Abstract

Abstract   The research aimed at understanding and describing the implementation of cooperative learning model in improving student’s creativity in the learning dancing at SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang. The problem in the learning dacing at SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang was the student were lack of creativity. The object of the research was grade VIII.E students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang. The research showed that the implementation of cooperative learning model could improve students’ creativity in learning dancing. It was seen from their creativity test. On the cycle 1, their average score was 51.5 while on the second cycle it was improved up to 81.5. Thus, the implementation of cooperative learning model could improve students; creativity in learning dancing at SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang.   Kata kunci : hasil belajar, Model Cooperative Learning

Abstract

This article aims to describe the use of audiovisual media in learning to improve the learning results of dance in SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. This type of research is research action class (classroom action research) and measures planning (plan), persiapaan the implementation of the action, observation (observation), reflection (reflection). Research procedures can be divided into three stages: preparation, implementation, and completion. The research instrument was its own researchers and supporting instruments such as assisted with writing instruments, video cameras and photo cameras. And techniques in analyzing the data is carried out by means of direct data processing in the field. The results showed that the audio visual media can improve the learning results of dance students in learning the art of dance in the SMP Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. With the media can also attract the attention of students and reduce the saturation level of the students in the teaching and learning process. On cycle I results on tests of learning psychomotor cycle I IE 7 persons complete and the 25 people are not completely cognitive tests, while 18 people has been completed and 14 persons thoroughly, but not in cycle II has experienced an increase in psychomotor tests i.e. 30 people has been completed and 2 people don't completely, whereas in cognitive tests there were 26 people thoroughly and 6 people don't completely. The increase in the natural occurring due to use of audio visual media triggers and learning interest of students and coupled with planning that designed everything possible to improve the results of learning by doing evaluasai on each meeting.

Abstract

AbstractThis study was aimed to know and describe the effectiveness of lecture and demonstration methods and the cause of ineffective both of them on dance art learning at class VII A SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. This study was qualitative with descriptive method. Instrument in this study was the researcher and it was also assisted by some tools such as stationery, camera and audio visual recording tool. Technique of data collection was done by using observation, interview, library research and documentation. Result of this study showed that both the lecture and demonstration methods on dance art learning at class VIIA SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP were ineffective yet. It could be seen from the students score who had not more reached minimal compeleteness criteria (KKM). The problem was caused by teachers who did not develop study well with using lecture and demonstration methods, teachers did not apply those methods optimally so that it could be seen that unstructured implementation of steps of the lecture and demonstration methods. Teachers did it randomly which caused those methods were used at class VII A SMP Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP were ineffective (not effective). Keywords: The Effectiveness, Lecture and  Demonstration methods, Dance Art Learning.

Abstract

This research uses qualitative research (1) aims to describe the form of Representation of Mandulang Ameh Dance in Kanagarian Palangki IV District Villages Sijunjung District. (2) The method used is descriptive analysis which the techniques to collect the data are: interviews, direct recording, literature, observation, transcription. (3) The result of this research obtained the form of Representation of Mandulang Ameh Dance that starting from preparation day before the event, such as fittings and rehearsal event in the building. The day of event in the building before the appearance there are the preparations are: put on make up the face and dress dancer, dance ready to be displayed to the dance. . Mandulang Ameh in there Hour Ceremony dance moves ranging from berhela – hela manunggu masin (bersantai – santai menungu mesin),sambah(sembah), mancaliak hari (melihat hari), manjampuik urang rumah(pulang menjemput orang rumah),pai katambang (pergi ketambang), maambiak kasiak(mengambil pasir), manggali kasiak (menggali pasir), mamisah ameh jo kasiak(memisahkan emas dan pasir), mambarasiahan ameh (membersihkan emas),mancaliak ameh(melihat emas),basanang dapek ameh(bersenang dapat emas),mangumpuan ameh(mengumpulkan emas),manuai (menuai),pesta dan pulang. Dance Mandulang Ameh in Welcoming Ceremony serves as entertainment as guests and arts events in the day - a great day. Ameh Mandulang dance danced by eight dancers with three male dancers - male and five female dancers, the costumes are simple dancers wearing traditional Minangkabau. Ameh Mandulang dance floor wearing a simple pattern such as triangles, straight lines are also circular, instrument used is talempong and Tambua also a pendendang and Tambua also a pendendang and can be displayed in the halls and open field.Key Word : bentuk penyajian, mandulang ameh, palangki,sijunjung

