Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of a scientific approach to the academic achievement of SMA N 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam students in the field of dance. This type of research is classroom action research or classroom action research. This research uses in two stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Research tools are observation charts and direct experiments. Data was collected through literature research, observation, tests and documentation. The data is analyzed by a percentage formula. The scientific approach in dance education makes learning very effective, active and fun. Dance learning with a scientific approach can increase student enthusiasm and creativity, it can be seen from the addition of student learning activities with general indicators of student learning activities increasing each meeting with an average percentage of student achievement. at the 1st meeting 49.6% with poor criteria, at the 2nd meeting the average number of students with less good criteria was 61.3% and at the 3rd meeting it rose to 62.7% with quite good criteria After the second period, student learning outcomes rose at each meeting, the average percentage of student learning outcomes at meeting I was 71.7% very good, at meeting II it rose to 76.5% very good criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the learning outcomes of students taught using the Student Facilitator and Explaining type cooperative learning model with the learning outcomes of students taught with conventional learning models to improve student learning outcomes in cultural arts learning in MTsN 6 Kerinci. This type of research is a quasi-experimental study, the population in this study is all students of grade VII MTsN 6 Kerinci for the 2022/2023 school year as many as 74 people with a research sample of 2 classes, namely experimental class (VII B) and control class (VII C) with a total of 36 people, which were obtained using purposive sampling techniques. The instrument used in this study is an objective test. The technique used to test hypotheses is to use a one-way similarity test using a t-test. From the study, the average learning outcomes of students in the cognitive realm were 85.11 in the experimental class and 73.78 in the control class. Based on the analysis of the data obtained, tcount = 6.098 and ttable = 2.120 at a real level of 0.05. The result of the calculation shows that tcount > ttable, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion obtained is that "There is an improvement in cultural arts learning outcomes in class VII MTsN 6 Kerinci by using the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model".

Abstract

2024 Efforts to Improve Student Learning Outcomes Using the PeerThis research aims to explain and describe efforts to improve student learning outcomes using the peer tutoring method in class X1 dance learning at SMA Negeri 5 PadangTutor Method in Class X1 Dance Learning at SMA Negeri 5 Padang. The type of research carried out was classroom action research (PTK) which was carried out in 2 cycles. The research subjects were 36 students of class XI.F1 SMAN 5 Padang. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation and data analysis. The results of this research show that learning dance using the peer tutoring method was successful in improving the learning outcomes of class XI students at SMAN 5 Padang. It can be proven that before using the peer tutoring method, the average student score in cycle I was below the KKM, namely 70.5 with a KKM of 80. Meanwhile, in cycle II, student learning outcomes using the peer tutoring method increased by an average of 80.5. So it can be concluded that the application of learning through the peer tutoring method can improve student learning outcomes at SMAN 5 Padang.

