Abstract

Purpose: This study aimed to analyze the influence of work environment, compensation, career development, leadership, and workload (as independent variables) on employee job satisfaction (as the dependent variable) in the healthcare sector, particularly in hospitals. Additionally, this study aimed to test the significant influence of work motivation (as an intervening variable) on the relationship between these variables. Research Methodology: The research method used was a quantitative method with an explanatory research approach, utilizing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and SMART-PLS. Results: The results of this study indicate that all independent variables show a significant positive relationship with the dependent variable, except for the workload variable, which shows a significant negative relationship. The influence of the relationships between variables is expressed in terms of Effect Size. The variables most directly influencing Work Motivation are Compensation with an Effect Size of 0.787, and Career Advancement with an Effect Size of 0.769. Work Motivation, as an intervening variable, was also found to significantly influence the relationship between the independent variables (Work Environment, Compensation, Career Advancement, Leadership, Workload) and the dependent variable (Job Satisfaction). Conclusions: The study found that all independent variables significantly affected job satisfaction both directly and indirectly through work motivation, with compensation and career advancement having the strongest effects, while excessive workload negatively impacted motivation and satisfaction. Limitations: This study was limited to a single private hospital in Jakarta, which may affect the generalizability of the findings to other healthcare institutions or regions. Contribution: This study provides useful recommendations for hospital management to enhance employee motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study analyzes the operational framework of PT. CKK in providing accurate and reliable security equipment repair and maintenance services through the integration of process design, technology, and supply chain management. Using a mixed approach involving case studies, document analysis, stakeholder interviews, field observations, and service flow simulations, the study developed a service blueprint that includes repair processes, preventive maintenance, and the application of technologies such as AI/Analytics for damage prediction, GPS-integrated CRM, blockchain for supply chain transparency, and custom testing tools. The results show that this strategy is able to optimize service efficiency, minimize operational downtime, and ensure compliance with international standards (TSA and ECAC). However, limitations such as the theoretical nature of the implementation of advanced technologies, reliance on the quality of historical data, and high investment burden need to be addressed. Managerial implications recommend strengthening data infrastructure, gradual technology adoption, e-learning-based HR training, supplier diversification, and expansion to the latest generation of security systems. This research provides practical guidance for security equipment maintenance service companies to improve service reliability while supporting market penetration in Indonesia through a combination of technical innovation and measurable operational management. The validation findings through limited simulations and focus group discussions also emphasized the importance of a balance between technological innovation and adaptation to operational limitations in the field

Abstract

This study examines ISO 31000-based risk management at PT. CKK, an airport and port security X-Ray equipment repair service company regulated by ICAO, TSA, and BAPETEN. This qualitative study uses holistic case studies to assess the effectiveness of risk management frameworks in achieving short-term (reduced machine downtime <1% per month, SLAs <2 hours) and long-term (ASEAN expansion, IoT/AI adoption up to 80% of customers) business goals. The risk management approach includes risk identification (engine downtime with RPN=15 and bad debt collection with RPN=16), likelihood and impact matrix analysis, priority evaluation, risk handling, and Key Risk Indicators monitoring. The results reveal that integrating tailored, inclusive, and dynamic risk management principles with business goals reduced residual risk by 60–80% using IoT/AI for damage prediction and blockchain for supply chain transparency. Operations (29.4%) and marketing (27.9%) will account for most of the IDR 739.6 billion risk management cost in five years. These findings help similar organizations optimize risk management in the X-Ray-based security technology industry with rigorous restrictions and expand into the ASEAN regional market

Abstract

Turnover intention or the desire to move is the tendency or intention of employees to quit their jobs voluntarily or move from one workplace to another. Burnout is an individual's response to work stress that occurs chronically and develops progressively which causes changes in health that affect work activities. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of work stress and teamwork on turnover intention and burnout as an intervening variable. The design of this study is observational analytic which aims to determine the relationship between variables through hypothesis testing, without intervening with the research subjects. The method used in this study is cross-sectional, by collecting data simultaneously at one time. Based on the entire series of analyses, it was found that burnout intervenes with work stress and teamwork on turnover intention so that by reducing work stress and increasing teamwork, burnout will be reduced so that it can reduce the turnover intention rate. Work stress and burnout have an impact on turnover intention, and teamwork has an impact on burnout.
