AbstractThis article aims to describe the cause of the low level of motivation Factors about students in learning the art of dance in high school development. This type of research is qualitative research methods a descriptive analysis. The object of this research is the motivation of students in learning the art of dance in HIGH SCHOOL Language Class x. development of UNP. Type of data captured is the primary data and secondary data. The main instruments in the collection of data are observation, interview, writing instruments, camera. Data collection techniques used in this research is now done by observation and documentation, interviews, observations. The results showed that the lack of student learning motivation in high school art lesson on UNP Development dance. Factors that affect the motivation of high school students learning construction of UNP on the subjects of dance are internal factors namely still less his perseverance in learning students in the task given by the teachers, there are still students When told to appear unwilling students flits, still a lack of awareness of students in asking if diberii the opportunity of learning the art of dance, and external factors i.e., classroom management, infrastructure. This research proposes a formulation of the problem that is "How does the effect of assignment methods on the results of dance learning in Class VII SMPN 21 Batanghari Jambi Province". So that the purpose of the research is to prove and explain that the use of assignment methods affects the results of dance learning in Class VII of SMPN 21 Batanghari Jambi Province. This type and approach of research is quantitatively short-shortening quasi-experiments, with research designs that only control the test results at the end (posttest only control of design). The research population was in all students of class VII of State Junior High School 21 Batanghari which amounted to 121 students. The sample was in two classes, in 30 class VII-B, called The Experiment Class and 30 VII-C students, called the Control class. A simple sample cluster sampling is the sampling technique. After the test was conducted, it was known that the average test score of the end test of the experimental class and the control class before being tested and the t-test was 84.00 versus 80.50. After these two average scores were tested again using the t-Test formula in SPPS v16 at a degree of freedom of 29 and alpha level of 0.05%, it was found that the t-count value = 3,672. If this t-count value is cooled by the t-table as listed in Table T, the t-table value is 1.69913. This means that the t-count value is greater than the t-table. Test results stated H1 was accepted, and H0 was rejected. The conclusion is that the application of assignment methods affects the difference in learning outcomes to be higher in dance learning in Class VII SMPN 21 Batanghari Jambi Province.

AbstractThis article aims to identify and describe the correlation of interest with the study results of dance learning in SMP N 4 Padang.The type of research used was quantitative research with correlation method (relationship). The correlational research was intended to examine the presence or absence of the correlation of students’ interest towards learning outcomes of dance art of 8th-grade students of SMP N 4 Padang. Population in this research was all 8th-grade students of SMP N 4 Padang or 220 students, while the sample of research was 69 students of 8th-grade students of SMPN 4 Padang who were randomly selected. Instruments used to obtain the data were questionnaire research and student learning outcomes in the Odd semester (1) academic year 2017/2018. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between students' interest towards the learning outcome. It is proved by the value of rcalculatedwas 0,628 and rtable.was 0,237 at a significant level of 5%, so that it can be concluded that rcalculatedwas bigger than rtable. Hence, Ho hypothesis was rejected and Ha was accepted. It means that there is a significant correlation between interest and students’ study result of dance learning.Keywords: correlation, interest, dance art

Abstract This article aimed to determine students' perceptions of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang. The type of this research was descriptive research. This research was conducted at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with 75 students participating in extracurricular activities. The populations of this research were students who took dance extracurricular activities; this study required 40 samples to represent 75 populations. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, observation, documentation, interviews and literature studies. The results showed that indicators about students' perceptions of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School in Padang could be said well. Indicators of perceptions about student admission to dance extracurricular at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with the level of achievement of respondents namely strongly agree (SS) 61.2%, agree (S) 28.3%, doubt (R) 7.2%, disagree (TS) 0.2% and strongly disagree (STS) 0%, an indicator of perceptions about students' understanding of dance extracurricular activities at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with a high level of respondent strongly agree (SS) 60.6%, agree (S) 29, 3% hesitant (R) 9.3% disagree (TS) 0.2% and strongly disagree (STS) 0%, indicator of perceptions about students' assessment of dance extracurricular at Pertiwi 1 High School Padang with attainment level strongly agree ( SS) 60.4%, agree (S) 26.8%, doubt (R) 10%, disagree (TS) 1.8% and strongly disagree (ST) 0%. Abstrack The purposed of this thesis for to meet and to states of the analyze structure of the plate dance Movement Pijak Kaco di Daerah Lipek Pageh Nagari Sungai Nanam Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok. This plate dance Pijak Kaco told about how the activitiet of the people in the field or dry field. This dance perfomed for certainty of programs such as : villages party, wedding party and for to receive that people high position in the viilage. Struktur of this plate Dance Pijak Kaco look in dance of elements are : movement, motive / style, phrase. Sentence and group. Kind of this research is kualitative with analyze descriptive methot. Object of this research about the analyze strukture of the plate Dance Movement Pijak Kaco that are in Lipek Pageh Nagari Sungai Nanam Kecamatan Lembah Gumanti Kabupaten Solok. With the collect of data, bibliography interview, and observation. Technic palyze of data is analyzing structure of the Dance Movement Pijak Kaco. The result of writing that plate Dance Pijak Kaco there are 19 styles, 6 phrases, 6 sentences and 4 groups. The plate Dance Pijak Kaco have, 4 dancers. The plate dance Pijak Kaco is wearing costum : kurung shirt, galembong trousers, belt and hat. Key word. Gerak tari, motif, kalimat dan gugus.

