Abstract

An educational institution, Muhammadiyah Jambi University has integrated IT into its operational processes. Muhammadiyah Jambi University's information technology has not adjusted its governance system to achieve the greatest possible benefits from IT use and to keep advancing corporate IT governance. Consequently, in order to ensure that the corporate IT governance system at Muhammadiyah University Jambi is in line with business objectives, an IT governance plan is required. IT governance is an important asset for measuring the effectiveness and efficiency of improving a company's business processes using information technology. This study explains the way of a company can create specialized governance solutions for corporate information technology (IT) by analyzing IT governance performance using Cobit 2019 framework. The aim of this research is to analyze the performance of a system properly and provide recommendations for improving information technology governance at Muhammadiyah University Jambi. The methods are both qualitative by conducting observations, interviews, and taking work documents and quantitative methods by filling out questionnaires in 2019 Cobit design tool. The results of this research show several important processes that must be a top priority in the company, namely BAI06 (Managed IT Changes), DSS01 (Managed Operations), BAI07 (Managed IT Change Acceptance and Transitioning), BAI03 (Managed Solutions Identification & Build), DSS02 (Managed Service Requests & Incidents).

Abstract

Small and Medium Industries (IKM) have an important role in economic development. Muaro Jambi Regency is one of the districts in Jambi Province whose people are engaged in small and medium industrial businesses (IKM). This is inseparable from the important role of the Muaro Jambi Regency Government in supporting the development of small and medium industries (IKM). SMEs in Muaro Jambi Regency are grouped into 5 groups, namely craft SMEs, chemical and building materials SMEs, metal and electronics SMEs, food SMEs, and clothing SMEs. Of these 5 groups, it is necessary to know which group of IKM is growing widely both in terms of the number of IKM, number of workers, investment value and production value. The aim of this research is to find out and analyze which small and medium industrial groups (IKM) are superior in Muaro Jambi district and help simplify the process of selecting superior SMEs in Muaro Jambi district. The analytical model used to determine priorities for leading small and medium industries in Muaro Jambi district is the SAW (Simple Additive Weighting) model. The SAW model is used to formulate a weighted sum of priorities for the performance ranking of each alternative on all attributes, while the system design method uses the System Prototyping method. The result of this research is the SPK system with the SAW model which shows that the leading small and medium industries in Muaro Jambi district selected based on predetermined criteria are the Chemical and Building Materials industry with a total of 0.813

Abstract

Software Modeling is a scientific discipline for studying forms of software modeling that are used as part of the software development stages in a structured and object-oriented manner. This software engineering modeling is presented in Requirements Analysis and described using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) method. UML (Unified Modeling Language) is a visual modeling method used as a means of designing object-oriented systems. UML diagrams that are often used are Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Statemachine Diagrams and Component Diagrams. There are several applications that support UML creation, one of which is Draw.io. Draw.io is a website specifically designed for depicting UML diagrams online. It has a very responsive display and is integrated with Google's file storage service, namely Google Drive, so draw.io is an alternative for creating UML diagrams in a shorter time. Abstract

Aplikasi Belanjo merupakan layanan aplikasi belanja online yang digunakan masyarakat Kota Jambi untuk membeli kebutuhan pokok atau belanja sehari – hari seperti sayur, sembako, buah, daging dan lainnya tanpa harus datang ke pasar tradisional. Tujuan melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat penerimaan aplikasi Belanjo di Kota Jambi. Penerimaan teknologi merupakan kemauan dari pengguna untuk menerapkan sistem teknologi informasi dalam melakukan pekerjaan. Pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat penerimaan aplikasi Belanjo dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Technology Acceptane Model (TAM). TAM terdiri dari lima variabel yang saling terkait yaitu Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention to Use dan Actual Use. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah masyarakat Kota Jambi. Dalam menentukan sampel, penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik ini adalah teknik penentuan berdasarkan pertimbangan atau kriteria – kriteria tertentu. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 100 responden sebagai sampel penelitian yang diperoleh berdasarkan rumus Lemeshow. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membuat kuesioner melalui Google Form dan disebarkan kepada masyarakat Kota Jambi yang telah bertransaksi menggunakan aplikasi Belanjo melalui sosial media. Analisis data dilakukan dengan Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) menggunakan Software SmartPLS dengan uji outer model, inner model dan uji hipotesis. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis didapat kesimpulan secara keseluruhan dari 6 hipotesis yang diuji diantaranya 5 hipotesis diterima dan 1 hipotesis ditolak.

