Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income, efficiency, welfare of freshwater fish farming in the Purwa Mina Sejati Cultivator Group, Banyumas. This research is a quantitative research. The research population was the Fish Cultivation Group (POKDAKAN) of Purwa Mina Sejati, Beji Village, with 25 people. The results showed that (1) The income of freshwater fish farming business in Purwa Mina Sejati Banyumas Cultivator Group was profitable with an income of Rp. 7,604,386.6/month; (2)The freshwater fish farming business of Purwa Mina Sejati Banyumas Cultivator Group has been efficient with the results of the calculation of the R/C ratio of 4.44;(3) Freshwater fish cultivators in Purwa Mina Sejati Cultivation Group, Banyumas are already prosperous with the income of members/families of Rp. 3,213,849.20 greater than the standart living cost of Banyumas district. Abstract

Kegiatan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat sangat diperlukan guna menambah ilmu pengetahuan, wawasan, pengalaman dan ketrampilan manajerial masyarakat pada umumnya. Ilmu manajemen merupakan sebuah ilmu yang sangat penting untuk diterapkan dalam pengelolaan organisasi, pengelolaan kegiatan usaha atau usaha mikro kecil dan menengah dan pengelolaan ekonomi rumah tangga masyarakat pedesaan. Untuk itu dirasa sangat perlu memberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan bagi masyarakat tentang ilmu ekonomi khususnya ilmu manajemen keuangan. Tujuan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang Ilmu Manajemen keuangan yang digunakan untuk mengelola kegiatan usaha Keluarga atau pemilik usaha UMKM, khususnya diperuntukkan bagi ibu-ibu PKK yang memiliki usaha di Desa Kutaliman, Kecamatan Kedungbanteng, sehingga diharapkan dapat membantu dalam mengatur kesejahteraan keluarga. Metode yang dilakukan antara lain memberikan informasi serta penyuluhan tentang manajemen keuangan bagaimana melakukan pengelolaan bisnis atau UMKM dengan cara melakukan pengelolaan kas, pemisahan keuangan keluarga dengan keuangan usaha, serta berusaha melakukan pengembangan usaha dan inovasi produk. Diharapkan masyarakat desa dapat memahami dan mengetahui strategi yang dapat memberikan motivasi untuk tetap bertahan dan kelangsungan hidup usaha menjadi terjamin. Sehingga dengan kegiatan usaha yang semakin berkembeng masyarakat secara umum dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan taraf hidupnya.

Abstract

The average poverty rate in the Special Province of Yogyakarta is the highest compared to other provinces in Java in 2012 to 2018. The study aims to analyze the impact of economic infrastructure, educational infrastructure and health infrastructure on poverty in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. Data analysis using multiple linear regression with panel data equations and data processing using the eviews application. The results showed that economic infrastructure had a significant negative effect on poverty in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province in 2003 - 2018. Meanwhile, health infrastructure and education infrastructure had no effect on poverty in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province in 2003 - 2018. The implication of this research is that infrastructure development must be equitable and fair in all districts and cities in the Special Region of Yogyakarta, especially in areas with high poverty rates

Abstract

The food crop sector has a major contribution to national economic growth. For small farmers, farmer group institutions are very effective in developing farming businesses, but many farmers are not yet incorporated into farmer groups. This study aims to find out the factors that influence the interest of farmers to join farmer groups in Sokawera Village, Somagede District, Banyumas. This research is a quantitative type with primary data obtained from questionnaires, interviews and observations of 75 respondents. The analysis used is logistic regression to find the effect of the variables of business income, education level, land area, length of business, number of family dependents, age, and technology on interest in forming farmer groups. The results obtained are income, education, land area, number of family dependents, and age affect the interest of farmers to join farmer groups in Sokawera Village. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that the role of the government and farmer group institutions in socialization is strengthened to increase.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of education level, parents' income, experience, training, age, gender, type of school and marital status on the length of time looking for work among educated workers in Banyumas Regency. The research sample was 100 respondents. This study uses Multiple Linear Regression analysis. The results of the study show that education has a significant negative effect on the length of job search for educated workers in Banyumas Regency. There is no difference between experience and gender and has a significant positive effect on the length of job search for educated workers in Banyumas Regency. Marital status has a significant difference and has a negative effect on the length of time looking for work for educated workers in Banyumas Regency. Parents' income, training, age and type of school have no significant effect on the length of job search for educated workers in Banyumas Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze financial literacy, financial attitudes, locus of control, and peers on financial management behavior in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Wijayakusuma University, Purwokerto. The research method uses multiple linear regression analysis. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Wijayakusuma University, Purwokerto, who opened 1,599 respondents with a sample of 100 respondents. The sampling technique used proportional random sampling. The results of the study prove that financial literacy, financial attitudes, locus of control and peers have a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior in students of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Wijayakusuma University, Purwokerto. This finding implies that students can improve financial literacy, financial attitudes, locus of control and peers to be better, so that the level of financial management behavior they have will also increase and in making financial decisions will be better. Future research is expected to add independent variables such as spiritual intelligence, financial experience, social status of parents and increase in population as well as expansion of research.

