampilan kolaborasi secara langsung. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah guru geografi dapat mengadopsi model pembelajaran ini untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Sekolah dapat memberikan dukungan dalam implementasi model ini. Namun, penelitian ini memiliki keterbatasan terkait ukuran sampel, konteks penelitian, dan durasi intervensi. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan ini. Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek kolaboratif online menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geografi dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa, namun implementasinya perlu disesuaikan dengan konteks dan kebutuhan siswa.

Abstract

This research explores the gender shifts occurring in Oeseli, a remote village in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. In this village, women are the primary breadwinners due to socio-geographical conditions. Through a socio-geographic lens, this research explores how semi-arid climate and geographical boundaries of Sawu Sea affects an economy and leads to shifting gender roles. Through in-depth interviews and observations, the research highlights women's dual role as caregivers and breadwinners, which is exacerbated by men's migration in seeking greater economic opportunities outside the village. Despite their significant contributions to the agriculture, livestock, and fisheries sectors, women in Oeseli face various constraints, including local resource, skill, and infrastructure limitations that hinder their full economic potential. Conceptually, this research reveals how semi-arid environmental pressures drive male labor migration and reconstruct gender roles, particularly for rural areas with limited natural resources such as Oeseli. It provides a new socio-geographical explanation of how ecological constraints lead to gender shifts. This qualitative case study research emphasizes an imperative for interventions that empower women, address gender inequalities, and foster sustainable development.  By bridging the traditional cultural practices with the evolving socio-economic realities, this research advocates for a more equitable distribution of labor and resources. In the end, the research aims to increase community resilience and achieve gender equality in Oeseli and similar contexts.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self esteem, self confidence, self efficacy on academic resilience in new students at Darussalam University. The method in this study uses non-experimental correlation with a total of 67 students. Data collection using a self esteem scale developed based on the Rosenberg Self Esteem scale (RSES) theory, a self confidence scale developed with Shrauger and Schohn's theory known as the Personal Evaluation Inventory (PEI) adapted to educational conditions in Indonesia, developed with a self Efficacy scale using the General Self-Efficacy Scale. While for resilience using the Resilience Evaluation Scale (RES) which is adjusted to education in Indonesia. The research findings showed that students tend to have low self esteem, high self confidence, high self efficacy, and higher student academic resilience. The relationship between self esteem, self confidence, self efficacy to academic resilience shows a strong relationship.

Abstract

Various challenges and difficulties caused by writing a thesis are problems that cannot be avoided for every final year student. They are required to complete the thesis on time, even though there are many problems. Therefore, final year students working on theses need the role of resilience. Previous research has shown that resilience can be influenced by internal protective factors, one of which is optimism. This research uses correlational quantitative. Correlational research is research conducted to determine the relationship between two or more variables. The result of the calculation of the normality test is 0.528 which is greater than 0.05. So in accordance with the basis of decision making shows the data is normally distributed. The results of the correlation calculation also show 0.616 because it is close to 1, the relationship between optimism and resilience is strong, the results shown are positive. Value of Sig. 0.000> 0.05 then it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship. This indicates that if Optimism is high, Resilience is high and vice versa.

