Abstract

The new curriculum (2013 curriculum) encourages implementing the higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) approach in learning Islamic religious education in each academic unit in Indonesia. This paper intends to study the HOTS implementation trend in the learning process of Islamic religious education in Madrasas and schools. The method in this study is a systematic literature review. Researchers found that this trend began to emerge after implementing the 2013 curriculum by the Indonesian Government, where the curriculum used a scientific approach. Teachers, educators, and experts' efforts in implementing HOTS in Islamic Education learning can be grouped into two categories. The first is that they innovate the HOTS-based learning process, and the second is those who develop HOTS-based assessment instruments. Several innovations in the learning process were carried out by applying various learning methods, models, and strategies. The application of HOTS-based learning in Islamic Education learning can improve learning quality to be more effective, efficient, fun, and meaningful. This improvement, then, has an impact on increasing the quality of learning achievement. This study provides highlights and helps to understand the results of previous studies that discuss HOTS using systematic reviews in the implementation of Islamic Religious Education in Madrasas and Schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the application and effectiveness of reading and writing the Qur'an in increasing interest in reading the Qur'an in Early Childhood at the Daarul Ulum Landfill, Sausu Village, Parigi Moutong Regency. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study is teachers. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview, and documentation methods and analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that first, the application of reading and writing the Qur'an at the Daarul Ulum Landfill, Sausu Village, Parigi Moutong Regency by using several methods, namely the sorogan method, the weton method (halaqah) and the method of giving assignments or exercises. Second, reading and writing the Qur'an is effective in increasing interest in reading the Qur'an in Early Childhood at the Daarul Ulum Landfill, Sausu Village, Parigi Moutong Regency.. The implication shows a good thing, where the reading and writing of the Qur'an makes children from an early age understand the Qur'an correctly both in tajweed, pronunciation and writing in order to create quality children, who love the Qur'an.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah semakin berkembangnya zaman maka banyak pula pengusaha kecil yang bermunculan dengan berbagai inovasi makanan dan minuman yang beragam. Yang kebanyakan dari mereka hanya sekedar berniaga untuk mendapatkan keuntungan tanpa menghiraukan prosedur peraturan negara. Melihat deskripsi tersebut, penulis terdorong untuk mengetahui lebih mendalam mengenai ANALISIS KEPASTIAN HUKUM PRODUK MAKANAN YANG BELUM BERSERTIFIKASI HALAL BAGI KONSUMEN MUSLIM (ANALISIS UNDANG-UNDANG NO. 33 TAHUN 2014 TENTANG JAMINAN PRODUK HALAL). Skripsi ini melaporkan hasil penelitian dengan rumusan masalah : (1) Faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi banyaknya pengusaha yang belum melakukan sertifikasi halal?, (2) Bagaimana kepastian hukum produk makanan yang belum bersertifikasi halal menurut undang-undang?. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis studi kasus dengan prosedur pengumpulan data melalui langkah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, triangulasi. Data Reduction (Redaksi Data), Data Display (Penyajian Data), Verifikasi Data (Proses Penarikan Kesimpulan). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh simpulan bahwa (1) Dari hasil survey atau penyinkronan antara data kajian liteatur dengan kajian lapangan diperoleh faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran sertifikasi halal di Indonesia yaitu egoisme dan percaya diri pelaku usaha yang tinggi, kurangnya pengetahuan pelaku usaha mengenai Undang-Undang No. 33 tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal, kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman mengenai persyaratan dan tata cara sertifikasi halal, lebih tertarik dengan sertifikasi gratis, serta tergolong usaha kecil dan masih baru. (2) Dalam Undang-Undang No. 33 tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal dan Undang-Undang No. 18 tahun 2012 tentang Pangan sama-sama menyatakan bahwa suatu produk dinyatakan halal jika tertera label halal pada produknya. Selain itu Undang-Undang No. 8 tahun 1999 tentang Perlindungan Konsumen, juga menegaskan bahwa suatu produk dinyatakan halal jika terdapat label halal dan sudah bersertifikasi halal. Dan bagi konsumen yang merasa dirugikan bisa menyelesaikan perselisihan antara konsumen dan entitas ekonomi melalui pengadilan atau melalui pengadilan yurisdiksi umum. Tuntutan tersebut juga termasuk dalam hal belum dilakukannya sertifikasi halal pada produk yang dibeli oleh konsumen atau yang diedarkan, hal tersebut mengacu pada Pasal 4 Undang-Undang No. 33 tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain the impact of the Active learning method on high-order thinking skills (HOTS) within the realm of Islamic education. Our primary contribution is the comprehensive meta-analysis of various preliminary and university educational studies. Using RStudio, we analyzed the differences in effect sizes, variations, and groups among studies. The findings indicate that the Active learning method significantly enhances HOTS, with the mixed learning method showing the most pronounced effect. We adopted a systematic approach, examining diverse learning methods like genre-based learning and blended learning model. Our research design entailed a meticulous meta-analysis of pre-existing literature rather than primary experimental or survey-based methods. However, we identified high heterogeneity in effect sizes as a limitation, suggesting the need for more nuanced studies in varied contexts. This research underscores educators' need to adapt learning strategies suited for specific educational levels, pointing towards a brighter horizon for tailored pedagogical interventions.