Abstract

Previous empirical studies on the relationship of the tourism sector to economic growth have shown inconclusive results. Besides, the tourism sector has a low contribution to economic growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of local tourists, foreign tourists, the number of non-productive age residents, education, and health on economic growth in Eastern Indonesia. The research method in this study is using multiple linear regression with a panel data model. The data are annual data of 12 provinces with the period from 2010 to 2019. The results showed that local tourists, foreign tourists, the level of education and health had a significant positive effect on economic growth in Eastern Indonesia. Meanwhile, the non-productive age residents do not affect economic growth in Eastern Indonesia. The implications of this study are 1) the need to develop tourism infrastructure and 2) the need to improve the quality of human resources in the education and health sectors in Eastern Indonesia.

Abstract

Financial distress is a condition when a company experiences an inability to fulfill all financial obligations in the long term. This study analyzes capital structure, female directors, liquidity, and profitability predicting the possibility of financial companies in the 2018-2020 period experiencing financial distress. The research population is financial companies operating on the IDX in the 2018-2020 period with as many as 105 companies. Determination of the sample used is purposive sampling method with the results of 46 companies. The research analysis technique is panel data regression with the best fixed effect model. Based on the analysis results show that the capital structure has a significant effect on financial distress where the higher the company's leverage will cause financial distress. While female director, liquidity, and profitability have no significant effect on the company's financial distress. It is expected that the company will always pay attention to the level of use of leverage so that it can maintain the optimal condition of the company's cash. For future research, it is possible to add variables such as inflation rate, interest rate, tax, firm size, growth sales which can affect financial distress.

Abstract

The development of tourism in Kabupaten Brebes has obstacles and obstacles that must be faced, especially if it is not supported by the community around the tourist attractions. This study aims to determine the strategy of Kabupaten Brebes in promoting tourism. This research is a qualitative research that describes in depth the object of research through interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The results of this study indicate that the implementer of tourism development goals, the Tourism Information Center, and as a media liaison between the community and tourism managers. The results of this study are expected to be input for Kabupaten Brebes and other Regencies in developing tourism development strategies

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Mengidentifikasi indeks williamson berdasarkan kepulauan di indonesia.2) menganalisis hubungan ketimpangan pembangunan terhadap kesempatan kerja, kemiskinan, Indeks Pembangunan Manusia, dan investasi berdasarkan kepulauan di Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Indonesia tahun 2016-2020. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis indeks williamson dan analisis  korelasi pearson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pulau Sumatera, Pulau Nusa Tenggara, dan Pulau Papua masuk kategori dengan ketimpangan tinggi. Pulau Jawa dan Pulau Kalimantan masuk kategori ketimpangan sangat tinggi. Pulau Sulawesi masukkategori ketimpangan mendekati merata. Pulau Maluku masuk dalam kategori sangat merata. Ketimpangan pembangunan antar pulau di Indonesia memiliki hubungan yang sangat kuat dan signifikan terhadap kesempatan kerja, kemiskinan, indeks pembangunan manusia, dan investasi. Implikasi penelitian  ini adalah pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah daerah menciptakan pembangunan infrastruktur yang merata di Indonesia.
