Abstract

La production écrite est une compétence qui demande plus de maîtriser  la compréhension que des autres compétences de base dans l’apprentissage  de la langue étrangère. La plupart des lycéens ont la difficulté dans la production écrite. Un des facteurs était le manque du média d’apprentissage qui pourrait entrainer les lycéens à s’exercer pour bien écrire indépendamment. En raison de la difficulté des lycéens en écrire, ainsi cette recherche a l’objectif majeur de savoir  l’analyse de besoin de lycéens et professeurs et la forme de media appropriée pour  augmenter  la compétence d’écrire de lycéens en utilisant la procédure la recherche et le développement ou research and development (R & D). Il y a dix étapes dans cette recherche, mais dû au temps limité, j’ai suivi cinq étapes. Ce sont (1)  lanalyse du problème,  (2) la collection des données, (3) la création du produit, (4) la validation, et (5) la révision. Les résultats de l’analyse de besoin montraient que 81 %  des lycéens ont une difficulté à  la compétence d’écrire et 100% des lycéens étaient d’accord du développement du média interactif d’apprentissage indépendamment pour améliorer la production écrite alors que l’interview au professeur montraient que le professeur était d’accord avec le développement du média d’apprentissage modern en utilisant les équipements de média du lycée (les ordinateurs). Basé sur ces informations, j’ai fait  le média interactif ‘’devose’’ pour améliorer  la production écrite le français des  lycéens de la dixième classe ayant le thème la vie scolaire. Devose est l’acronyme de mots du dessin, du vocabulaire et de la phrase.  La création de média s’est composée du vocabulaire, de la conjugaison, de la phrase, et de l’évaluation. Pour créer ce media, j’ai utilisé le programme de swish max.  J’ai demandé à un expert de valider ce produit. Après la révision, ce média est prêt à l’essai. Writing is one of language competences which requires greater understanding than the others. A lot of students face many difficulties in writing and it is caused by many factors. One of them is the lack of learning media which can help students to write correctly and independently. Base on the reason,  this  research is intended to find out the need of students and teachers and the media needed using Research and Development procedure. There are ten steps in this research method, but I only did the five of them. They were (1) formulating the problems, (2) collecting data,  (3) designing a product, (4) validating the design, and (5) revising the design. The result of questionnaire showed that 81% students felt that writing is a very difficult task and the other information  showed 100% students agreed with the development of an independently interactive learning media for writing. The interview result showed that the teacher agreed with the modern learning media development and utilized current multimedia. Based on those results, I designed interactive learning media “devose” whose topic is about school life to improve French writing ability for tenth graders. Devose is observation of  the word dessin, vocabulaire and phrase. This media uses swish max program and consists of four categories including vocabulaire, conjugaison, phrase, and évaluation. The design of the products were consulted with a french expert to know the  deficiency and unprofitableness. After repairing and consummation according to the expert advice, the design of the product is worthy used as a handle in learning french.

Abstract

his study aims to (1) develop learning models of happiness in learning French through literary works, and (2) to describe the application of learning models of happiness in learning French through literary works. The study applied a qualitative approach with two designs in exploratory research (1) to produce a learning model of happiness and (2) action research to evaluate the implementation of the learning model in the field. Data collection techniques are conducted through (1) in-depth interviews with French experts, (2) literary experts; and (3) psychologists to gain an important point of learning happiness. Then from the results of in-depth interview was compiled draft learning model of happiness through focus group discussion This research was conducted at Universitas Negeri Semarang, with research time from March to October 2017.The results of this research are the model of happiness teaching with ASSURE model which includes analyzing the students, formulating specific learning objectives, choosing methods, media, and teaching materials, utilizing media and teaching materials, requesting student response, and evaluation.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to describe French cultural aspects in French films, to classifyFrench cultural aspects and segments of French films in six themes, and to propose a lessonplans using the segments of French films. It is a descriptive qualitative research. Data source isthree French films: Être et Avoir; Paris, Je T’aime; and Y’aura t’il de la neige à Noël?. Thosedatas are printscreen of French films segments and also the dialogue conversation sentences.I used a documentation methode to collect data. The result shows that it has found 65 segments of French films which contain the French cultural aspects. Those segments are based onCECRL theories about French cultural. There’s also 86 French cultural aspects within the segments, and 89 compatibilities which related from segments to the six themes of French subject.In high school, it can be used into French cultural learning.