Abstract

Pendidikan di madrasah sarat akan pembinaan kedisiplinan beribadah pada siswa, khususnya salat lima waktu. Meski demikian, masih menyisakan siswa yang tidak menjalankannya. Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi impelementasi model pembinaan kedisiplinan beribadah pada siswa. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan model studi kasus. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dengan menggunakan instrumen penelitian yaitu pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan ceklis dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan dan analisis data dilakukan melalui prosedur pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Data diuji keabsahannya menggunakan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) model pembinaan kedisiplinan beribadah pada siswa yang diterapkan ialah model keteladanan (uswah), pendidikan (al-tarbiyah), pembiasaan (al-ta’dib), dan hukuman (garamah), 2) faktor pendukung ialah sistem pembelajaran pondok pesantren, lingkungan yang religius, sarana dan prasarana, dan absen salat berjamaah. Adapun faktor yang penghambatnya kurangnya tenaga pendidik (SDM) dan kurangnya kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya ibadah karena karakter bawaan dari rumah, dan 3) menambah tenaga pendidik serta bersosialisasi dengan orang tua/wali siswa.

Abstract

Nowadays, we lived in virtue era that everything will use glass or screen. Every student also will follow the era. Most of the students are holding the gadget wherever they go. Nairn in Joanna Canny (2013) states that children spend twice as much time in front of a screen (like televisions, computers, mobile phones, iPods, iPads, etc.). Even in the classroom they looking for their task and open their gadget. In this case, English Language Teacher should follow the era. Caused the students always hold the gadget, the teachers should provide the media that related to the gadget. To solve this case kahoot comes and bring new innovation. This media really awesome with nice features which are colorful, shape, sound, and others feature that include in. Through this media, the teacher will manage the students with a fun learning like kahoots’ tagline “make learning awesome”. It will give the students attractive in learning English. Abstract

This study investigates the adoption of the Zenius digital learning platform at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Ali Maksum, an Islamic boarding school in Yogyakarta, during the pandemic era pandemic. Employing a qualitative case study methodology, the research focuses on the school's strategic use of Zenius to maintain educational quality for 12th-grade students. Methodological triangulation, encompassing interviews, observations, and document analysis, enabled an in-depth evaluation of the digital learning implementation and its impacts. Key findings indicate that Zenius, with features like ZenBot, Live Classes, and a comprehensive Content Library, effectively supported the learning process, evidenced by the UTBK (University Entrance Test) scores analysis. Despite its successful application, challenges were noted in tutors' subject matter mastery and the need for more individualised instruction. The study's limitations include its focus on a single institution and reliance on observational data, which may affect generalizability. The research contributes to the discourse on educational technology, highlighting the necessity for adaptable, student-centred learning environments and continuous educator training. Future research directions include broadening the scope to multiple institutions and incorporating qualitative analyses to better understand technology's role in education during crises. This study underscores the importance of integrating innovative educational methods, particularly in challenging times, with implications for educational policy and practices.

