Abstract

Innovation performance is important in influencing human resource management to be able to bring progress to the hospital. Innovation performance is strongly influenced by many aspects, such as knowledge-based human resource management which influences intellectual capital (human capital, structural capital, and relational capital). This research involved 81 hospitals and 221 employees (managers/leaders of private hospitals) in the Greater Jakarta area. This type of research is deductive, and data collection by distributing questionnaires. The analytical method used is the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results obtained from this study are that knowledge-based HRM practices have direct and indirect effects on human capital, structural capital, and innovation performance. Furthermore, human capital can influence structural capital and innovation performance. Human capital also plays a role in mediating the relationship between knowledge-based HRM practice and structural capital and innovation performance, but it fails to mediate the relationship between knowledge-based HRM practice and relational capital. In addition, this research also proves that structural capital can mediate the relationship between knowledge-based HRM practice and innovation performance. Intellectual capital can affect innovation performance. Finally, knowledge-based HRM practice and human capital cannot influence relational capital, so relational capital cannot mediate the relationship between knowledge-based HRM practice and innovation performance.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and complement existing information related to the influence of e-trust, e-satisfaction, and social influence on purchase intention mediated by e-value. This is a survey research that uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques through online questionnaires which were distributed to 700 marketplace consumer respondents who had purchased cell phones or gadgets from January 2023 to June 2023. There were 700 questionnaires distributed and 233 returned, but only 155 were used according to this study’s criteria. This research was carried out through a validity test and a reliability test through the MSA test with the KMO and Bartlett tests. The hypothesis test used SEM-PLS through SmartPLS 3.3.9 software. The results showed that four of the seven hypotheses proposed in this study were proven positive and significant: the effect of e-trust on e-value and purchase intention, the effect of social influence on e-value and purchase intention, while the other hypotheses which could not be proven (not significant) were the effect of e-satisfaction on e-value and purchase intention, and the effect of e-value on purchase intention. In addition, indirectly, e-value plays a role in mediating the effect of e-trust and social influence on purchase intention because it is able to change (weaken) the significant effect to be insignificant. As for mediating the effect of e-satisfaction on purchase intention, the e-value variable is unable to mediate (strengthen) because the results are not significant or the same as the direct effect of e-satisfaction on purchase intention.

Abstract

Employees with perceived overqualification have a strong need for self-actualization and development, which, if not met, can lead to frustration and increase turnover intention. This study examines the complex relationship between perceived overqualification and employee turnover intention, with job satisfaction as a mediating factor and transformational leadership as a moderating variable. This research type is quantitative, using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data was taken from 160 employees of startup marketplace companies in the Special Region of Jakarta who are members of Generation Z. The data sample was selected using a purposive sampling approach. The data processing results using SEM-PLS indicate that perceived overqualification positively predicts turnover intention, with this relationship partially mediated by decreased job satisfaction. It is also known that transformational leadership can weaken the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention but strengthen the relationship between perceived overqualification and job satisfaction. These findings provide an empirical concept that in carrying out commitments to manage employees with perceived overqualification (especially Generation Z), companies need to focus on channeling excess qualifications by setting a platform and developing leadership.

(2) There is a significant positive effect of service quality on patient satisfaction at Lakesla of 0.626. (3) There is a significant positive effect of facilities on the quality of patient service at Lakesla of 0.296. (4) There is a significant positive indirect effect of facilities through service quality (as a mediating variable) on patient satisfaction at Lakesla of 0.186. (3) There is a significant positive effect of facilities on the quality of patient service at Lakesla of 0.296. (4) There is a significant positive indirect effect of facilities through service quality (as a mediating variable) on patient satisfaction at Lakesla of 0.186. (3) There is a significant positive effect of facilities on the quality of patient service at Lakesla of 0.296. Abstract

Measuring employee job satisfaction in hospitals in the digital era shows that digital technologies, such as online survey platforms, mobile applications, and data analytics, have increased the efficiency of data collection and analysis. These technologies enable faster, more accurate, and more personalized job satisfaction assessments, helping management better understand employee conditions and respond to their needs effectively. However, major challenges arise related to employee data privacy, limited digital infrastructure in certain hospitals, and resistance from some employees who are less familiar with digital technology. These factors can affect the quality of the data obtained and employee trust in digital-based assessment systems. Recommendations for hospital management include developing flexible assessment systems, investing in digital training for employees, and ensuring data security and transparency in its use to build trust. These steps can help improve overall job satisfaction and retain quality healthcare workers amidst the challenges of the digital era.