Abstract

In the learning process students will get various external and internal demands that can trigger academic stress. population of 4th grade students at PP. Darussalam. This study aims to determine the Pretest & Posttest scores, significant differences between Pretest & Posttest scores and the effect of Al-Quran sound healing therapy on students' academic stress levels. This study uses quantitative methods with the research design One Groups Pre-Post Design, the research technique used is Non Probability Sampling and Purposive Sampling technique. This type of data analysis uses Simple linear regression. The results of this study are that there is a difference in the average value of Pre-Post class 4 Ula. with the amount of decrease in Academic Stress by the Featured class greater than 1.2 from the Regular class, Al-Quran Sound healing Therapy has a significant effect on Academic Stress, and Al-Quran Sound healing Therapy has an effect of 3.5% on the academic stress level of students in Madrasah Diniyyah Al-Amiriyyah PP.Darusalam. Dalam proses pembelajaran siswi akan mendapatkan berbagai tuntutan eksternal dan internal sehingga dapat memicu terjadinya stres akademik. populasi Santri kelas 4 ula di PP.Darussalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai Pretest & Posttest, perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai Pretest & Posttest dan pengaruh Al-Quran sound healing therapy terhadap tingkat stress akademik santri Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian “One Groups Pre-Post Design”, teknik penelitian yang di gunakan adalah Non Probability Sampling dan teknik pengambilan sampel Purposive Sampling. Jenis analisis data menggunakan Regresi linier Sederhana. Hasil pada penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata Pre-Post kelas 4 Ula. dengan jumlah penurunan Stress Akademik oleh kelas Unggulan lebih besar 1,2 dari kelas Reguler , Al-Quran Sound healing Therapy berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Stress Akademik, dan Al-Quran Sound healing Therapy berpengaruh 3,5% Terhadap tingkat stres akademik santri di Madrasah Diniyyah Al-Amiriyyah PP.Darusalam.

Abstract

Songgon Sub-district in Banyuwangi frequently experiences flooding due to high rainfall intensity and insufficient drainage infrastructure. Community-based solutions are needed to address this recurring problem in a sustainable manner.  This study employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach to empower the local community in constructing biopores and infiltration wells as flood mitigation measures. The stages included asset identification (Discovery), formulation of shared goals (Dream), program design (Design), resource organization (Define), and implementation with sustainability planning (Destiny). Community training and facilitation were central components of the intervention. The ABCD approach effectively increased community engagement and participation. Several biopores and infiltration wells were successfully installed in targeted areas. These interventions contributed to improved groundwater recharge and reduced surface water runoff. Success factors included active community involvement, collaboration with village authorities, and the use of local resources. ABCD-based facilitation in constructing biopores and infiltration wells provides a participatory and sustainable strategy for flood mitigation in Songgon Sub-district. The approach demonstrates the importance of local empowerment and resource mobilization in addressing environmental challenges.

Abstract

This study examines the effectiveness of a structured assistance program in enhancing the scientific article writing skills of students at IAI Ibrahimy Genteng Banyuwangi. The program was implemented through a comprehensive workshop held over half a day, featuring expert-led sessions and interactive activities. The workshop commenced with an opening session introducing the objectives and agenda, followed by two main instructional segments. The first session, delivered by Ahmad Irfan Ilhami, M.Sos., covered fundamental components of scientific writing, including title formulation, abstract creation, keyword selection, introduction, methodology, results, and discussion. The second session, led by M. Rizqon Al Musafiri, M.Pd., focused on citation practices, bibliography management, and the utilization of reference management tools such as Mendeley and Zotero. A dedicated assistance period allowed participants to apply their learning with real-time feedback from the instructors. The program concluded with a closing ceremony that reinforced community and motivation among participants. Evaluation through participant feedback indicated significant improvements in understanding and applying scientific writing principles, demonstrating the program's success in addressing common challenges faced by students. The findings suggest that targeted workshops with expert guidance and practical support are effective in developing students' academic writing competencies. Recommendations include extending the program duration, incorporating ongoing mentorship, and utilizing advanced technological tools to further enhance writing skills.

Abstract

This community service aims to enhance the geospatial technology competencies of Geography Education students at the University of Jember through Web-based Geographic Information System (WebGIS) training. The training focused on four main geospatial tools: Google Earth Engine for satellite imagery processing, Caltopo for topographic mapping, Windy.com for real-time meteorological data access, and ArcGIS Online for comprehensive spatial analysis. Using participatory training methods, 30 students participated in the program through presentation, demonstration, and hands-on practice sessions. Results showed significant improvement in students' understanding and skills, with pre-test scores averaging 45.3 increasing to 82.7 in post-tests. The training successfully equipped future geography teachers with essential digital literacy and geospatial analytical capabilities needed for 21st-century geography education. This program contributes to strengthening geography education quality and preparing competent educators capable of integrating geospatial technology in their teaching practice.