Abstract

Volunteer abroad programs for students have many challenges but also contribute to the development of human resources in the future. This paper aims to explain the volunteer program of students to abroad and their contribution to the internationalization of higher education. The study was conducted on four informants who participated in volunteer programs abroad and a NGO of volunteer programs through interview techniques and documentation. The research findings show that student volunteer programs abroad developped the international reputation of a university by seeing (1) the process of becoming a volunteer begins with collaboration between institutions, registration, selection and placement of participants; (2) volunteers conduct work programs in the fields of education and social affairs on an international scale; (3) this program greatly impacts the development of knowledge and social work experience of participants which impacts on career development in professional field; (4) volunteer programs are also an important point in developing university international cooperation.

Abstract

This writing aims to reveal that behind women’s weakness and tenderness there is an invisible power that can overturn men’s domination. While care seems more effective to get women’s love and respect, men tend to rely on domination. This, in fact, does not always work. Semiotic is a kind of analysis used to uncover the meaning of signs in a text. In literature this analysis serves to show different types of meaning. In this novel, there is a couple - Jerome and Monica, and their friend - Stanislas. Jerome dominates and excels in everything. He spends time hunting wild animals and doing man’s other sports. Monica is a housewife who is thirsty of her husband’s attention. She makes an affair with Stanislas, her husband’s friend. One day Jerome takes Monica, Stanislas and another woman to deer-hunting. Later he finds out that there is something between her wife and Stanislas. Driven by jealousy, he decides to kill them both. The writer used semiotic analysis because there are many signs of syntagmatic and paradigmatic meanings to discover. Key words: sémiotique, littérature

Abstract

Foreign language learning with local culture contents began from the importance of the representation of the roots of the nation in foreign language. Foreign language learning strategies which mediate local cultures and cultural values existed in a foreign language generate a global perspective on foreign cultures, not only on the articulation of local messages to foreign languages, but also it compares how the local values are relevant to the values of other nations. Eventually, learners realize that by understanding themselves, they will be able to appreciate the wisdom of other nations. French culture which was compared to Javanese cultures in this article proved the statement above.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are as follows: First, to discover the attitude ofprimary school's teachers in Semarang towards the curriculum changes. Second, todiscover what the teachers think of the new curriculum. The subject of this curriculumis the state elementary school teachers in Semarang who have experienced differentcurriculum changes twice in 1994 and 2004 respectively. The research reveals thatteachers showed 2 attitudes towards curriculum changes: high openness (76%) andmedium openness (24%) out of 100 respondents. Basically, we can classify theteacher's suggestion into 8 groups. They are government policy, infrastructure,program dissemination, dissemination, training, administrative affairs, curriculumcontent, sampling, and education.Kata kunci: sikap guru, perubahan kurikulum

Abstract

Uji sertifikasi DELF Tingkat B1 adalah persyaratan bagi lulusan departemen Perancis. Uji sertifikasi ini diberikan oleh semua universitas besar di Indonesia. Tingkat B1 penting bagi peserta didik dari Prancis yang sering digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai apakah simulasi global dapat berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan siswa dalam ujian berbicara DELF. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi berbicara menigkat melalui skenario pembelajaran menggunakan simulasi global. Peningkatan kemampuan berbicara 1,13 poin dibandingkan dengan rata-rata pre-test adalah 14,5 sedangkan post-test 16,36 dari 25 poin maksimal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, kami menyimpulkan bahwa simulasi global yang memberikan kontribusi untuk akuisisi kompetensi di uji produksi DELF lisan.   The test DELF Level B1 certification is requirement for graduates of the French department. It has been given by all the major universities in Indonesia. This level is important for learners of French to the reason for the frequent use in daily life. The purpose of this research is to assess whether the global simulation could contribute to student success in the DELF’ speaking test. The result of data analysis has shown that the speaking competence improved through the learning scenario using the global simulation. The jurisdiction of the oral production increases by 1.13 points by comparing the mean pre-test is 14.5 while the post-test 16.36 of 25 points maximal. Based on the results of research, we conclude that global simulation contributes to the acquisition of competence in oral production test DELF.