Abstract

Purpose – This study maps current evidence on religious moderation in Islamic Education in Indonesia to assess the effectiveness of policy, curriculum, pedagogy, and the institutional ecosystem—framed by Pancasila—as a counter-radicalization strategy and a shaper of inclusive character. Design/methods/approach – Systematic Literature Review (SLR) grounded in Kitchenham & Charters. Scopus search (February 12, 2025) using TITLE-ABS-KEY("religious" AND "moderation"), period 2018–2025, document type article. 754 articles found; 127 filtered as relevant; 72 fully reviewed; 2 excluded (review-based); 70 analyzed through qualitative content analysis (mechanical and interpretive stages) following the PRISMA scheme. Findings – Implementation of moderation is effective when wasathiyah values are integrated across subjects and practiced through dialogic methods (problem solving, inquiry, discussion), an integrative curriculum, and educator involvement. As a counter-radicalization strategy, effectiveness is supported by firm campus policies framed by Pancasila, the strengthening of national values (tawassuth, tawazun, i‘tidal, al-wathaniyah), and the role of madrasahs and universities as agents of social change. Key factors include school leadership, an inclusive curriculum, interfaith dialogue, and directed use of technology (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge [TPACK]). These findings sequentially answer RQ1–RQ4 (curriculum implementation; counter-radicalization strategies; contributions of empirical approaches; the role of higher education). Research implications – Recommendations include the standardization of moderation competencies in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI)/higher-education curriculum; the design of dialogic pedagogy grounded in experiential learning and inclusive social projects; capacity building for educators and digital literacy (TPACK); and institutional policies that synergize mentoring, intra/extracurricular activities, anti-radicalization governance, and curation of the educational digital ecosystem.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented in Gunung Riut Village, Halong District, Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan, an area with abundant bamboo resources and strong economic and cultural value. This potential has not been optimally utilized as a driver of the village's creative economy. The main problem lies in the weak capacity of local institutions, particularly the Karang Taruna youth organization, which has not been actively involved in productive activities such as making bamboo chairs and other derivative products. This program uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach that places the community as the main subject or actor in the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating activities. The program aims to increase the independence of the community and village youth in managing local potential in a sustainable and economically valuable manner. The activities were carried out over a month using participatory methods, including socialization, coordination with local craftsmen, procurement of tools and materials for the pre-workshop, and a workshop on developing the creative potential of the village, involving four villages around Mount Riut. The results of the activities showed an increase in the technical skills of the participants in processing bamboo into marketable products, an increase in collective awareness of local economic potential, and the growth of motivation among young people to become entrepreneurs. In addition, this program succeeded in revitalizing the role of Karang Taruna as the driving force behind the village's creative economy and strengthening collaboration between villages. This program is expected to become an applicable model of empowerment based on local potential.

Abstract

The rising divorce rate in Makassar City has significantly impacted children's psychological well-being and educational rights. This study aims to analyze the judicial considerations of judges at the Makassar Class 1A Religious Court regarding the fulfillment of children's rights in divorce rulings, viewed through the perspective of Maqasid al-Syari'ah. This research employs a qualitative method with a field study design, utilizing data from verdict analysis and interviews with judges. The findings indicate that judges prioritize the child's primary interests (maslahat primer), covering the protection of life (hifz al-nafs) and intellect (hifz al-’aql). Judges implement progressive policies, such as mandating an annual percentage increase in child support (e.g., 10%) to combat inflation and determining custody based on the parent's moral and educational assurance rather than strict age limits. However, the effectiveness of these rulings is hindered by the Indonesian Civil Procedure Law, which lacks an automatic monitoring mechanism, often rendering child support rulings as "non-executable paper judgments". This study concludes that legal reform adopting effective forced execution principles is necessary to guarantee children's constitutional rights.