Abstract

Seeing the importance of measuring the level of student satisfaction with the service implementation of the education and learning system, a container for measuring the level of student satisfaction is needed. Student satisfaction and a good experience received by each student is one of the priorities prioritized by the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi in shaping the image or good name of the university. But unfortunately, so far, to measure the level of student satisfaction in having the experience of feeling the service of implementing the education and learning system and using existing facilities at the University, it is still in the form of a questionnaire in the form of paper which is distributed directly to students when students are going for the final semester exams with a fairly time-consuming process. time in procedures and calculations. so that there is no transparency in data collection that is accumulated directly through the system and does not become a waste of time, energy and paper. The purpose of this study is to analyze and design an Information System for Measuring Student Satisfaction on Web-Based Services for the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi Campus so that it can improve the services of the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi Campus. This design is made using the visual paradigm and using object-based modeling techniques to describe the analysis and design of the system, namely in the form of use case diagrams, class diagrams, and activity diagrams. This study resulted in a prototype design of an Information System for Measuring Student Satisfaction on Web-Based Services for the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi Campus. On this basis, an integrated system is needed, it is hoped that the system can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of implementation for the university in handling and implementing faster solutions related to services on the University campus of Muhammadiyah Jambi University.

Abstract

Computer-based information systems are needed, especially in the development of an organization, in this case is the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi. Where the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi pays less attention to incoming and outgoing letters because currently the mail scheduling information system has not been fully integrated with the system where for mail scheduling still uses the conventional system. Where the process is still carried out by separating incoming and outgoing letters and then writing or recording several parts of the letter, namely: letter number, letter description, letter origin, incoming letter date, outgoing letter date, agenda date, document. The purpose of this research is to analyze and design a prototype letter scheduling system so as to increase the effectiveness and efficiency in scheduling letters and speed up the process of searching for letters so as to make it easier for mail managers to find letters according to their needs. This design was made using the visual paradigm and using object-based modeling techniques to describe the analysis and design of the system, namely in the form of use case diagrams, class diagrams, and activity diagrams. This research resulted in a prototype design of an analysis system and design of a letter scheduling information system at the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi. On this basis, an integrated system is needed, it is hoped that the system can be implemented directly to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the letter logging information system at the University of Muhammadiyah Jambi.

Abstract

Inventory is an activity to compile goods or record existing goods or materials correctly. Inventory of goods is also a recording of data related to goods or assets at Muhammadiyah Jambi University. Every item that is to be procured must be recorded properly as well as if the goods that have been procured and distributed must be recorded and reported properly and correctly as asset data. Abstract

The laboratory is an academic support unit in an educational institution, in the form of a closed or open room that is permanent, managed systematically for teaching and learning activities, research, experiments as well as for practical and learning activities both individually and in groups. The laboratory at the Muhammadiyah University of Jambi has limited capacity, equipment and numbers because it is not proportional to the number of students, so students cannot master this value. These limitations can be overcome by scheduling the use of space. The current schedule for computer laboratory practicum can only be seen on the paper attached to the laboratory room and for the process of borrowing the laboratory, lecturers and students must come directly to the laboratory to communicate the laboratory loan to the head of the computer laboratory to see if there is an empty schedule. From the problems above, the purpose of this study is to design a Laboratory Usage Schedule System to make it easier for lecturers and students, especially the head of the laboratory, to access laboratory usage schedules regarding borrowing empty laboratories and substitutes for learning with the prototyping system method which results in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of implementation to overcome existing problems

Abstract

Store Gofone is a privately owned business entity that sells smartphones which are a tertiary need for people in everyday life. Initially, Gofone still sold conventional products, limited to meetings at product sales points or shops, which were deemed less effective and efficient. This is because Gofone does not yet have a dedicated e-commerce website to provide all information related to product sales. To make product sales more effective and efficient, an e-commerce website is needed. This research aims to increase market share, reduce operational costs, widen sales reach, increase consumer loyalty or loyalty to the product, as well as a promotional medium. The method used in this study is UML (Unified Modeling Language) which consists of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The design uses the prototype system method. The results of the research are in the form of an e-commerce system at Gofone Jambi.

Abstract

Expert systems are computer-based systems that use knowledge, facts, and reasoning techniques to solve problems that usually can only be solved by an expert in a particular field. The purpose of making an expert system for diagnosing damage to Android cellphones is to provide knowledge and information in repairing Android cellphones based on the type and characteristics of the damage that has occurred. The method used in this study is to use the forward chaining method, which aims to determine the type of damage experienced. The input needed is to choose a choice of questions regarding the symptoms that occur. The result of using the forward chaining method is the output solution in repairing damage to Android cellphones. And an expert system for damage to Android cellphones can help novice users or technicians to be able to find out precisely about the damage experienced by Android cellphones based on a selection of damage symptoms, so that repairs can be carried out quickly and precisely.