Abstract

Cette recherche a pour but de décrire la compétence de compréhension orale auprès des étudiants du deuxième semestre basé sur le niveau cognitif. Il existe quatre niveaux cognitifs dans la compétence de compréhension orale ce sont le niveau de connaissance, de compréhension, d'application et d'analyse. Nous avons utilisé la recherche descriptive quantitative comme l’approche de la recherche et la validité du contenu. Pour mesurer la fiabilité, cette recherche a utilisé une formule du K-R 21. La méthode utilisée dans cette recherche est la méthode de documentation et de test. Le résultat de cette recherche indique que la note moyenne est 47,15, alors la compétence de compréhension orale des étudiants du deuxième semestre basé sur le niveau cognitif est catégorisée mineur. Tandis que les niveaux cognitifs obtenus sont: le niveau de mémorisation (C1) 29,9%, le niveau de compréhension (C2) 19,5%, le niveau d'application (C3) 31,7% et le niveau d'analyse (C4) 18,9%. Title: The Students’ Ability of Listening Comprehension Based on Cognitive Levels: A Case of The French Language Education Program Semarang. The aim of this research is to describe the oral comprehension competency among students of the second semester based on the cognitive level. There are four cognitive levels in the listening comprehension competency these are the level of knowledge, comprehension, application and analysis. We used quantitative descriptive research as the research approach and content validity. To measure reliability, this research used a formula from K-R 21. The method used in this research is the documentation and test method. The result of this research indicates that the average mark is 47.15, then the second semester students' listening comprehension skill based on cognitive level is categorized minor. While the cognitive levels obtained are: the level of memorization (C1) 29.9%, the level of comprehension (C2) 19.5%, the level of application (C3) 31.7% and the level of analysis (C4) 18.9%.

Abstract

Etant donné que le français langue étrangère est important dans le secteur du tourisme, des universitaires indonésiens ayant le curriculum de français proposent aux apprenants le français au domaine tourisme. Dans cette recherche, nous avons développé un jeu de l’oie servant à aider les étudiants de maîtriser les informations touristique local en tant que la richesse culturelle de la ville, surtout à Semarang. Nous avons intitullé Les Serpents et Échelles du Tourisme (SÉTOUR) comprenant trois aspects: les sites touristiques, la cuisines locale et les événements culturaux. Comme la variation de cours du tourisme, il se complète par de plan, de pions, de dé, et de cartes questions. Il existe également un livret contenant tous les informations de trois aspect de tourisme local La méthode utilisée dans cette recherche est la recherche en développement (RnD) avec le modèle de conception d'apprentissage ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate). Après avoir révisé le produit, un expert l’a validé le contenu et la dessigne de media. Enfin, le Setour est prêt à jouer comme une nouvelle matière de l’apprentissage dans le cours de français du tourisme. Since French as a foreign language is important in the tourism sector, Indonesian academics with French curriculum offer French language learners in the tourism sector. In this research, we have developed a snakes and ladders game to help students master the local tourist information as the cultural wealth of the city, especially in Semarang. We have titled Le Serpents et Échelles du Tourisme (SÉTOUR) comprising three aspects: tourist sites, local cuisine and cultural events. Like a variety of tourism courses, it is completed by plan, pawns, dice, and question cards. There is also a booklet with all the information of three aspect of local tourism. The method used in this research is Development Research (RnD) with the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Develop-Implement-Evaluate) learning design model. After reviewing the product, an expert validated the content and designed it for media. Finally, Setour is ready to play as a new learning subject in the French tourism course.