Abstract This study aims to identify and describe the student motivation in learning dance at SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung Agam Regency. This is descriptive quantitative research. Object of this study is the students in learning dance in grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung Agam Regency. Primary data of the research were collected through questionnaires. The population of this study was grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung Agam Recency which consists of 5 (five) classes totally 152 students. Based on analysis indicated that students' motivation in learning dance seen from the intrinsic motivation of the students was very good 94.93% (discipline 90.22%, responsibility 96.75%, and participation 97.82%). Similarly, extrinsic motivation of the students was also very good 89.12% (facilities 90.06% , infrastructure 80.23%, and awards 97.08% ).

AbstractThis article the aim to describe the improvement of children’s motor skills through fun activities, that is audio stimulation. This research was based on the fact that childreen’s had low motor skills. This was due to the lack of creativity and strategy from teachers in creating an activity to develop children’s motor. This research was a Clasroom Action Research (PTK) which took 20 people, 9 boys and 11 girls, as the subject of this research. The techniques of data collection used were observation and documentation. It was conducted in two cycles. Cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II was conducted in three meetings. In cycle I, the percentage of the average score of children with good category was thirty-nine percent, while in cycle II, the percentage of the average score of children increased to eighty-five percent. The result of this research showed that the average percentage of children’s motor skills trough audio stimulation increased from 39% in cycle I to 85% cycle II. Their score increased into good in cycle I and became better in children’s motor skills at Teladan Pertiwi Tunas Harapan kindergarten, BukittinggiKeywords: Motor, Stimulation, Dance

Abstract This article aims to analyse the problems that caused the loss of its existence in fabric dance in the community supporters. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive method of analysis. The object of this research is to Dance in rock Fabric Urip Lubuklinggau South Sumatra Province. The type of data in this study is the primary data and secondary data. The main instruments are the researchers themselves. Engineering data collection done by the library, observation, interview and documentation. The data collected was analyzed with techniques of interpretation so that it can be retrieved. The results showed that the revitalization effort underway to lift the back Dance fabric from the village of stone town of Lubuklinggau Urip through coaching and training activities of the Dance Art Studio fabric in Tepak Cindo. Effort to lift back Dance fabrics with ways of processing and dissemination. Processing that is developing a pattern, and modify the costume by adding accessories and a long dress to look attractive. Whereas a Dance fabrics with revitalization efforts of dissemination through training and performances, i.e. reproduce the appearance or extended performances committed by Sanggar Seni Tepak Cindo in the town of Lubuklinggau so that more known more this Fabric as the Dance community identity Neighborhood City Positions Lubuklinggau Stone. Persepsi Siswa Laki-Laki Terhadap Seni Tari Kelas VIII Di SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh Gustin Eliza; Susmiarti Susmiarti

This study aimed to identify, reveal, and describe the perceptions of male students towards the learning of dance arts at the 8th grade level of SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh. The type of research used was qualitative research with a descriptive approach. For obtaining the data, the research used primary data and secondary data. The instruments in this study were the researchers themselves and were assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Techniques of data collection were completed by observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The results of interviews indicate that many things that must be addressed by the school in order to improve the learning outcomes of male students. All the filled questions, male students tend to lead to intrinsically negative rather than positive. It can be seen by the lack of attention, interests and desires from within themselves to be interested in learning dance. Extrinsically, the more negatively leads because male students tend to lack confidence due to ridicule and others laughing at them. Thus, increasing the perceptions and motivations of male students in participating in dance art learning is essential, which can be supported by giving understanding to male students, to better understand dance learning delivered by their art and culture teachers. The results showed that male students' perceptions of dance learning at the 8th grade level of SMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh were not pleasant, it can be seen in the evaluation statements that tend to be less competent and the results of interviews mostly had negative perceptions in dance art learning.

The article aimed to know and describe the relationship between students’ perception toward the results of the study of art and culture in SMP Negeri 4 Padang. Type of the research was used in this research was quantitative with the correlational method (relationship). Correlational research intended to examine whether there was a relationship between students’ perception toward the results of the study of art and culture in grade IX SMP Negeri 4 Padang or not. The population in this research was all of students in grade IX of SMP Negeri 4 Padang which was 204 of students meanwhile the research sample was 67 of students from the whole grade IX which was taken by using Slovin formula. The instruments were used to obtain data were questionnaires and report of students’ results in the odd semester (1) in 2018/2019. Results of the research showed that there was a relationship between students’ perceptions toward the results of the study. The correlation of test results with the values was obtained for the variable X (students’ perception) and the variable Y (result of the study) was 0.7954 while rtable was rcount, so 0.2404 > rtable. Then it can be drawn the conclusion that the relationship is positive and significant and it can be proceeded by using significance test. Significance test is sought by using t test so that the variable results obtained is tcount = 10,579 and ttable = 1,996 (tcount > ttable) to X (the student's’ perception) toward Y (the result of study). Then it can be drawn the conclusion that Ha is accepted.