Abstract

AbstractThis research is classified into qualitative study which was conducted by using descriptive method. The primary has been gotten from the sources by observasing and interviewing them. The secondary data has been gotten from the documented data, documents and books, which are relevant with the research. After the data was collected, the researcher analysed the data by using data reduction, the presentation of data, and verification and conclusion. Based on the research findings, it was found that the factors impeding the development of “Zapin Melayu” Dance were derived from both the internal and external factors. The internal factor is closely related to the community in which the dance is developed. The rapid change of information nowadays has brought people to a new culture. Thus, the gradually  leave behind what they used to value as “tradition” and embrace modernity. People are not so much into learning the traditional dances anymore such as the Melayu Zapin dane. The external factors are related to the infiltration of the foreign cultures that increasingly push aside the local ones.Keywords: Obstacle Factor, Development, Dance Zapin Melayu

Abstract

Abstract   This article aims to reveal and explain the level of public appreciation of the existence of dance Stone Barajuik in Jorong Guguak Pariangan Tanah Datar. This research is a qualitative descriptive method. Data were obtained by direct observation and interviews, as well as literature and documentation. Data were analyzed based on the phenomenon that occurs on the existence of Stone Barajuik and appreciation of dance in the dance community, using the model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed, that the public recognition of the dance Stone Barajuik very less, so the art of dance Stone Barajuik be marginalized by society itself in Jorong Guguak today. The level of public appreciation of the existence of dance Stone Barajuik found to be low. people do not know and understand the ins and outs, and philosophy or aesthetics of dance Stone Barajuik, therefore people do not appreciate the Stone Barajuik dance well. The issue also lies in the closure of the heir to the community, so that people do not fully know the dance. Keywords: appreciation society, and batu barajuik dance.

Abstract

Abstract The research armed at describing the implementation of group work model in the self development during the dance activity of SMA N 1 Lubuk Alung. The design of the research was qualitative using descriptive method. The instrument of the research was the researcher. The methods used were field observation. The data was collected through observation, interview, library research and the field note the students’ activities. The data was analyzed the described. From the research, it was concluded that the implementation of group work method found to be advantageous and improved students learning outcome during the activity of self-development in the dance class at SMA N 1 Lubuk Alung.

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to reveal and explain Syofyani's idealism againsts dance style that has an impact on its popularity in the community. This type of research was qualitative with using descriptive method. The research instrument was the researcher as a key instrument, and it was assisted by both audio and visual recording devices. Location of the research was in Padang city. The informants were dance performers, choreographers and managers of studios and user communities. Data were collected by taking observation, interview, documentation study and literature study. Data analyses were done by referring to the Miles and Huberman technique, namely the stages of collecting, reducting, presenting, verificating and making conclusion of data. The results of the research show Syofyani's idealism regarding her style such as dance attitude, dance motions motive, motions rhythm, movement characters and expressions, distinguishing the dance styles created by Syofyani with dance works from other choreographers. Besides that, Syofyani's idea about her dance style is departing from the Minangkabau concept of women and men, as well as about Minangkabau customs towards the position of women and men who naturally changed. By looking at this distinctive dance style, Syofyani has become popular among the dance lovers community in West Sumatra.

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to describe the existence of traditional dance called Tari Piring di Ateh Talua in hall of Sinar Gunuang, Batu Bajanjang town, districk Lembang Jaya, in sub province of Solok. Research used the qualitative with descriptive method. Technique collecting data held by doing study on library, observation, interview and documentation. Technique of the data analysis held by classified the data based on the conceptual framework. Result of the research showed that Tari Piring di Ateh Talua survived by teaching and sharing. Teaching of Tari Piring di Ateh Talua was doing by traditional teaching of the teacher and student. Besides that, sharing is held by performing and presenting the dance in traditional ceremony like Batagak Gala, competition, and welcome dance. Kata kunci: Pelestarian, Tari, Piring di ateh Talua

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the existence of the Batin Kemuning Dance in Tembilahan District. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive analysis method. The main instrument in this study is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments and cameras. The data collection technique is done by means of literature study, observation, interview and documentation. The steps in analyzing data are collecting data, presenting data, drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Batin Kemuning Dance is a Malay creation dance created to participate in the 2007 Nusantara Dance Parade at Sanggar Sri Gemilang, Tembilahan District. In 2008-2010, Batin Kemuning Dance was always used at events organized by the Tourism, Youth, Sports and Culture Office (DISPARPORABUD) of Indragiri Hilir Regency to perform inside, outside the region to foreign countries. In 2011-2013, Batin Kemuning Dance experienced a decline because Sanggar Sri Gemilang tried to perform another dance, but in this span of this year, the Batin Kemuning Dance actually developed on social media (Youtube). In 2014-2019, Batin Kemuning Dance was always used again at government events managed by DISPARPORABUD. In 2020 the Batin Kemuning Dance was not performed due to the Covid-19 virus outbreak where all events were canceled.