Abstract

The implementation of extracurricular dance at MTsN 3 Padang City is specifically research conducted to find out how students' interest in implementing extracurricular dance includes indicators of feelings of pleasure, interest, attention and involvement. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation to find out directly about the implementation of arts extracurriculars at MTsN 3 Padang City. Then the results of the observations and interviews carried out in this research are described and described. The material taught is about randai. The teaching method used is discussion followed by practice. Based on the results of data analysis, 12 students who took part in the extracurricular, consisting of classes VII and VIII, showed that the interest of the students who took part in the Randai extracurricular can be categorized as good with an average score of 69%, because this method makes students feel interested and engaged. Regarding the extracurricular activities taught, students also often practice together and discuss movements and scripts that they do not yet understand. So the Randai extracurricular activities at MTsN 3 Padang City are running very well.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the Choreography of the Galuak Plate Dance at the Pinang Sinawa Kenagarian Taratak Art Studio, Sutera District, South Pesisir Regency. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and mobile phones. Data were collected through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps of analyzing data are collecting data, describing data and inferring data. The results of the study show that the galuak plate dance has 3 parts, namely the beginning as the opening of the dance, the middle part, and the final part as the climax. In this galuak plate dance, there are elements of dance composition consisting of; movement, floor design, group composition, top design, dancers, music design, costumes and makeup and props. The movements worked on by the choreographer describe the daily life of the Kenagarian Taratatak community. This dance work also looks very interesting with various floor patterns and group compositions so that the audience does not get bored in watching the performance and the various dancers who master soft movements and strong movements. The costumes used in the plate dance are simple costumes. This galuak plate dance raises the theme of the community's gratitude for the harvest. The music that accompanies the dancers' movements uses a tempo that is initially slow and rises to the end with a singing song. The properties used in the galuak plate dance are plates and shells.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe and reveal the presentation form of Rampak Sapinggan dance by Sanggar Sarunai Tonic in Payakumbuh Barat sub-district, Payakumbuh City This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive method The main instrument used is the researcher himself and supported by supporting instruments such as writing tools, cameras, and smartphones Data collection techniques are carried out by means of literature study, observation, and interviews Data analysis techniques are by means of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that Tari Rampak Sapinggan is one of the Creative Dances developed based on the basic movements of dance and Minang silek movements Tari Rampak Sapinggan is a non-representational dance, which means it does not depict anything Tari Rampak Sapinggan has a sequence of movements that starts from: sambah movement, tapuak galembong, ayun babuai, maarak or manjapuik, sanduak mancukam, lenggok baayun, baganjua maju, bajombo-jombo, basiang tagak, kibeh, baganjua suruik batanam, salingkuang korong, mambori sambah The number of dancers is 5 or odd, the floor pattern uses straight and curved lines The accompanying music uses traditional Minangkabau music such as Gandang, Talempong, and Sarunai Makeup uses beautiful makeup for women and handsome makeup for men Men's costumes wear rang mudo shirts, destar, galembong, and sasampiang, while women wear kurung clothes, songket skirts.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the Cooperative Learning Model Can Improve the Learning Outcomes of Class X Students of DKV SMK Teknologi Plus Padang. This type of research is classroom action research. This research was carried out in 2 cycles with the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation, literature studies, tests and documentation. The data was analyzed using a percentage formula. The results of the study show that the Cooperative Learning learning model with teachers as a direct example can improve learning activities and student dance learning outcomes. The average percentage of student learning activities in the first cycle was 58.5% with the criteria of Not Good. After making improvements in the second cycle, the average student learning activity became 86% with good criteria. Students who were previously less enthusiastic and only silent when moving become active, students who are shy in making movements become confident, students who disturb other students and just play become serious or focused in doing the assigned tasks, students who help each other when experiencing difficulties when practicing with a group. The use of the Cooperative Learning learning model in dance learning in class X DKV also has an impact on the average student learning outcome score. The average score of completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle I was 37.5%. Because it has not reached the KKTP, which is 75, it was carried out again in the second cycle and managed to reach a score of 87.5%.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the results of extracurricular dance pasambahan creations using the peer tutor method at SMP Negeri 25 Padang. This type of research is qualitative research using a descriptive method. The research instrument is the researcher himself and is assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. The data in this study uses secondary data and primary data. Data were collected through literature studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps to analyze the data are data reduction, data display and conclusion. The results of the study show that the application of the peer tutor method in dance extracurricular arts at SMP Negeri 25 Padang has improved the ability of students to understand 3 basic elements of dance, namely wiraga, wirama, and wirasa. This is evident from the observation results, from the first meeting to the last meeting. There has been an increase in the ability of students to make movements, adjust movements with musical accompaniment, and a sense has arisen when students make movements.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of cultural arts. The reason is that the use of the learning model and students' understanding of learning is not optimal. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of cultural arts learning outcomes by using the Discussion-Demonstration method in class XI.1 of SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK) that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. It is carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I consists of 2 meetings and cycle II consists of 1 meeting. Each cycle includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study are teachers and students of class XI.1 of SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik with a total of 36 people. The results of the study showed an increase in: a) the implementation in the aspect of teachers in the first cycle of meeting 1 with an average of 3.06 with good criteria, the first cycle of meeting 2 with an average of 3.41 with good criteria and the second cycle of 3.93 (very good), while in the aspect of students in the first cycle of meeting 1 with an average of 1.87 (not good), the first cycle of meeting 2 with an average of 3.31 (good) and the second cycle of 3.87 (very good), b) Assessment of student learning outcomes in cycle I with an average score of 66 and cycle II with an average score of 90. Based on these results, it can be concluded that using the Discussion-Demonstration Method can improve the learning outcomes of cultural arts in class XI.1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Kuantan Mudik.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan mengungkap masalah peningkatan pengetahuan dan kemampuan Sanggar Seni dalam menciptakan karya seni berbasis industri kreatif di Kota Padang. Penulis melihat bahwa perkembangan sanggar seni tidak bisa dilepaskan dari pengetahuan dan keterampilan pemilik/pengelola sanggar untuk tetap hidup di tengah persaingan industri kreatif yang semakin meningkat. Untuk bidang tari, agar dapat dipasarkan ke masyarakat seni pertunjukan dan kepariwisataan, nilai produktivitas karya tari dari sanggar seni sudah seyogyanya membawa visi dan misi industri/ekonomi kreatif. Penulis melihat masalah ini perlu dilihat dan dianalisis, agar sanggar seni tetap bertahan. Metode dalam kegiatan ini adalah studi kasus dengan cerama dan diskusi, untuk menciptakan kemampuan mandiri peserta pelatihan menciptakan karya tari baru sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri/ekonomi kreatif. Untuk gagasan itu, diperlukan pemahaman konsep mencipta tari sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat dan bagaimana memasarkannya. Selain itu, studi kasus ini juga dapat digunakan untuk memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi mitra di lapangan, khususnya untuk pengembangan sanggar seni yang berakar pada industri kreatif tersebut. Hasil yang dicapai di dalam kegiatan ini adalah, bahwa setelah dilakukan beberapa kali intervensi pengetahuan dan keterampilan seperti tentang konsep tari dan industri kreatif dimaksud, maka pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta pelatihan untuk mencari sumber garapan dalam menata tari bisa dikumpulkan, didiskusikan, dan diwujudkan.
